[Marvel : Spoiling Spider-man] Chapter 301 - 305

Chapter 301: "A Silent Takeover"

[After escaping from danger, Spider-Man couldn't help but cough twice. He sat there, gasping for air, only to spot the Vulture perched atop the factory, waiting for the right moment to strike.]

[The plane from Stark Tower had begun its takeoff. Mason immediately commanded, "Initiate interception! Move, move!"]

["Oh yeah!" Vulture let out an excited cheer. Activating the thrusters on his mechanical wings, he prepared to chase after the plane, completely unaware of the figure below.]

[The young Spider-Man sprinted forward, launching himself into the air with his webs. At the last second, he latched onto Vulture’s wings and was carried upward with him.]

[The plane’s crew, oblivious to the stowaway, pressed a button. "Reflection panel activated!"]

[A device extended from the belly of the aircraft, projecting an illusion that mimicked the surrounding buildings and sky, causing the entire plane to blend seamlessly into the night.]

[Vulture, flying close behind, locked onto his target. "I see the plane! But I'm feeling some resistance!"]

[Mason dismissed his concern. "Probably just turbulence from the new turbine."]

[Vulture briefly glanced over his shoulder but missed Spider-Man every time. The young hero deftly swung to the opposite side just in time to stay out of sight. Shrugging off the feeling, Vulture continued his pursuit.]

[As he was carried higher and higher, Spider-Man let out an involuntary scream. Luckily, the wind swallowed his voice, keeping Vulture none the wiser.]

[With the plane growing closer, Mason issued another warning. "Watch out for invisible surveillance! Stay in their blind spots!"]

[Vulture increased his speed, positioning himself beneath the aircraft. Spider-Man, gripping his web tightly, slammed into the plane’s exterior but failed to secure a proper hold.]

["Oh my God! Oh my God!" he yelped, barely managing to grab hold before the fierce winds could fling him away.]

[Mason smirked. Finally, the big score he had dreamed of was within reach. "Activate the high-altitude vacuum sealing device!"]

["This thing better work, Mason!" Vulture grumbled as he curled up into a ball. His mechanical wings folded around him, sealing him against the plane’s outer shell.]

["Relax, boss! Even the cargo inside has lifetime insurance, just like us!" Mason reassured him with confidence, certain his design was foolproof.]

[Ignoring Mason’s rambling, Vulture installed the quantum energy cube onto the aircraft’s hull. A shimmering portal materialized, allowing him to step inside.]

[Still clinging to the plane, Spider-Man tried to shoot his web, but the increasing speed sent powerful gusts that kept blowing his webbing away.]

[The force of the wind threatened to rip him off the aircraft entirely. Even when he managed to shoot another web, it failed to secure him.]

[In a last-ditch effort, he latched onto the plane's tail section, escaping the worst of the headwind and narrowly avoiding being blown away.]

"Wait… this is actually an invisible plane?! Damn, Tony Stark is something else!"

"Damn it, Happy! Why did he hang up on Ned?"

"This is bad… I really hope Spider-Man can turn this around!"

Spectators marveled at the aircraft’s technology, while others grumbled over Happy Hogan’s incompetence. But the majority were concerned for Spider-Man’s safety—without a parachute, a fall from this height would be catastrophic.

Meanwhile, Ned, the only one who could have contacted Happy or anyone else for help, had been caught by his teacher. There was no way he was getting out of that situation anytime soon, leaving Spider-Man completely on his own.

Everyone watching couldn't help but feel a deep sense of worry for him.

[Inside the cabin, Vulture made his way toward the cockpit. Mason’s voice crackled over comms, "You’ve got 30 seconds to override their security systems!"]

[Vulture placed a gravity device on the cockpit door and yanked it open, tearing it clean off its hinges.]

[Outside, Spider-Man struggled toward the vacuum sealing device, searching for a way to pry it open.]

[Inside, Vulture had begun seizing control of the plane. Plugging in a data line, he initiated the process to override its transponder signal.]

[Mason monitored the progress. "Deploying the decoy drone now!"]

[Just as Spider-Man was about to make his move, a drone suddenly emerged from the plane’s wing, startling him.]

["Uploading new coordinates," Vulture muttered as he adjusted the plane’s course. The drone, left behind, continued broadcasting the original flight path to deceive air traffic controllers.]

