[OP Marine Officer Luffy] Chapter 296- 300

Chapter 296: Kalifa, Olivia: Pervert! You Can Do This to Such a Young Child?!

Violet’s suspicion lingered. She knew the dwarves were naïve and easy to manipulate, and she couldn’t shake the thought that Mansherry might have been tricked by Luffy’s sweet words.

Luffy, having recovered from the intoxicating scent of violets, rubbed the back of his head and sighed. "How should I put this? It’s… complicated. I don’t even know how to explain it."

However, Violet quickly dismissed her doubts. Impossible, she thought. Luffy isn’t that kind of person.

But her confidence was shattered a second later.

Wiping the last of her tears, Mansherry looked up at Violet and beamed. "Violet, let me tell you something! Luffy is my fiancé!"

"What?!!" x3

Violet froze, her eyes widening in shock. She stared at Luffy as if he were a scumbag of the highest order. But her disgusted reaction wasn’t hers alone.

She turned to see Kalifa and Olivia, who had just arrived and overheard Mansherry’s declaration. Both women looked horrified as their gazes darted between Luffy and the tiny figure perched in his pocket.

Kalifa’s sharp voice broke the silence. "You… you’ve really fallen this low, haven’t you? To lay your hands on someone so small? So small!"

Olivia wasn’t far behind, her voice rising in disbelief. "Have you gone insane?! Is my figure not soft enough? Or are Kalifa’s legs not smooth enough?!" She pointed accusingly at Mansherry. "How could your tastes get so bad that you’d go for someone so… so tiny?!"

The three women stared at Luffy as if he were the most depraved man alive.

Luffy, beads of cold sweat forming on his forehead, muttered under his breath, "Oh crap. Why did they have to show up now of all times?"

Noticing some curious onlookers in the distance, Luffy quickly gestured for silence, whispering harshly, "Quiet! You’re going to make things worse!"

Without another word, he grabbed Kalifa and Olivia by their wrists, motioned for Violet to follow, and bolted toward a quieter area at the edge of the camp.

Once there, Luffy released the two women and carefully pulled Mansherry from his pocket, handing her to Violet.

"Alright," he said, his tone serious, "let me explain everything."

As Luffy recounted the events—how he saved Mansherry and was "forced" into an engagement by her people—Kalifa and Olivia’s expressions shifted from disbelief to fury.

Kalifa crossed her arms, her glare sharp enough to cut steel. "Unbelievable! They forced their savior into an engagement? What a shameless race!"

Olivia jabbed a finger at Mansherry, her voice dripping with indignation. "You’re worse than the snake in that farmer-and-snake story! Is this how you repay kindness?!"

Faced with their combined wrath, Mansherry shrank into Violet’s palm, her big eyes brimming with fresh tears.

"Woo woo woo~ So scary! Human women are so mean!" she cried.

As her tears fell, Violet suddenly felt an inexplicable warmth spread through her body. Her exhaustion melted away, replaced by a sense of peace and vitality.

This… this is real healing! Violet realized. Mansherry’s Heal-Heal Fruit powers were at work.

Still, Violet’s mind raced. Is this why Luffy is so attached to her? Her powers are undeniably useful. But…

She glanced warily at Kalifa and Olivia, whose striking beauty and confidence made Violet feel unexpectedly self-conscious. Their aggressive behavior only added to her unease.

Turning to them, Violet asked cautiously, "Who are you two? And what’s your relationship with Luffy?"

Kalifa smirked, her voice laced with amusement as she walked over and latched onto Luffy’s left arm.

Olivia followed suit, wrapping her arms around Luffy’s right arm and pressing herself against him.

"What’s our relationship?" Kalifa echoed mockingly. "We’re his real girlfriends, of course. Recognized by everyone!"

Olivia added with a sneer, "Unlike you, we actually matter."

Mansherry, momentarily stunned into silence, suddenly stood up in Violet’s palm. Her tiny frame trembled with indignation.

"What do you mean by ‘real girlfriends’?! I’m his fiancée! We’re engaged! That makes me more legitimate than you weirdos!"

Kalifa and Olivia glanced at each other, then burst into laughter.

"Fiancée?" Kalifa scoffed. "You’re just a kid playing pretend."

Olivia chuckled darkly. "Keep dreaming, tiny princess."

The two women dismissed Mansherry with ease, their focus shifting back to Violet.

