2025-10-01 02:29:30 +0000 UTCi feel like people would honestly like this movie more if they watched it before S1 and S2 of Pretty Derby. So many people I have seen react to this or talk about their first time watching after S1 and S2 is a bunch of people who kind of got pulled out of the cool moments in the races with Tachyon bc they all have like collective PTSD about leg injuries for characters. The second the show has a foot on screen during a run everyone flips out. Also I think you got confused during the movie, but Tachyon is not "chasing after" anyone that is just Manhattan Cafe who sees an imaginary friend. During the races the gold Tachyon we see is just a cool visual representation of her "perfect form" or "top speed" drawn that way because of what her name Tachyon means.

That’s a reference to irl Cafe looks like Sunday Silence very much. Jungle pocket roaring in Derby was referring to the irl horse who roared after the victory