[By the time the authorities noticed the discrepancy, Vulture would have already taken full control of the plane. It was a well-thought-out plan—except they had overlooked one crucial factor: Spider-Man.]

[Back at Stark Industries, Happy Hogan turned to a staff member and asked, "All good? The plane’s on course?"]

["Yes, sir! Flight path is exactly as expected," the technician confirmed, glancing at the live data feed.]

["Great! Everything’s running smoothly," Happy said, nodding in satisfaction as he stood in an empty room, completely unaware of what was happening.]

"Oh, Happy…" Pepper groaned, covering her face in frustration.

"I swear, I’m installing alarms and surveillance on all unmanned aircraft from now on! This is ridiculous!"

Tony Stark’s voice was laced with irritation. The fact that the plane had been hijacked so easily was unacceptable. Even if the quantum energy cube played a role, the lack of real-time monitoring inside the cabin was a glaring issue.

This needed fixing—immediately.

Tony exhaled sharply. Ever since he had started paying attention to Spider-Man, his to-do list had grown exponentially. And every single item on that list was urgent.

Banner, who had been quietly observing Tony’s frustration, finally spoke up. "Maybe we should enhance artificial intelligence security? That might prevent this kind of thing in the future. That little cube is too powerful to leave loopholes like this."

Tony snapped his fingers. "That’s actually a solid idea. Banner, we should simulate all possible outcomes of Ultron’s creation and correct any flaws."

Banner nodded in agreement. They had previously put a stop to all Ultron-related projects out of caution, but now it seemed like a mistake to abandon the idea entirely. They needed a new AI assistant—fast.

Simply relying on J.A.R.V.I.S. was no longer sufficient. The number of automated systems Tony had developed, including long-range combat drones, had grown too large for a single AI to manage efficiently.

Originally, Tony had planned on designing an unmanned Iron Man suit, but Banner had argued that drones were more practical—smaller, faster, and easier to deploy.

As for additional long-range support and backup armor? That would have to wait until they could refine their technology further.

Chapter 302: "Battle in the Skies"

[Unnoticed by Vulture, Spider-Man clung to the exterior of the plane, struggling to pry open the vacuum-sealed hatch.]

[Inside, Vulture removed his helmet and surveyed the massive cargo crates before him, a smug grin spreading across his face.]

["Wow!" He had expected a big haul, but this was beyond his imagination.]

[He randomly opened a few crates and was stunned to find technology he could have never dreamed of—boxes full of Ark Reactors, high-tech weapons, and even components from Iron Man suits.]

[Vulture picked up a Mark Armor helmet, curled his lip in disdain, and tossed it aside.]

[Outside, Spider-Man braced his legs against the vacuum seal and pushed with all his might. After relentless effort, the hatch finally budged open slightly.]

[A rush of air instantly sucked out of the cabin, setting off loud alarms. Vulture spun toward the cockpit in alarm, only to realize that Spider-Man was once again sabotaging his plans.]

[Seeing his heist being jeopardized, Vulture roared in frustration. Just as Spider-Man continued to force the hatch open, Vulture’s mechanical wings suddenly extended, knocking him back.]

[Spider-Man quickly scrambled up the side of the plane, while Vulture circled around on the other side. Reaching the door, the young hero muttered to himself.]

["It’s just a normal back-to-school season! Except now it’s taking place on an invisible plane! Ah—!" Before he could finish, a gust of wind nearly knocked him off, forcing him to grip the fuselage tightly.]

[Leaning against the aircraft, he continued to mumble. "And to top it all off, I’m fighting my girlfriend’s dad!"]

"If you wanna marry the girl, you gotta fight the father-in-law! Hahaha!"

Second-Gen Gwen chuckled at Spider-Man’s words before glancing at Second-Gen Spider-Man.

She still remembered how he had fought her father, George Stacy, and even knocked him to the ground.

Second-Gen Spider-Man scratched his head with an awkward smile. "That... that wasn’t on purpose!"

George, chewing on a piece of fish, grumbled. "Yeah? Well, your fans didn’t see it that way!"

He still hadn’t forgotten how his police station had been swarmed by Spider-Man fanatics after that incident.

Helen rolled her eyes at George, unimpressed with his grudge. "Oh, drop it. You’re just embarrassed you lost to a kid."

"Yeah, yeah, I get it," Second-Gen Spider-Man said with a shrug, taking it in stride.

