[Reborn as Son Goten] Chapter 211 - 215
Added 2025-01-08 01:00:02 +0000 UTCChapter 211: Demigra
A radiant blue box suddenly materialized in Aeos's right hand. Its shimmering aura pulsed with an ethereal energy.
"This is the Box of Time," Aeos announced, her voice echoing with authority. "Let's keep the rules simple!"
As she spoke, the timeline scrolls stored on the towering bookshelves around her vibrated violently before flying off their shelves. Each scroll emitted a faint glow, filling the room with a kaleidoscope of colors. Aeos opened the Box of Time, and the scrolls disintegrated into shimmering purple particles, flowing like a river into the box. Once the last particle entered, the box sealed itself with an audible click.
Chronoa gritted her teeth, her frustration evident. her clenched fists trembled as she glared at Aeos.
"All the timeline scrolls are now secured here!" Aeos declared, her tone unyielding. She snapped her fingers, and in an instant, the grandeur of the palace dissolved around them. They reappeared in an open courtyard under a crimson-tinged sky.
Chronoa surveyed her surroundings warily before raising her hand. her energy flickered, golden sparks crackling around her. "After this battle, if you still dare to hinder me, I won’t hold back!"
Aeos smirked, her eyes narrowing. "We’ll see about that." She opened her arms wide, and a ring of purple light materialized beneath her feet. The light spiraled upward, forming a massive column that engulfed her. Her body lifted from the ground, suspended mid-air as rocks and debris around her began to levitate, caught in the surge of her energy.
"Liberation!" she roared.
In a blinding flash, Aeos underwent a transformation. Her short hair extended into long flowing locks, and her frame grew larger and more imposing. A shimmering purple halo of time appeared behind her, radiating a powerful aura.
Chronoa raised an eyebrow, her golden aura intensifying. "Oh? Then I’ll respond in kind." Golden Ki burst from her body, and her short hair lengthened, cascading down her shoulders. Her body expanded with divine energy, and a brilliant golden halo of time manifested behind her. "But understand this—I’m not here to fight. I’m here to stop you!"
Aeos tilted her head, smirking. "That’s your problem, Chronoa. You talk, but your resolve wavers. My conclusion has remained the same for millennia. The extra timelines must be eradicated. Only one will survive!"
With a swift motion, Aeos raised her right hand. The purple halo behind her began to shift, turning into a deep, vivid blue, and it expanded massively. She pointed her index finger forward, summoning a concentrated burst of purple energy.
"Judgment of Time!" she bellowed.
The energy wave surged from her finger like a serpentine dragon, aimed directly at Chronoa. Without hesitation, Chronoa extended both hands, summoning a protective barrier. The wave crashed against her shield with immense force.
"Listen to me!" Chronoa shouted over the roaring energy. "I understand the danger posed by the proliferation of timelines. But unlike you, I believe in the possibilities these timelines hold. That belief is my strength!"
Gritting her teeth, Aeos pushed harder, the purple energy growing denser and more ferocious. "Then let this strength of yours withstand the weight of my judgment!"
The energy dragon exploded against Chronoa’s shield, sending her hurtling toward the ground. A deafening boom echoed as she crashed, a plume of black smoke rising from the impact.
Aeos descended, her feet touching the scorched earth. "Stay down. This ends now," she said coldly. Raising her finger, she began forming another orb of energy. "Freeze!"
Before the attack could be unleashed, two figures appeared in a brilliant flash of light. It was Gohan and Goten, their expressions resolute.
"Are you okay?" Gohan asked as he rushed to Chronoa’s side.
Chronoa chuckled weakly. "Fine might be a stretch," she said, wincing. "But I’ll survive."
Aeos turned her attention to the newcomers, her expression intrigued. "Ah, so you two must be the fabled ‘possibilities.’ Interesting."
Goten stepped forward. "Lord Kaioshin, we can’t let you destroy the other timelines!"
"And why not?" Aeos asked, a smirk playing on her lips. "Don’t you have the resolve to secure victory at all costs?"
"It’s not about victory," Goten replied firmly. "If you destroy the timelines, both mortals and gods will perish. As a mortal, I can’t stand by and let that happen!"
Aeos chuckled softly. "You’re a fascinating mortal, Goten, but your reasoning isn’t enough to sway me. I have a mission to complete." She raised her hand again, forming another wave of energy. "Freeze!"