Luffy, sensing the growing tension, stepped in quickly. "Alright, that’s enough. Violet, let me introduce everyone."

He gestured toward Violet and addressed the other women. "This is Violet, the former princess of Dressrosa. She’s now working as my personal advisor and is a user of the Paramecia-type Glare-Glare Fruit."

Kalifa’s expression darkened instantly. She adjusted her glasses with deliberate force, her teeth grinding audibly.

Chapter 297: Violet: You’re Not Wearing Anything?!

"Another princess?!" Olivia growled, glaring at Luffy. "Do you have some kind of princess fetish or something?!"

Annoyed by his habit of bringing back new women every other day, Olivia pinched Luffy’s waist. To her frustration, her fingers met solid muscle, and Luffy didn’t react in the slightest.

"Alright, calm down and listen to me," Luffy said, raising his hands defensively. "Violet and I are not in that kind of relationship…"

While Luffy was attempting to calm Olivia and Kalifa, Violet narrowed her eyes, a sly smile forming on her lips. She raised her hand, forming an OK gesture with her thumb and forefinger, a faint purple film shimmering between the circle.

Bringing her hand to her eye, Violet peered at Kalifa through the translucent filter. After a brief pause, her lips curled mischievously.

"Hehe… look at you, all serious and professional, glasses girl. I didn’t expect you’d be hiding black lace under there."

Kalifa blinked, confused.

It took a few seconds for Violet’s words to register. Kalifa’s face turned beet red as she dropped to the ground, screaming and clutching at her skirt.

"You… you pervert! How dare you peek at me?! This is harassment! I’ll report you to the Marines and have you thrown in jail!"

Violet smirked, clearly enjoying Kalifa’s meltdown.

Satisfied with her first strike, Violet turned to Olivia and repeated the same motion, glancing at her through the film. Her smug confidence, however, quickly shattered.

"You… you’re not wearing anything?! You shameless woman!" Violet gasped, her cheeks flushing as she covered her mouth in shock.

Olivia rolled her eyes, placing her hands on her hips. "Excuse me?! You’re the one peeping, and you dare call me shameless?"

To emphasize her point, Olivia stretched her leg slightly, tugging at her black stockings in a teasingly seductive manner.

"Look closely, princess. These are pantyhose. How can you say I’m not wearing anything?"

"Shameless! So shameless!" Violet spluttered. "What’s the point of wearing something so transparent? It’s basically nothing!"

Though Violet often presented herself as bold and confident, deep down, she was far more reserved and conservative. Olivia’s unabashed demeanor was too much for her.

"This is unacceptable!" Violet exclaimed, stepping forward. "I challenge you to a duel! One-on-one!"

Kalifa, who had managed to recover somewhat, shot to her feet and pointed an accusatory finger at Violet.

"You think you’re getting away with this?!" she yelled. "Peeping at me and mocking me?! You’re dead, princess!"

Her outstretched hand began to shimmer faintly with the metallic gleam of Armament Haki.

As the tension between the three women escalated, Luffy sighed, running a hand down his face. Why does this always happen around me?

"Kalifa, Olivia," he called firmly, his voice cutting through the chaos.

"Hm?" Both women turned toward him in unison.

Without hesitation, Luffy stepped forward and delivered a quick love tap to each of their behinds.

"Hmm~!" The sound escaped both women simultaneously, their anger instantly deflating.

Kalifa’s lips quivered as she clutched at her reddening cheeks, the metallic sheen of her Haki dissipating. Meanwhile, Olivia’s face turned an even deeper shade of red as she glanced at Luffy with a mixture of embarrassment and longing.

"Luffy!" Kalifa protested weakly, her voice barely audible.

"Enough fighting," Luffy said firmly. "Mansherry and Violet are part of our team now. I expect all of you to get along. Understood?"

Olivia, still flustered, glanced at Luffy from under her lashes. Her eyes seemed to say, If you hit me again, I’ll do anything you want.

Luffy rolled his eyes at her expression and flicked her forehead lightly. "We’ll talk later. For now, behave."

Pouting, Olivia sighed and nodded reluctantly.

Kalifa, despite her mature and queenly demeanor, often revealed her more clumsy and endearing side in moments like these. She lowered her head, mumbling her agreement. Luffy patted both women lightly on their backs as a gesture of reassurance.

"Good," he said.

Kalifa and Olivia reluctantly stepped away, their frustration evident in their slow, hesitant steps. They disappeared around a corner, glancing back at Luffy every few steps.

