Credits - Month 18 - November

Hello again! It's December 1st which means it's time for a Credits Update!

Here's the explanation for anyone who doesn't know what this is:

My $20 tier on this Patreon is for people who want to permanently appear in the credits of the game. Anyone who pledges to this tier will be put into the credits. Anyone who does this for more than month will have the number of months they pledged under their name.

I default to using people's Patreon username because that's generally the only thing I know, but you can comment on this post or DM me if you'd like your name to appear differently [ it's no trouble to change ]

Without further ado, here is the in-game credits list as of today! 

I'll probably change the design of the credits page before the game goes live, I feel like it could be jazzed up a little. The current 'dots representing amount of months' system stopped working a while ago since the entries are hitting a width limit 😂 Don't worry, I'll make sure to change it to something that works before the game is done.

We'll probably end with 20-something months overall, so I'll have to rethink the styling. I might do something more subtle 🤔 one idea I have is to assign colors to the names based on how many months have been pledged so that they all appear as a color between yellow [1 month] and green [20-whatever months]. The label below is enough to tell a player exactly how many months were pledged, and the mixture of yellow-to-green names might look really cool.

This job will have to wait until I close the credits tier since I'll need to know the exact number of months to divide color by [ or whatever design scheme I land on ].

If you've pledged to the $20 credits tier, please make sure your name is on the list and that the number of months is correct! I actually have to do all of this very manually because Patreon is a prick and killed a search function I needed years ago LMAO So I could have made mistakes. My current combination of searches can miss people with specific circumstances as well.