As the purple wave shot forward, Goten’s body shifted. He entered Ultra Instinct, his movements flowing like water. In an instant, he reappeared behind Aeos.
Aeos spun, her elbow striking backward in a blur. Goten caught her attack effortlessly, his hand gripping her elbow like iron. "Such speed," Aeos muttered, her eyes narrowing. "Is this some secret technique of yours?"
Goten smiled but remained silent.
Aeos growled, leaping back into the air. She fired a barrage of purple energy blasts, but Goten dodged with ease, weaving through the attacks like a phantom. "I’ve had enough of your games!" Goten declared, appearing beside her in a flash. His elbow struck her back with devastating force.
Aeos screamed, her body plummeting to the ground. Before she could recover, a massive fireball descended from the sky, heading straight for Chronoa. Gohan prepared to intervene, but Goten acted first, scooping Chronoa into his arms and whisking her away in a blur of motion.
The fireball crashed into the ground, unleashing a blinding explosion. Its light illuminated the battlefield, visible even to Vegeta and the others fighting in the distance.
As the smoke cleared, a figure emerged—a man with blue-green skin and fiery red hair. He wore an elegant blue suit and wielded a staff crowned with a glowing crystal. His aura exuded menace and power.
Aeos’s eyes widened. "You…" she whispered.
Chapter 212: One Star Dragon vs. Gogeta
"The Devil Demigra!" Chronoa exclaimed, her voice trembling as she stared at the formidable figure before her.
Demigra let out a sinister laugh, his fiery red hair flowing like a raging inferno. With his left hand, he produced a radiant blue box—the Box of Time. Its pulsating energy sent chills through the air.
"I’ve finally acquired the power to control all timelines!" he declared triumphantly.
Aeos, battered and bruised, staggered to her feet. Her determined gaze locked onto the box in Demigra’s grasp. "That power is beyond your control! Return it to me!"
Demigra sneered, ignoring her demand. He turned his attention toward the weakened Aeos and Chronoa, his smirk widening. "I’ve been waiting for this moment. With your powers diminished, nothing can stop me. Listen closely—from now on, the reign of the new Dark King Demigra begins!"
He raised the Box of Time high above his head. "Emerge, scrolls of time! Summon forth the evil entities of alternate timelines! Let us restore the natural order of chaos!"
The box sprang open, unleashing an intense burst of purple light that pierced the heavens. The dazzling beam split into ten rays, scattering in all directions.
"What… what is that?" Chronoa asked, shielding her eyes.
Gohan’s expression darkened as he observed the ominous glow. "That’s the ultimate evil energy… it’s summoning unimaginable destruction."
As the group stood in shock, a black miasma descended from the sky, coalescing into the form of a Super One-Star Dragon. Its ebony scales glistened ominously, and its crimson eyes burned with malice.
"We shall annihilate all mortals and gods across every timeline!" the dragon growled. "A dark age of eternal fear will rise, and I will revel in the despair etched across your faces!"
Goten scoffed, stepping forward. "Just you? That’s laughable."
Demigra’s smirk faded as his fists clenched. "You insolent brat…!"
Before Demigra could retaliate, the One-Star Dragon intervened, his deep voice echoing with rage. "Let me handle this. I will destroy them myself!"
Demigra hesitated before nodding. "Very well."
"RAAAHH!" One-Star Dragon roared, his body erupting with fiery red energy. The ground trembled beneath the force of his power.
"What incredible energy!" Gohan gasped, taking a step back.
"You’re still the same loathsome nightmare," the dragon growled, glaring at Goten. "I’ll crush you to pieces this time!" He extended his arms, a massive crimson sphere of energy forming between his hands. "Take this!"
With a furious shout, the One-Star Dragon hurled the energy ball toward Goten. Before Goten could react, a golden light flashed across the battlefield, neutralizing the attack in an instant.
As the light faded, a figure emerged—his red hair shimmering under the sunlight, his confident smirk unmistakable. It was Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, clad in his signature black vest, radiating unparalleled power.
When the One-Star Dragon recognized him, rage overtook his features. "You again! You dared to humiliate me before, but this time will be different!"
Gogeta chuckled, folding his arms. "Ah, it’s good to see you too, Syn Shenron. Ready for round two?"
"You arrogant fool!" Syn Shenron roared, his aura flaring with renewed fury.
