Fate Zero has some major spoilers for heaven's feel, but considering heaven's feel's movie assumes you already know fate very well (you won't fully get it if you never read the VN), it's not a big deal. The best way to avoid spoiler is to read the VN, but I assume that's not possible for the audience nowadays.

I would suggest lowering your expectations a bit. stay night in the original game with 3 different routes, in which events unfold in different ways. This means that it is not a fact that the plot twists that you think about from zero can happen in this route. This is the second, the first is a deen adaptation and the third is the Heaven's feel trilogy

To be fair since saber route aka for the anime 2006 version is the true start point you should have now who is the master and some servant mythologie . some info you should have know from saber road and some stuff that heppen diferently i will explaion because you don't plan to seen it : basicaly shirou learn who is saber and lancer in the first road and have they back flach in this road he would discorve i think 1/2 more servant mythologie in this road and the last road have some to discovery too a big different in this road from saber road is that in saber road saber hurt archer ( and so shirou don't use his comandement that important because that mean in saber road he have one more comande ) and is now healing himself in the rin mansion and the meeting with berseker without archer that will have some consecence on how the fight go ( you will seen because it hapen the same in heaven feel the last stuff is that in saber road in the end saber ask shirou to use his last comande to destroye the holy grail ( and she understant that emya was right to use it and she forgive emya )
