ya know, If you think about it, She has had NO love shown to her in her life. Her ability to process emotion and relationships is completely stunted. Sadly, this is something that happens in real life as well with children who suffer from severe neglect and abandonment.

yeah when the show just dives into standard Villainess tropes, you REALLY notice how much they skimped on the production value in basically ALL aspects. Hokkaido Gals also has this issue, but at least they knew when to up the budget, like in the latest episode (the penultimate one). this show has basically been riding off of Yumiella's autistic shenanigans, and while they at least do THOSE scenes well enough, everything else feels like a slog

This anime may feel a bit rushed but the interesting thing is that this is all still Vol 1 of the Light Novel. Most LN based anime cover 2-3 volumes per season.

This episode felt so rushed because they're trying to fit everything into 1 season
It's also strange that the studio producing this picked this up since it's not even close to their "usual" stuff
(They worked on Oreimo, Yuru Yuri, Acchi Kocchi and quite a few h*ntai)