The One-Star Dragon lunged at Gogeta with blinding speed. Just as he closed in, Gogeta raised a single finger, unleashing a burst of energy that sent the dragon hurtling backward. The ground quaked as Syn Shenron crashed, raising a dense cloud of dust.
Despite the blow, the One-Star Dragon quickly recovered, his determination unshaken. He charged again, launching a flurry of ferocious attacks. Yet Gogeta weaved through them effortlessly, his movements a graceful dance of precision and power.
Leaping into the air, Gogeta anticipated Syn Shenron’s counter. The dragon twisted mid-flight, only for Gogeta to appear before him, his right index finger pressing firmly against Syn Shenron’s forehead. With a swift push, the dragon’s body was propelled back like a bullet, slamming into a massive boulder.
"How’s that for a warm-up?" Gogeta teased.
Enraged, Syn Shenron roared and retaliated, releasing a barrage of red energy blasts from his fingertips. The projectiles rained down on Gogeta in rapid succession, erupting into violent explosions upon impact.
As the smoke cleared, Gogeta stood unscathed, brushing dust from his shoulder. "You call that an attack? It’s good for a shoulder massage at best!"
Syn Shenron’s rage boiled over. "You dare mock me again?!" he bellowed, his Ki surging explosively.
The seven red dragon balls embedded in Syn Shenron’s chest began to glow ominously, radiating streams of purple light. These streams converged into a massive purple-red energy sphere hovering high above.
"I’ll destroy you once and for all!" Syn Shenron declared, his voice trembling with fury.
Gogeta, unfazed, extended his arms forward, gathering an immense blue energy wave between his hands. "This ends now!" he shouted. "BIG BANG KAMEHAMEHA!"
The two colossal energy attacks collided in the sky, creating a dazzling display of power. The battlefield trembled as the shockwaves rippled across the terrain. Slowly but surely, Gogeta’s Super Kamehameha overwhelmed Syn Shenron’s attack, breaking through and engulfing the dragon in a blinding light.
"AAAHHHH!!!" Syn Shenron’s agonized scream echoed as his body was launched into the heavens like a meteor. A deafening explosion followed, and when the light faded, the One-Star Dragon was no more.
Gogeta exhaled deeply, his senses scanning the area. The dragon’s Ki had vanished. "It’s over," he said with a hint of relief.
However, Demigra’s expression darkened as he watched the scene unfold. A sinister grin spread across his face. "Impressive," he muttered. "But this is far from the end."
Raising his arms skyward, Demigra summoned a torrent of purple energy, which spiraled into the heavens. "The despair has only just begun. Let’s see how you handle what comes next!"
Chapter 213: The End of the Trans-Timeline Elimination Tournament
The lush, grassy terrain shimmered briefly before vanishing, transforming into a barren wasteland. The sudden shift in the environment startled even the seasoned fighters.
"Did you manipulate space itself?" Aeos asked, her voice edged with disbelief as she turned to Demigra.
At the same time, the area where Goku and his allies stood underwent a similar transformation, becoming a desolate wasteland under a darkened sky. A thick black mist descended, enveloping the battlefield. From the swirling fog emerged figures from the past—Frieza's ancestor, Chilled, and countless other demons and villains once vanquished by the Time Patrol.
"Ahhhh!" Chilled roared, his blood-red Ki surging outward in a terrifying display of power. His eyes glowed crimson, exuding pure malice. The other demons and villains followed suit, releasing torrents of blood-red energy that crackled ominously in the air.
Goku, Gohan, and the others immediately readied themselves for battle, their postures tense and resolute.
"Everyone, stay united and focus on survival," Chronoa urged, her voice steady despite the growing danger.
Demigra chuckled darkly, his voice dripping with mockery. "How amusing. Even now, you waste energy worrying about others instead of accepting your doom!"
With those words, he clenched his fists, releasing a surge of blood-red Ki that spread across the battlefield like an ominous tide. The oppressive energy forced the group to steady themselves.
Goten, however, stood calm and motionless amidst the chaos, his aura serene yet unyielding.
Demigra's strength had grown exponentially, augmented by the dark energy left behind by Mechikabura. His confidence swelled as he sneered at his opponents. "You should tremble before me. I’ve surpassed every limit. None of you can stand against me now."
"Enough talk!" Aeos roared, her resolve igniting. A radiant halo of time appeared behind her as she prepared to join the fray.
Before she could act, Goten stepped forward, his expression calm yet firm. "Lord Kaioshin, let me handle this."