[While Spider-Man was still muttering to himself, Vulture suddenly charged at him. Reacting fast, Spider-Man fired a web, ducking just in time to evade the attack.]

[Vulture’s wing scraped against the side of the plane, leaving a long gash that sparked violently. Spider-Man, yanked by his own web, was thrown into the air.]

[Thinking fast, he shot another web to attach to the plane, using it to pull Vulture back and restrict his movements.]

[However, the section of the plane’s outer wall where the web was attached gave way, breaking off entirely. At the same time, Vulture sliced through the webbing with his talons, leaving them both suspended in mid-air.]

[The aircraft loomed toward them at high speed. Seeing it approach, Spider-Man’s eyes widened in horror. "Oh, help!!!"]

[Acting on instinct, he shot several webs at the plane’s engine just as it reached him. The engine sucked in the webbing, slowing the impact—but it also dragged Spider-Man along with it.]

[Vulture, caught in the chaos, got one of his wings stuck in the engine. He struggled to free himself, but his thrashing only caused irreversible damage to the turbine.]

[Spider-Man, tangled in the now-disabled engine, let out a relieved sigh. "Phew! That actually worked!"]

[But before he could celebrate, the entire engine detached from the wing. Luckily, a strand of webbing stuck to it, preventing Spider-Man from plummeting immediately.]

[He quickly reached out, grabbed onto the plane’s fuselage, and kicked the engine away with several strong kicks before climbing back up.]

[Vulture, having regained control, resumed his attack, speeding toward the aircraft once more. Spider-Man turned to see him coming and barely dodged the razor-sharp wings.]

[A fresh tear split open the top of the plane. Spider-Man nearly lost his footing, nearly tumbling toward the high-speed turbines below.]

[He struggled to steady himself, but Vulture came at him again, forcing him to retreat while clinging onto the aircraft for dear life.]

[When Vulture attacked, he drove his wings into the fuselage for stability, then used their momentum to launch rapid, powerful strikes.]

[Spider-Man tried sticking to the fuselage with his webs, but Vulture swiftly cut through them. Thrown backward, he narrowly avoided being sucked into the remaining engine.]

[Instead, he slammed into the engine compartment. Recovering quickly, he fired another web and dangled from the back of the plane.]

["Boss, the plane’s going down! Get out of there!" Mason warned.]

[But Vulture, consumed by greed, refused to abandon his prize. Seeing the treasures inside, he snarled, "I’m not leaving empty-handed!"]

[He drove his wings deep into the fuselage, tearing open another gaping hole. The plane dipped lower and lower as Spider-Man finally managed to climb back on top.]

["Oh… my… God!" The young hero’s stomach lurched as he realized the aircraft was heading straight for the city. His heart pounded in panic.]

[Thinking fast, he spotted the plane’s wing and shot his web, pulling with all his might to change its trajectory.]

[Inside, Vulture finally broke through and laid eyes on a massive crate full of Ark Reactors. Mason, seeing that he was still looting, yelled in frustration, "What the hell are you doing?! Get out of there!"]

[Spider-Man gritted his teeth, tugging desperately at the web. "Come on! Turn, turn, turn!"]

[The plane, now critically damaged, lost its stealth capabilities as its systems failed one by one. Spider-Man’s effort put too much strain on his web, causing it to snap, sending him tumbling backward.]

[Vulture, still attempting to grab a crate, was caught in the sudden destabilization and was unable to lift it.]

[At Stark Tower, Happy Hogan, casually seated with his legs crossed, noticed a faint glimmer in the distance. He suddenly sat upright, staring at the approaching aircraft.]

[The plane, descending rapidly, clipped a building before crashing onto a beach. The impact sent debris flying, completely obliterating a nearby house.]

[The wreckage skidded across the sand, sparks and flames erupting along its path. Spider-Man and Vulture were both hurled from the impact.]

[As the camera zoomed out, the entire beach was shown, engulfed in fire, smoke, and scattered debris—marking the violent end of their mid-air battle.]

Chapter 303: "Vulture's Fall"

"How greedy can you be, Toomes? Are you really willing to sacrifice your life for those things?"

"Is Peter Parker okay?"

"This is way too dangerous! The plane could have crashed at any moment!"

"I thought Spider-Man was done for! Thank God he was smart enough to stop the engine with his webs!"

The audience buzzed with mixed emotions. Some were appalled by Vulture's obsession with money, while many more were deeply concerned about Spider-Man’s safety.

