Fun stuff this week, but it doesn't make for great visuals. The picture here is almost all of the first dialog tree. You could get through it in as little as 6 responses or as many as a lot.
The blue boxes are Player responses and gray is the NPC dialog. Your responses, most of them, shape the NPC's perception of you. How they perceive you, determines how they interact with you.
There are 28 personality categories each with 6 (168 total) descriptive words that form a spectrum on which you are perceived. Are you honest, determined and quiet, or maybe pushy, high-strung and gullible? Perhaps all 6.
There's a ton of room here to create a really unique personality for your character and see how NPC's react to the personality.
Different NPC's can perceive you differently as well. Act like an ass to one, while being nice to the other, you'll probably get farther with the other. It's kind of like a faction system on steroids.