Aeos hesitated, glancing at Goten with uncertainty. "You… you truly believe you can defeat him?"
Goten chuckled. "Do you doubt my strength? Trust me—he’s mine."
Reluctantly, Aeos retracted her power, the time halo behind her fading into nothingness. "Fine," she said, stepping back. "But don’t underestimate him."
Demigra’s eyes narrowed as he focused on Goten. "So, you’re the one who thinks you can stop me?" he sneered. "You’ll regret this arrogance."
Before Demigra could act, Goten vanished in a blur of motion, reappearing behind him. Startled, Demigra swung his right arm backward in a wide arc, but Goten effortlessly sidestepped and reappeared in front of him. Without hesitation, Goten delivered a devastating uppercut to Demigra's chin, launching him skyward.
The speed of Goten's attack left even Aeos and Chronoa stunned. "What… what just happened?" Aeos murmured, unable to follow his movements.
In the air, Goten didn’t relent. He unleashed a relentless barrage of punches, each blow landing with the force of a meteor. "Ahhhh!!!" Demigra screamed as he struggled to defend himself. Goten's right fist connected with Demigra’s face, sending him hurtling across the battlefield like a streak of light.
Demigra managed to halt his momentum, hovering mid-air as he clenched his fists in frustration. "This is impossible!" he roared. "With the Dark Factor and the Power of Time, I should be invincible!"
"The strongest?" Goten smirked, his tone mocking. "Don’t kid yourself, Demigra. You’re nothing but a big fish in a small pond. You couldn’t even challenge a God of Destruction."
"How dare you!" Demigra’s rage erupted, his aura flaring wildly.
Goten’s expression turned serious. "Enough games. It’s time to end this."
In an instant, Goten appeared behind Demigra, his right hand glowing with a condensed sphere of Hakai energy. "Destroy," Goten declared, his voice resolute.
Demigra’s eyes widened in terror. "No!!!" he screamed as his body began to dissolve into nothingness. Despite his protests and desperation, the Hakai’s power was absolute. Piece by piece, Demigra’s form vanished into oblivion until only the Box of Time remained, clattering to the ground.
Goten caught the box with ease, his gaze calm. He turned to Aeos and Chronoa, who immediately approached him.
"Give me the Box of Time!" Aeos demanded.
"No, it’s mine!" Chronoa countered, glaring at Aeos.
The two began bickering over the artifact, their heated argument filling the air.
"Lord Kaioshin," Goten interrupted, "how does this box even work?"
"What are you planning to do?" Chronoa asked suspiciously.
Goten grinned. "Well, since I’m holding it, why don’t I just take over as the new Kaioshin of Time?"
"You want to become the ruler of timelines?" Chronoa asked incredulously.
"Why not?" Goten replied with a shrug. "Seems like an interesting gig."
"Absolutely not!" Chronoa snapped. "But… if you’re serious, I might consider making you a trainee Kaioshin first."
"Trainee?" Goten raised an eyebrow. "How long would I have to wait before becoming a full Kaioshin?"
Chronoa smirked. "That depends entirely on my mood."
Laughing, Goten handed the Box of Time to Chronoa. "Relax, Lord Kaioshin. I was just joking!"
"Joking?" Chronoa repeated, narrowing her eyes.
"Yeah," Goten said with a grin. "I have no interest in your job. I’m working toward something much simpler: being the strongest so I can enjoy an easy life. Fishing, climbing mountains, traveling—that’s my dream."
Aeos chuckled. "So your grand pursuit of power is just a means to… lie around all day?"
"What else?" Goten replied. "Isn’t the point of working hard to gain the freedom to relax and live carefree?"
"That’s… not wrong," Aeos admitted, laughing softly.
"Hey, I’m pretty free myself!" Chronoa interjected, her expression indignant.
Goten and Aeos shared a knowing smile but said nothing.
"Lord Kaioshin, shouldn’t we focus on the battle instead of arguing?" Gohan interrupted.
Chronoa’s demeanor shifted instantly as she turned her attention to the ongoing fights. In the distance, Goku and his companions were still locked in combat with Cell and his allies.
Lifting the Box of Time, Chronoa declared, "Let’s end this. The Scroll of Time will restore peace!"
She opened the box, releasing a golden light that shot into the sky. The light eradicated the villains, and the timelines began to heal, returning to their natural states.