As they walked, Kalifa’s scowl deepened. "Hey, cow," she muttered.

"What now?" Olivia replied, her voice wary.

Kalifa’s eyes gleamed as she made a series of hand gestures—an unspoken code between the two women, designed to avoid detection by Luffy’s Observation Haki.

The message was clear: Kalifa planned to find Hancock while Olivia sought out Ain.

"If we’re going to solidify our position as the top contenders, we need to prepare," Kalifa signed.

Olivia nodded in understanding. But before leaving, she smirked and added one last jab. "Oh, and Kalifa? Don’t call me a cow again."

"Hmph!" Kalifa huffed, storming off with renewed determination.

Chapter 298: Luffy:…

Luffy turned to the group with a calm but slightly complicated expression. Without offering much explanation, he reached out to take Mansherry from Violet’s hands.

"Let’s go. Leo and the others should have found King Riku and Kyros by now. We should head back too."

Hearing Leo’s name, Violet’s confusion was replaced with surprise and joy. "Leo’s here too? That’s wonderful! I haven’t seen him in years!"

Mansherry, however, seemed less enthusiastic. Her mood had soured, as she had initially believed herself to be Luffy’s only fiancée. The realization that he already had two girlfriends—both seemingly very close to him—left her feeling neglected.

Noticing her dejection, Luffy gently rubbed her cheek with his fingers, his voice soothing. "Don’t overthink it, Mansherry. I know our engagement was a little… rushed, but I treat all my women equally. You’re important to me, just like they are."

Though still a little afraid of Kalifa and Olivia’s intimidating personalities, Mansherry nodded obediently. If it was Luffy’s request, she would do her best.

She took a deep breath, mustering up her courage. "Alright! I’ll try to be friends with them!"

On the way back to the tent, Luffy casually turned to Violet. "Plum, does your father have any plans to reclaim the throne?"

Violet blinked, momentarily confused. " Plum? Are you… talking to me?"

"Of course," Luffy replied with a grin. "Plum can be violet colour. It’s nickname. If you don’t like it, I can call you something else—Laila, Little Let, Acai…"

As Luffy rattled off increasingly creative nicknames, Violet’s cheeks flushed a deep red. "Stop! Just stop!" she stammered, waving her hands in protest.

"You… you can call me whatever you like, but Plum sounds so childish! I guess it’s fine…"

Luffy’s grin widened mischievously at her flustered response.

For him, Violet wasn’t just another potential ally. Her ability, beauty, and connections made her indispensable, especially for the search for pure gold. He intended to pull her closer, both for strategic reasons and, admittedly, because of her charm.

"Alright, Plum it is, then!" Luffy teased. "So, Plum, why aren’t you answering my question about your father? Does he have any intention of taking the throne back?"

Violet ducked her head, trying to hide her reddened face beneath her cloak. "I… I don’t know. You should ask him yourself," she mumbled.

Undeterred, Luffy pressed on. "Fine. But Plum, how old are you? How tall are you? Do you have any hobbies?"

"23. 178 centimeters. And… no hobbies."

"Come on, there’s no way you don’t have hobbies! Don’t be shy, Plum. Tell me what you like!"

"..."

Luffy’s relentless questioning continued all the way back to the tent. Along the way, he managed to learn some rather interesting details about Violet—like her precise measurements. Her figure, especially her chest-to-waist ratio, was almost suspiciously perfect. Luffy even joked about verifying the numbers himself, though he wisely kept those thoughts to himself.

By the time they arrived, Violet was dazed and overwhelmed.

In the tent, King Riku was sitting with Leo, engaged in an animated discussion. Kyros stood nearby, keeping a watchful eye on Rebecca as she played with the dwarves, worried she might accidentally hurt them.

When Luffy and the others entered, King Riku and the others began to rise, but Luffy waved them off.

"No need to stand. I’ll sit here," Luffy said, finding a nearby seat.

Leo, spotting Luffy, jumped up excitedly. "Benefactor! We’ve decided to stay and help rebuild Dressrosa! Kabu’s already gone back to prepare supplies. He’ll be here soon with supplies from Greenbit!"

"Good," Luffy said with a nod. "I’ll have someone handle the reception and distribution when it arrives. You don’t have to worry about that."

King Riku smiled warmly. The people of Dressrosa already regarded Luffy as their savior, and his dedication to helping the country’s recovery only deepened their gratitude.

