I am loving Obey Your Master. I kind of expected her to be a sleeper build character where she destroys the race despite not training and doing nothing but wierd shit since she arrived in japan but turns out she's kinda fuckin crazy, like CIA operative with an obsession kinda crazy. I love it. Also "Uma Mussolini" that shit made me laugh way harder than it probably should have.

That’s why the records in Japan are generally much better than other countries, especially Europe, by a large margin. European horses have very bad aptitude for Japan turf and so do Japan horses for Europe turf. This is also a reason why European horses in general can manage a much more intense schedule. Since their turf is softer, their race horses can recover from races sooner.