"Finally," Gohan sighed, relief washing over him.
Turning to Aeos, Chronoa spoke solemnly. "I’ve reconsidered my plan. I’ll trust in the possibilities you spoke of."
Aeos smiled faintly, her expression softening. With that, the summoned warriors returned to their respective timelines.
Back in the main timeline, Goku, Goten, and Gohan had returned home.
"Gohan, your company called earlier. They’re wondering where you’ve been," Chi-Chi scolded.
"Ahhhh!" Gohan yelped. "I completely forgot!"
"Well, go now!" Chi-Chi insisted.
"Goten," Gohan asked sheepishly, "could you give me a lift to West City?"
"Sure," Goten replied, placing a hand on Gohan’s shoulder. In an instant, they vanished, reappearing at Trunks’ house.
"Thanks, Goten!" Gohan said, immediately flying into the sky to handle his responsibilities.
Chapter 214: The Great Mother
Time passed, and three days flew by in the blink of an eye.
Beerus and Whis arrived on Earth to visit Goku and the others, curious about the events that had transpired. When they learned about the Trans-Dimensional Knockout Tournament, their expressions turned serious.
"A tournament across timelines?" Beerus muttered, scratching his chin.
Whis nodded thoughtfully. "Quite the spectacle, but we gods have our own rules. We cannot interfere in mortal affairs, especially those involving the delicate fabric of timelines."
"Where’s Goten?" Beerus asked, looking around.
Bulma chuckled. "He’s at school."
Beerus raised an eyebrow. "At school? The boy has strength rivaling Whis, yet he’s attending classes?!"
Bulma smiled. "It’s Chi-Chi’s idea, Lord Beerus. She insists on his education."
"Chi-Chi, huh? That’s Goku’s wife, isn’t it?" Beerus mused.
Bulma nodded.
Beerus smirked. "That woman must be powerful to keep both Goku and Goten in check!"
Whis chuckled. "Indeed. Perhaps the title of ‘the strongest in the universe’ belongs to her. No matter how powerful Goku and Goten become, they’ll never overcome her authority!"
Bulma laughed awkwardly, secretly relieved Chi-Chi wasn’t present to hear the remarks.
Orange Star High School
Meanwhile, at Orange Star High School, Goten sat in a classroom, staring blankly at the English textbook in his hands. The monotone voice of the teacher droned on, lulling him into boredom.
With a loud yawn, Goten leaned back in his chair, and before he knew it, he had dozed off.
The bell signaling the end of class jolted him awake. Stretching lazily, he strolled out into the hallway, greeted by a chorus of cheerful voices.
"Goten-kun!"
"Good morning!"
Goten smiled and waved at the throng of girls calling his name, his natural charisma making him the center of attention.
Standing off to the side, Marron crossed her arms, her expression sour as she watched the scene. Though she and Goten were just friends, jealousy simmered beneath the surface.
A Year Later
Time flew by, and a year passed without incident. During this peaceful period, Goten balanced his studies with his training. Weekends and vacations provided him ample time to hone his skills, ensuring he stayed sharp.
Goten’s popularity at school only grew, and Marron, unable to contain her feelings any longer, confessed her love to him. Goten didn’t immediately accept, saying he needed time to think. As someone with extraordinary power, he couldn’t take relationships lightly, but Marron’s identity gave him pause for consideration.
The Grand Zeno’s Palace
In the Grand Zeno’s Palace, the Grand Priest was preparing lunch for the Zeno when an extraordinary presence appeared behind him. He turned swiftly, his calm demeanor slipping into shock.
A tall woman with blue-green skin and flowing white hair stood before him. She wore an elegant blue dress with a red cape draped over her shoulders, exuding a regal yet imposing aura.
"Great Mother Goddess!" the Grand Priest exclaimed, his composure shattered.
The woman smiled serenely. "It has been a long time, Grand Priest."
"But how? You were sealed away!"
Billions of years ago, the Great Mother Goddess had served the Zeno alongside the Grand Priest. The Zeno had placed six universes under her jurisdiction, but when she defied their orders and rebelled with six angels, she was sealed away.
"I don’t know how," she admitted, her voice calm but firm. "What matters is that I am free now, and I’ve come to tell you something important."
The Grand Priest’s eyes narrowed. "What is it?"
"A revolution is coming. We will seize control of the entire multiverse."