Tony Stark watched in frustration, shaking his head at the glaring flaws in his own security systems.

How had his future self let something like this happen? The plane was packed with advanced Stark technology, yet its most crucial safety measures were practically nonexistent. No alarms had sounded when the cabin was breached, and external damage had gone unnoticed. Worst of all, the aircraft's system had been hacked in under thirty seconds.

This was an unacceptable oversight.

[Amid the smoke and dust, Spider-Man lay sprawled on the ground. His body ached from the crash, and a high-pitched ringing echoed in his ears. He reached up, lifted his mask slightly, and exhaled sharply.]

[Using his arms for support, he tried to push himself up—but before he could steady himself, Vulture charged at him, sending him flying with a devastating blow.]

[But Toomes wasn’t in great shape either. Although he had knocked Spider-Man away, he himself stumbled to the ground. Sparks flickered from his mechanical wings, clear signs of internal damage.]

["Hey! Pedro!" Vulture snarled, lunging toward Spider-Man again.]

[Spider-Man rolled away just in time, barely dodging his attack. Jumping to his feet, he fired a web at Toomes, but the villain sidestepped and stomped down hard, pinning him in place.]

["Ahhh!!!" Spider-Man cried out as Vulture took advantage of the moment, raising his mechanical fist and slamming it into Spider-Man's face.]

[After taking several blows, Spider-Man finally reacted. Gritting his teeth, he grabbed hold of Vulture’s fist with both hands. But Toomes smirked, yanked him up, and tossed him into the air.]

[As Spider-Man struggled to free himself mid-air, he suddenly noticed a sharp metal spike waiting below him.]

[Thinking fast, he shot a web at Vulture’s feet, pulling himself upward and avoiding the spike just in time. Using the momentum, he swung forward and delivered a powerful kick to Toomes' chest.]

[The impact propelled Spider-Man higher, allowing him to momentarily gain the upper hand. As he descended, he grabbed onto Vulture, trying to take him down with him.]

[But Toomes reacted quickly, twisting mid-air and flinging Spider-Man away.]

[Before Spider-Man could recover, Vulture slammed down on his back, pinning him to the ground. Then, gripping the young hero’s suit, he ruthlessly swung him back and forth, slamming him against the dirt.]

[Groaning in pain, Spider-Man flipped onto his back, only to see Vulture looming over him. With a swift motion, Toomes drove one of his metal wings into Spider-Man’s hood, lifting him into the air.]

[But instead of finishing him off, Vulture’s attention shifted to something else. Behind Spider-Man lay a large metal crate. His eyes gleamed with greed.]

["Bingo," Toomes muttered, tossing Spider-Man aside like discarded trash.]

[Removing his helmet, he turned toward the crate, oblivious to the increasing sparks erupting from his wings.]

[Still sprawled on the ground, Spider-Man weakly lifted his head. His eyes widened as he spotted the growing malfunctions in Vulture’s flight suit. "Your wings! They’re about to explode!"]

[But Toomes ignored the warning. He was determined to take off with his prize. Seeing this, Spider-Man gritted his teeth and, despite his injuries, shot a web at the crate, trying to hold it back and prevent Vulture from leaving.]

[Toomes turned and glared at him. "It’s time to go home, Peter."]

[Spider-Man yelled back, "I’m trying to save you!"]

[But Toomes didn’t listen. He sliced through the webbing with his wings. "NO!" Spider-Man shouted as he lost his grip and collapsed to the ground. He attempted to fire another web, but his shooter had run out of fluid.]

[Helpless, he could only watch as Toomes ascended—until the inevitable happened.]

[Mid-flight, his mechanical wings erupted into flames. The damage was too severe. Explosion after explosion tore through the suit, and within seconds, Vulture lost control.]

[With a final, fiery burst, he plummeted back to the ground, crashing hard as a small explosion followed.]

["NO!" Spider-Man cried out. Despite everything, he rushed toward the wreckage, ignoring the searing pain in his body.]

[He reached Toomes and struggled to lift the heavy, burning wings off of him. The heat scorched his hands, but he didn’t hesitate for a second.]

[With one last push, he threw the damaged wings aside and dragged Toomes away from the fire.]

[In the glow of the burning wreckage, Spider-Man gently laid Toomes on the ground before collapsing beside him, completely exhausted.]

[Toomes turned his head slightly, looking at Spider-Man with complicated emotions. He hadn’t expected the young hero to save him after everything they’d been through.]

