I can't count the number of times I have watched this drama. It is my all-time favorite especially since it was my intro to all thinks k-drama. Enjoy!

In Korea, there is an old saying, 'Don’t boast about your fighting skills in Beolgyo.' In more recent history, Beolgyo was associated with anti-Japanese activists who killed Japanese military police with their bare hands during the colonial period, and during the Donghak Peasant Revolution, the Donghak Peasant Army gathered in Beolgyo and devastated the surrounding area. In older history, it was even a gathering place for forces resisting the Japanese invasion during the Imjin War. Due to this historical background, Beolgyo has developed an image of being rough and tough.