The Grand Priest’s expression darkened. "‘We’? Have the other angels also broken free?"
The Great Mother Goddess nodded. "Indeed. Our seals have been shattered, and we are preparing for war. In three years, all gods and mortals will be forced to choose a side."
"You underestimate the Zeno. If they sealed you once, they can do so again."
The Great Mother Goddess smiled knowingly. "Do you think I would initiate a war without adequate preparation, Grand Priest? The era of Zeno’s rule is over."
With that, her body dissolved into a kaleidoscope of colors, vanishing from the palace.
The Grand Priest immediately summoned Whis and the other angels, his urgency evident.
The Angels’ Council
"Father," Whis began, "why have you called us so suddenly?"
"The seal of the Great Mother Goddess has been broken," the Grand Priest announced gravely.
The angels gasped, their faces filled with alarm.
"How is that possible?" Vados asked.
"I don’t know," the Grand Priest admitted. "But she appeared before me and declared war. She claims that in three years, all gods and mortals must choose sides."
"Could this be related to the chaos of timelines?" Whis speculated.
The Grand Priest’s gaze sharpened. "Do you mean the Cosmic Tree?"
"Not just that," Whis replied. "A year ago, Goku and his friends participated in the Super Timeline Elimination Tournament under the previous Kaioshin of Time’s directive. The disruptions might have weakened the seal."
The Grand Priest stroked his chin thoughtfully. "If that’s true, then we must prepare. The Great Mother Goddess is not a foe to underestimate."
"Should we inform the Grand Zeno?" Kess asked.
The Grand Priest nodded. "They are already aware. They tried to reseal her but failed. I suspect she has found a powerful ally."
"What about the Super Dragon Balls?" Vados suggested.
"They’ve been destroyed," the Grand Priest said grimly.
The angels used their staffs to confirm this, their expressions darkening as the shattered remnants of the Super Dragon Balls appeared.
"Father," Marcarita asked, "what should we do now?"
"We have three years to prepare. This war will involve mortals, and we must minimize casualties. Inform the strongest fighters from each universe. They must be ready."
The angels nodded solemnly before departing to spread the news.
Universe 7 – Frieza’s Spaceship
Meanwhile, in Universe 7, Frieza reclined in his chair, savoring a glass of fine wine. His peaceful moment was interrupted when a soldier burst into the room, panic etched across his face.
"King Frieza! Something terrible has happened!"
Before the soldier could elaborate, a tall figure stepped into the room. He was blue-green-skinned, wearing the uniform of an angel, and exuded an overwhelming presence.
Chapter 215: The Battle of Luck
"Who are you?" Frieza asked, narrowing his eyes, his expression a mix of caution and suspicion.
The figure before him smiled coldly. "My name is Galion. I am the angel of Universe 13."
Frieza scoffed. "Universe 13? Don’t be ridiculous. There are only twelve universes."
Galion’s smirk deepened. "There were originally eighteen universes, but The Grand Zeno erased six of them long ago."
Intrigued, Frieza leaned forward in his seat. "And what brings an angel like you to my humble domain?"
"There’s a great war on the horizon," Galion explained. "I want you to join our side."
"A war?"
"Yes," Galion said, his tone growing darker. "Do you know why there are only twelve universes left?"
"Because of The Grand Zeno?" Frieza guessed.
"Precisely. Zeno’s tyranny is the reason. And now, we seek to challenge his rule."
Frieza’s eyes narrowed further. "You want me to fight against Zeno? Bold, but even someone as powerful as myself knows that defying Zeno is madness."
"You misunderstand," Galion said. "You’re not strong enough to face Zeno directly, nor do we need you to. Your role is to eliminate the mortals who dare to resist us when the time comes."
Frieza’s brow furrowed. "Why involve mortals at all? If this is a war between gods, wouldn’t the victor simply rule over everything?"
Galion’s expression grew serious. "The gods may fight for dominance, but ruling the universe requires order among mortals. They are the foundation of existence."
"I still don’t see why I should involve myself," Frieza said dismissively.
"You have two choices," Galion said coldly. "Align with us—or die."
Frieza’s fingers twitched, his annoyance evident. He wasn’t accustomed to being the one threatened. Still, the thought of an angel’s overwhelming power forced him to temper his pride.
"I’ll join your side," Frieza said reluctantly.
"Good," Galion replied. "In three years, the war will begin. Your task will be simple—eliminate any mortals who oppose us. If we succeed, the seventh universe will be yours to rule."
