Working on Village of Boobs

A few words about what needs to be done before first version of Village of Boobs (working title) is released. I made a list of things that should be present in the first version. It doesn’t mean that part of the game should be completely finished, just that it is required to be present in some form, but could be reworked (it probably will be reworked several times) in the future:

Stuff before first version

• Title screen (added)

• Player character

• Player house

• intro scene, explaining why we are here

• 1-2 daily activities for player, like gardening or fishing

• at least 5 sex scenes

• unique dialogues for every NPC present

• "village" location that isn't empty (in progress)

• all NPCs are doing daily activities (in progress)

• Music (added music from WaB)

It doesn't look like very long list, but it also means that a lot of systems need to be coded, and a lot of assets need to be created.

I also have other, a lot bigger, list of many many things that need to be done. But it's very convoluted and messy

Intro scene

I have a wage idea of what intro can be about, but don’t yet know how this or other cutscenes will be looking in the game

Sex scenes

It will require not only illustrations, but a proper system of how sex scenes (or cutscenes in general) will be functioning. FuUn task to work on, but not an easy one.

Village location

Doesn’t mean it should be finished, but I want a proper looking locations with the village and some surrounding areas for the start. Don’t want any glaringly empty areas, or invisible walls. Other parts of the map can be temporary blocked with something like fallen tree or broken bridge for now.

It also means that the village should looks like a place, so I will be working on a lot of reusable pixel tiles, decorations, props, etc.

NPCs’ daily activities

I want NPCs not just walking and standing around, but doing their assigned job in the village according to their assigned schedule. That’s probably most complex task, but also most interesting for me. That would require careful programming, and probably a lot of testing and bugfixing.

So, that's the general plan.

After WaB's update I have done some work on Village of Boobs. Added Sister Anri into the game and replaced Sebastian with new fisherman Dirk. Not sure about his name, might change it in the future.

I also work on some assets to fill out the world. This one, for example xD Dirk won't be happy about the new view from his window.

I made them interactable, so you can hide inside, but there won't be a mechanic that requires you to use them.
