One of the things I'm considering is releasing a few shows/ movies on the Super Family tier ($10), as well as extra episodes I film of Buffy or other shows as soon as their edited. For example, if I did Bly Manor or Umbrella Season 2, it would likely be a patreon exclusive where you could watch 2-4 full episodes a week on the highest tier. Does that sound interesting, or not really?

But I also believe reactors should react to shows that interest them otherwise the reactions are lackluster...although you do have to go where the views are as well. Buffy and The Magicians are the 2 finished series that I find compelling to rewatch with reactors, and currently I'm watching tons of reactions on youtube for The Wheel of Time.

I am watching those episodes with you because I enjoy your "company" and commentary, but I wouldn't alter my tier because of that series. I do like horror, but psychological, not body; I despise gore. Outside of horror, I'm more interested in offbeat stuff, like Umbrella Academy. I've heard good things about Queen's Gambit. Not at all interested in Game of Thrones. I dunno ... I'm more a fan of movies, as I've personally seen almost no TV more recent than the early 2000s, and so don't even know what to wonder about or be interested in. This probably isn't helping at all. I do think Patreon-only shows or episodes at a higher level is fair for you, as long as you're not cutting out watchers that have stuck with you thus far at a lower tier, that are here for a specific series that they're already getting at their current tier. Maybe start new movies/series in the new tier? Take that with a grain of salt, as it's your Patreon, obviously, and you should ultimately do what works best for you. FWIW, I have no objection to joining at a higher tier if it has exclusive content that I'm interested in. I'm already supporting another reactor at that level, and $20 to hang out with two movie/series-watching peeps isn't too high a price to pay for someone that prefers to go to movies alone, but also loves hearing feedback from intelligent people about the things they've watched. It's a lot less than most people spend on going out with their friends.

Your observations are on point and always interesting, but I'm not interested in any of the other shows that you are watching. Buffy is special in that we all want to watch it and we all have nothing else in common but Buffy.

You can't please everyone with everything so you know pick stuff you're interested in. I've watched reactions from you that I normally wouldn't just because of your thoughtful and interesting insights. Thank you for the great content!

2021-12-08 21:17:49 +0000 UTCOh goodness Thor 😳…well because S2 of Buffy is my favourite I’d be willing to to upgrade my tier. However, if I’m being honest, I’m kind of in two minds about it cause I’d need to let go of my other Patreons to upgrade. I’d do it for Buffy but I’d much prefer having more than that show. Problem is I don’t watch ‘Umbrella Academy’ or horror and nothing on the current poll interests me to be honest as I much prefer older tv shows and classic films. I saw ‘Game of Thrones’ and will probably vote for that, but you’ve seen it. Now I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the show but that’s a very heavy and long show and as I said you’ve seen it. If you’re watching with a friend I’m not sure either cause it depends on the quality of the discussion and I kinda think it would be cool to see you take on a show you’ve never seen. So to conclude, I really don’t know haha. Personally I do wish there would be some black and white films, rom coms or just classic movies in the highest tier but if Buffy is on the table then you know I have to say yes… :)

2021-12-08 21:16:26 +0000 UTCIf you change the tiers where more episodes of Umbrella Academy and others are in a $10 tier, does that mean that we would have to pay the extra $5 if we'd like to see your reaction to those shows continued? How would the other tiers work in relation? It may be OK. If it's something. You're interested in , you should do it. Personally though, I've been doing poorly with my Patreon budget. I'm working on weeding out channels I don't watch enough, or finding an alternating schedule for them, that can work better. So, depending on how the tiers go, I may need to opt out, unfortunately.
