Ohhh you look so so tired in this reaction! You really needed a little nap ;) This film was a true worldwide phenomenon. I remember that this song played all day on the radio and the video was one of the most popular. Plus there was a lot of ghost-themed merchandise (I think I had a case and pencils with the ghost symbol in the red circle). This was very fun to watch and I really enjoyed the movie.

And yes, thank the stars you watched the original 😅 I think this movie worked so well because with a highly exaggerated plot line, the humour wasn't exaggerated. It was smart and witty. And it wasn't all about the humour either. The actors did a great job of balancing ridiculous situations into grounded and serious acting. Ghostbusters 2 is just as fun as this one, so I have no problem with you reacting to it at all 😊