[After catching his breath, Spider-Man slowly stood up, gripping his injured shoulder. He looked down at the defeated Vulture before glancing around at the chaotic scene.]

[The camera shifted, revealing the arrival of the Damage Control Department. Happy Hogan ran onto the beach, shining a flashlight, until his eyes landed on Toomes—tied up neatly in webbing.]

[Beside him lay a note that read: Found a flying vulture guy – Spider-Man.]

[At the bottom, a scribbled PS read: Sorry for breaking your plane.]

[Meanwhile, Spider-Man perched atop an old roller coaster, watching as fire trucks rushed toward the wreckage. He took a deep breath and leaned back, quietly resting in the night breeze.]

"As expected of Peter Parker! Even after everything, he didn’t abandon his enemy."

"Toomes didn’t even remember his name, but Peter still saved him."

"Well, he is Liz’s father… I bet he didn’t want her to suffer the loss."

"Wait, where the hell is Tony Stark? Does he even know what’s happening? What’s he doing?!"

As the broadcast continued, discussions erupted everywhere.

At the Avengers compound, Rhodey shook his head with a sigh. "Peter is great in every way, but sometimes he’s too good-hearted."

Banner smiled slightly. "That’s what makes him Peter, isn’t it?"

"Okay, fair point," Rhodey admitted with a shrug.

Pepper turned to Happy. "You should really be thanking Peter right now."

"Yeah, no doubt about that," Happy agreed, nodding sincerely.

[Back at school, students were taking down decorations from the Homecoming dance. Peter and Ned walked side by side.]

["That was insane! The whole thing! It was just crazy!" Ned waved his hands dramatically. "He was going swoosh swoosh like that! And you were like Aaaah! all the time! And then I was just—swoosh swoosh—shooting him like crazy!"]

[Ned recounted last night’s events with wide eyes, still unable to fully process what had happened. "It was just... Oh. My. God!"]

["You saved me, dude! That was awesome!" Peter chuckled, looking down. Ned patted his shoulder with a grin.]

Chapter 304: "Awkward Encounters"

[As they continued walking, Peter spotted Doris carrying Liz's belongings. Ahead, Liz and Betty hugged each other, with the school principal following closely behind.]

[Quickly jogging up, Peter called out, "Hey! Liz!"]

[But Liz barely acknowledged him. When he called again, she turned her head away.]

[Undeterred, Peter stepped closer. "Liz, I’m so sorry!"]

[Liz furrowed her brows, finally looking at him. "You’ve said sorry so many times. What are you apologizing for this time? The dance? That was really rude, by the way."]

[Peter hesitated before replying, "Well… yeah! But—I mean, your dad. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. If there’s anything I can do to help—"]

["I think we’re moving to Oregon," Liz interrupted, lowering her head. "Mom said it’s a nice place, so that’s okay… Anyway, Dad doesn’t want us here during the trial. So…"]

[She refused to look at Peter. At this moment, she had no interest in seeing him.]

[Peter pursed his lips. "Liz, I... I…" But the words stuck in his throat. He didn’t know what to say.]

["Goodbye, Peter." Liz’s voice was calm but firm. "Whatever you're dealing with, I hope you figure it out."]

[With that, she turned and walked away, leaving Peter standing there, stunned, watching her disappear from his life.]

"Poor Peter, he just got a girlfriend, and now he’s forced to break up!" First-Gen Uncle Ben sighed with sympathy.

"He agreed to take her to the dance, and then he broke his promise again. No wonder she didn’t want to see him," Aunt May lamented. "He keeps disappointing her—just like our Peter used to."

It seemed that Spider-Man’s love life was destined to be rocky, no matter the universe. Even Second-Gen Peter and Gwen had been separated by tragedy in the end.

"Toomes probably doesn’t want his family getting involved with Spider-Man," Steve Rogers commented. "It makes sense. He wants to keep them away from danger."

"Yeah, exactly, Cap!" Scott Lang nodded. As a father himself, he understood Toomes' decision. If he were in that situation, he wouldn’t want his daughter anywhere near something this dangerous.

[In the classroom, Mr. Harrington placed the championship trophy on the table. "Congratulations, everyone! We are the National Decathlon Champions!"]

[He led the applause, and the students enthusiastically clapped along.]