Frieza’s eyes lit up. "Mine to rule?"
"Yes," Galion confirmed. "Additionally, I can assist in reviving your father and the others."
Frieza waved his hand dismissively. "No need. I’ll find a way to handle that myself."
Galion shrugged indifferently before turning to leave. "Very well. I’ll return in three years."
As the angel vanished, Frieza crushed the wine glass in his hand, his lips curling into a sinister smile. "One day," he muttered, "I, Frieza, will rise above even the gods themselves."
Hell
After leaving Frieza’s spaceship, Galion descended into the depths of Earth’s Hell, where he encountered Cell.
"Who are you?" Cell asked, his piercing gaze fixed on the imposing figure.
"My name is Galion," the angel said, his voice calm yet commanding.
"Galion?" Cell repeated. "What’s an angel?"
"Angels are the true rulers of the universe," Galion replied matter-of-factly.
"Rulers?"
"Indeed," Galion said, his tone growing serious. "But currently, angels loyal to Zeno rule the multiverse. That’s why I’ve come to you—there’s a war coming, and I want you on our side."
Cell’s lips twisted into a smirk. "And how can I help?"
"Simple. Destroy Goku," Galion said bluntly.
Cell’s smirk widened. "Consider it done." His hatred for Goku burned bright, making the angel’s offer irresistible.
Galion raised his staff, and with a flash of light, the halo above Cell’s head vanished.
Cell’s eyes widened in surprise. "What’s this?"
"You’ve been resurrected," Galion explained. "But Goku has grown much stronger since you last faced him. If you wish to defeat him, you’ll need to train."
"Train, huh?" Cell muttered, clenching his fists. "Fine."
With that, Galion whisked Cell away, leaving Hell behind.
Earth – West City
Meanwhile, at Bulma’s house, Goten and Trunks were deep in conversation.
"Did Marron really confess to you?" Trunks asked, grinning mischievously.
"Yeah," Goten replied, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.
"So, what’s the problem? Why didn’t you say yes?"
"I don’t know," Goten admitted. "It feels like we don’t have much in common."
Trunks laughed. "You don’t have much in common now, but you will if you give it a shot!"
"And what about Uncle Krillin?"
Trunks waved dismissively. "What about him? He’d probably be thrilled if you two got together. Think about it—Marron skipped a grade to be in the same class as you. How could he not know she likes you?"
Goten sighed. "Maybe you’re right. What about you, though? When are you getting a girlfriend?"
Trunks coughed awkwardly. "I’m not in a rush. A lot of girls at school have confessed to me, but I’ve turned them all down."
"Why?"
"Most of them are only interested in my money," Trunks said with a shrug. "Mom told me that if I want a girlfriend, she has to be someone exceptional—someone who won’t be after my family’s fortune."
Goten chuckled. "You’ve got high standards, Trunks."
Before Trunks could respond, Goten’s expression shifted. He sensed a familiar yet powerful energy nearby.
In the next moment, a multicolored light descended from the sky, landing in front of them. As the light faded, two figures emerged—Beerus and Whis.
"Lord Beerus!" Trunks exclaimed.
Beerus nodded, his expression uncharacteristically serious.
"Why are you here, Lord Beerus?" Goten asked.
Before Beerus could answer, King Kai’s voice echoed in Goten’s mind. "Goten, something terrible has happened. Cell has been resurrected and taken away!"
"Cell?" Goten repeated aloud.
"Yes," King Kai confirmed. "The one who took him was an angel!"
Goten turned to Whis. "What’s going on?"
Whis sighed. "It’s as I feared. Goten, the Great Mother Goddess has returned, and her rebellion threatens the balance of the entire multiverse."
"How strong is she compared to the Grand Priest?" Goten asked.
"They are nearly equal," Whis admitted, his tone grave.
Goten frowned. "The battles between gods shouldn’t involve mortals. Why drag us into this?"
Whis shook his head. "This war isn’t just about power—it’s about luck. The Great Mother Goddess seeks to claim the fate of the universe itself. Through mortal conflicts, she aims to gather the luck of all universes and use it to defeat the Zeno."
"Luck?"
"Yes," Whis explained. "Luck shapes the destiny of the universe and bestows benefits upon gods. Zeno’s rule is largely attributed to his unparalleled luck. The Great Mother Goddess wants to take it for herself."
