Saturday Update!

Hello again!

I 'm afraid there's still no real update from Steam. I can't believe it's taking this long 😩

On May 7th I got a message on my support ticket telling me that my game needs 'an additional review' [ full screencap of convo is up on DMG ] So I am under the impression that the original tester may have been replaced. But the wording was vague so I can't really be sure of anything.

I remain frustrated about the situation. I'm shocked it's dragged on this long.

There isn't really anything else I can do though, aside from continuing to wait.

I spent a lot of the previous week just taking a break. I feel as though all the stress and rushing and uncertainty of everything has caught up with me and hit me like a truck. I did a little bit of memelord work but admittedly not very much. I think it will be easiest to work on memelord during beta testing- that's how I've always done it in the past. Seeing people's reactions to the game really inspires me to create jokes and twists.

I did shake things up a bit on Friday by holding a surprise stream while working on an art piece to be included in the bonus section of the game. It went pretty well! I was a little worried that the people who harassed me at the end of my social media days would come back, but they didn't. It was just good vibes and drawing, a bit like the old days. Although it was slightly overwhelming since more people showed up than I expected haha

But it was nice.

I didn't manage to finish the picture yet, but here's how it looks so far:

I'm doing a pic of Strade in his original TINR outfit to kind of honour his origins. I feel like it's the poetic thing to do now that this new game is coming out [ and probably the last major piece of media I'll do about him ]

Anyway, I will continue to wait, and try to be productive when I can. I feel like I'm in no position to offer any promises or expectations, so I'll just say I'll be ready if anything changes.