["I’ll have to put this back in the display case soon, but for now, let’s just enjoy the moment. This is a great motivation for all of you! I may be slightly better than everyone else—"] He chuckled. "—but we need a new team leader for next year."]

["So… I now appoint Michelle as the new team leader!" At first, everyone looked surprised, but then they broke into applause. "Yeah!"]

[Michelle Jones smirked. "Uh… Thanks, everyone! My friends all call me MJ."]

[Ned, ever tactless, blurted out, "I thought you didn’t have any friends?"]

[Michelle Jones hesitated for a moment before responding, "I didn’t… before."]

[At that moment, Peter’s phone buzzed. Checking the message, he saw it was from Happy: "I need to see you."]

[Michelle Jones frowned at his sudden distraction and asked, "Hey! Where are you always sneaking off to, Peter? What are you hiding?"]

[Spider-Man hesitated, struggling to come up with an excuse. But before he could speak, Michelle Jones smirked and rescued him. "Relax, I’m just messing with you. I don’t care. Bye!"]

[She turned to the rest of the class. "Alright, let’s get started on some practice." She played it cool, but her eyes briefly flicked back toward Peter as he left.]

[Peter made his way to the school bathroom, where Happy was waiting for him. Upon seeing him, Peter raised an eyebrow. "Hey, Happy… What are you doing here?"]

["I really owe you one, kid," Happy said earnestly. "I don’t even know what I’d do without this job. I mean, before I met Tony—"]

[Before he could finish his sentence, the sound of a toilet flushing echoed through the room. The air grew awkwardly silent.]

[Happy blinked. Spider-Man’s eyes darted to the stall. Neither spoke.]

[A student emerged from the stall, eyeing the two of them with an odd expression. He walked to the sink, washed his hands, and then glanced back at them one more time before leaving.]

[Both Happy and Peter stood there in silence.]

[Finally, Peter broke the tension. "So, uh… How long have you been waiting here?"]

[Happy sighed, his enthusiasm completely deflated. "Long enough to make it really awkward, alright?"]

["Boss wants to see you," he added quickly, moving toward the exit.]

[Peter pointed at the stall and whispered, "Wait… Is he in there too?"]

["The bathroom? No! He’s upstate!" Happy shot back, rolling his eyes before marching out.]

[Spider-Man, still trying to process it, muttered under his breath, "Upstate? Upstate? Upstate?"]

["Yeah! Now let’s go!" Happy called over his shoulder.]

"Wow, Happy is hilarious!" George burst out laughing.

"They just froze the second they heard that flush! Haha! Oh my God, I can’t breathe!" Second-Gen Gwen clutched at Second-Gen Peter’s arm, struggling to contain her laughter.

"Yeah! That was actually really funny!" Second-Gen Peter admitted with a chuckle.

Especially the look that student had given them—it practically screamed, What the hell are you two doing in a school bathroom together?

Happy, watching this unfold, covered his face in shame. He wished he could disappear. That look the student gave him would haunt him forever.

Meanwhile, Mary Jane sat watching with a peculiar expression. Seeing this MJ from 3rd Spider-Man’s world surprised her. She hadn’t expected her counterpart to be so different…

Chapter 305: "Tony Gets Rejected"

[In the northern part of the state, Happy stood outside the newly renovated Avengers headquarters, looking up in admiration. "Pretty impressive, huh?" he said to Spider-Man. "They just redid the entire building!"]

[The camera zoomed out, revealing the massive facility, as a sleek fighter jet prepared for takeoff in the distance.]

[Inside an elevator, Spider-Man sat beside Happy, staring at the jet as it soared into the sky, his mind lost in thought. Happy tilted his head and smirked. "Not something you see every day, huh?"]

[At that moment, Tony Stark approached, hands casually tucked into his pockets. "Oh! There you are! How was the trip?"]

["Very good!" Happy nodded.]

[Tony shot Happy a glance. "Give us a minute, will you?"]

[Happy blinked. "Seriously?"]

["Yeah," Tony insisted. "I need to talk to the kid."]

[Happy hesitated, then sighed. "Fine. But I'm staying close!"]

["How about you keep your distance? Ever heard of 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'?" Tony teased before turning to Spider-Man, giving him a playful punch on the arm.]

[Patting his shoulder, Tony continued, "Look, I’m sorry I took your suit. But hey, you kinda asked for it. Turns out that was exactly the tough love you needed, right?"]

