Let's go play outside.
Everything here is a work in progress.
This week I bought "World Creator" an environment creation tool. It's well worth the money for the time it saves and the things it creates pretty easily. I've been working with it, trying to create "another dimension" where you and yours hail from.
In order to have some consistency for what's visible from the starting location, I also put together a world map:

There's a lot that needs to be filled in, but I'm just focusing on what's visible from the starting island.

For some backstory: Your dimension is inhabited by beings that harvest emotion to be used as power, vaguely similar to electricity. Different factions harvest different emotions, each having differing benefits.
Harvesters of Vigilance, have created a giant light to ensure they have constant visibility of their lands. That is the giant yellow light in the sky as seen in the header image. It is effectively the sun for a good portion of the world. In the header image, it's "sitting" on a placeholder box. I've hired someone to create a kind of lighthouse to replace the box.
Somewhere vaguely opposite the Vigilance Light, will be Awe's creations of a few moon like objects. No as bright as the Vigilance Light, but amazing creations that cast a glow across the lands of Awe. Those creations will be addressed with the Vigilance Lighthouse is completed.

I've been looking at the Manor design as well, and working on performance optimizations. A significant portion of the time per frame is spent drawing all the stuff for the Manor. I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle that, including a complete re-design of the Manor. I'm not sure what's going to happen with it though.
I think that's mostly it for this week.
