Saturday Update!

My week was a little bit underproductive, I have to admit. I've just been catastrophically exhausted for some reason. I actually had to stop working at noon on Tuesday and also stopped a bit early on other days. This is very rare for me, but I could barely keep my eyes open.
I don't think I'm sick, I just think seasonal change is hitting me like a truck. I'm pretty sensitive to it to begin with and the change has been pretty intense here this year.
I'm still pretty tired but I think it's improving. I broke out my S.A.D. lamp 😂

I worked on a few 'mostly unique' sprites as well, which also shrank my number. When a sprite has a lot of expression variants, I can pump out high numbers fast because I'm essentially just redrawing a face, but when they're more unique then I just have to start from scratch.

If I didn't come up with the idea to rub the button with a pencil eraser, I might have never beat the game! Ren's airplane ears are cute too. I wanna give him pats.

2024-09-14 17:09:09 +0000 UTCWoah...never heard of tapsilog or its crunchy garlic rice before, but it sure looks delicious! 👀 Online recipes/images of tapsilog reminds me of my own childhood meals, but we'd instead use plain jasmine rice with lap cheong ("Chinese sausage"). Breaking the fried egg's yolk and having it pour all over the fluffy white rice...mmm! 🤤 It's a pretty quick and easy breakfast to make too if you got a frying pan (and if needed, just using microwave-ready rice if you're lacking the spoons to clean/steam up your own batch of fresh rice). Aw man Gato, thanks for making me nostalgic and hungry! 😂 That said, there's probably a lot of factors that are going into your current "lull" period along with the seasonal changes (it's affecting me too, buddy 💀). And now that there's less adrenaline filled decision-making, your body is probably seizing the opportunity to soak in all the rest it deserves and needs. Treat yourself kindly, Gato!