["It gave you motivation to do better, didn’t it? Right?" He draped an arm around Spider-Man and guided him forward.]

["I think—" Peter started, but Tony cut him off.]

["Exactly!" Tony nodded. Then, letting out a small sigh, he added, "You made a mess before. A big one. But you turned it around. You took those strays to the free clinic and raised them like good little pups—okay, bad analogy."]

[Tony pointed at him, "I misjudged you. But with the right guidance, I think you’d be really valuable to the team."]

[He patted Peter back again. That’s when the realization hit.]

["Team…?" Spider-Man asked hesitantly. "Team?"]

["That’s right! Anyway, there are about fifty reporters behind that door. Real reporters, not bloggers!" Tony tapped his watch.]

[As the wall in front of them slid open, a brand-new Iron Spider Armor slowly rose from the platform.]

["When you’re ready, suit up!" Tony grinned. "Then I’ll introduce the world to the newest official member of the Avengers: Spider-Man!"]

[Spider-Man’s eyes widened at the sight of the high-tech armor. He was speechless. "I… heh…" He stammered, overwhelmed with excitement, unable to find the right words.]

"Cool! This isn’t just a suit—this is full-on battle armor!" Second-Gen Spider-Man stared at the Iron Spider armor in pure envy.

"Yeah! I want one too…" Gwen muttered. The sheer level of tech packed into Spider-Man’s gear was impressive, and this was an upgrade beyond anything they had seen.

"We need to step up our game," Second-Gen Spider-Man sighed. He had already been studying multiple fields at once, consulting top experts to improve his own tech. Now, seeing this, he was more determined than ever to build a battle suit of his own.

Tony Stark, watching the broadcast, immediately asked J.A.R.V.I.S. to log every detail of the Iron Spider armor. He wasn’t sure of its full capabilities yet, but it was definitely something worth analyzing.

First-Gen Spider-Man also felt a tinge of envy. He had never had someone like Tony backing him. Sure, his best friend Harry Osborn had supported him, but Harry wasn’t a scientist. Maybe it was time to team up with Dr. Otto and Dr. Connors to develop something new, with Harry funding the project.

[“Yeah! Take a good look,” Tony said with a confident smile. He was certain Spider-Man would accept the offer.]

[Turning to Happy, Tony continued, "After the press conference, Happy will take you to check out your dorm room! He’s staying next to Vision, right?"]

[Happy nodded. "Yeah. Vision’s not a fan of doors or walls, though."]

["Oh, great, you two will get along just fine!" Tony joked.]

[But Spider-Man’s expression changed as he listened. He realized that being an Avenger meant leaving home—leaving Aunt May, Ned, and everything familiar behind.]

[After a long pause, he finally spoke. "Thank you, Mr. Stark, but I… I think I should pass."]

[Tony’s brows furrowed. "Pass? What do you mean, pass?"]

["I mean… I think I should stay grounded. Be the friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man. Someone needs to look out for the little guy, right?" Spider-Man smiled, but there was conviction in his voice.]

[Tony removed his sunglasses and studied him. "You’re rejecting me? Think carefully. Look at that suit. Look at me. I’m asking you one last time. Yes or no?"]

[Spider-Man didn’t hesitate. "No."]

[Tony exhaled, shaking his head. "You really have that whole ‘working-class hero’ thing going for you, huh? Well… I respect it. Happy will take you home. Sound good?"]

[Spider-Man nodded. "Yeah. Thanks, Mr. Stark."]

[Tony had expected him to say yes. He glanced at Happy, silently hoping he would refuse to drive the kid home. But to his surprise, Happy immediately said, "No problem! Just wait in the car, I’ll be right there."]

["Thanks again, Mr. Stark," Spider-Man said, shaking his hand.]

["You’re welcome, Mr. Parker. You’re welcome."]

[As Spider-Man turned to leave, he hesitated and suddenly spun back around. "That was a test, wasn’t it? There aren’t actually any reporters behind that door, right?"]

[Tony clasped his hands behind his back and smirked. "Yeah. You passed. Now go on, get outta here, you little rascal."]

[As Spider-Man ran off, Tony turned back toward Happy, watching the kid disappear with a complicated expression.]

["Told you he was a good kid," Happy said with a knowing smile.]

[Tony didn’t say anything. He simply spread his hands and gave a small clap. At that moment, he truly liked Peter. In fact, he had started thinking… maybe one day, Peter Parker could be his successor.]