"With food from the dwarves, we’ll be under much less pressure," King Riku said. "But I have to admit, the situation is still dire. Rebuilding will take more than supplies—we need leadership. Someone the people can trust."

Luffy turned to King Riku, his expression serious. "Your Majesty, that’s exactly what I’ve been saying. Dressrosa needs a leader. Someone who can unite the people and guide them through this crisis.

"I understand why you stepped down, but the people need you now more than ever. It’s time to take the reins again."

Chapter 299: Sengoku with a Changing Mindset

Luffy turned back to King Riku and continued, his tone calm but firm:

"You need to use your past reputation and credibility to explain to the surrounding kingdoms what has happened in Dressrosa over the years. Seek their support. Even request aid from the World Government if necessary."

He sighed, spreading his hands helplessly.

"You know, the Marines aren’t a charity organization. I’ve already pushed the limits by mobilizing resources from nearby branches. If this keeps up, I’ll have to answer to a military tribunal."

King Riku understood the difficulty of Luffy’s position and deeply appreciated his efforts. But guilt and regret still weighed heavily on him.

"I can’t forgive myself for what happened," King Riku said, his voice filled with sorrow. "I don’t deserve to lead again."

Luffy shook his head, his patience thinning. "Think about the people of Dressrosa. They’ve endured enough. They need you to step up now more than ever."

Meanwhile, in Marineford, chaos erupted in Fleet Admiral Sengoku’s office.

"BANG!" Sengoku slammed his hand on his desk.

"That brat Luffy again!" he roared, pacing furiously. "Doesn’t he know he needs my permission to mobilize branch resources?! Especially something as critical as reserve supplies!

"And don’t even get me started on that Gion! Always off on some wild escapade with him, using her rank as an excuse to do whatever nonsense she pleases!"

His rant was interrupted by the sound of a teacup being placed gently on the table. Zephyr, seated leisurely on the sofa alongside Vice Admiral Tsuru, looked up from his newspaper.

"Calm down, Sengoku," Zephyr said with a faint smile. "At least that kid isn’t an idiot who only thinks about women. He’s doing something worthwhile."

Sengoku’s face turned red with anger. "You’re praising him?! That troublemaker is a Marine! He should know better than to bend the rules!"

Tsuru took a sip of her tea, her expression calm as ever. "Sengoku, what Luffy did wasn’t wrong. He reported it to you afterward, didn’t he? As for Gion, let her have her fun for now. Assign her a new task later if you must."

Sengoku picked up a document from his desk, holding it out dramatically. "Fun? Do you have any idea how much those supplies cost?! That was all funded by the World Government! If he’d told me earlier, I could’ve requested the funding myself!"

Zephyr and Tsuru exchanged knowing looks.

"That’s what’s bothering you?" they muttered in unison.

Despite his blustering, Sengoku’s demeanor had noticeably softened over the past few months. Since his return from the G-2 branch, he had become less rigid and more prone to venting his frustrations in a way that bordered on endearing.

Tsuru studied him for a moment before speaking. "Let’s set that aside for now. What are your thoughts on the Amazon Lily plan?"

Sengoku’s expression grew thoughtful.

"The government wants to find promising girls from around the world, have them trained by the Kuja Warriors, and recruit them as soldiers. The idea is for Amazon Lily to eventually become a member nation of the World Government.

"It’s not a bad plan on paper, but…" Sengoku trailed off, his brow furrowing. "There’s something about it that feels off."

Tsuru nodded, her sharp gaze unwavering. "Little Luffy has ambitions that stretch far beyond what most people realize."

Sengoku scoffed. "Of course he does. That boy possesses Conqueror’s Haki. Anyone with that kind of spirit is bound to aim high—far higher than the average Marine."

He slumped into his chair, staring at the words emblazoned on the scroll hanging on his wall: The Justice of the World.

"That brat’s been eyeing this chair for a while now," Sengoku muttered. "And if those Kuja trainees grow into the force he’s planning, it’ll only be a matter of time before he’s promoted.

"When that happens, he could use them as his trump card. Maybe, under his command, the Marines could finally bring justice the world."

A heavy silence fell over the room. Sengoku’s voice softened, tinged with melancholy.

"I’ve chased this dream my entire career, yet it feels like Luffy might be the one to make it a reality."

Zephyr leaned back, his expression unreadable. "You don’t sound as upset about that as you pretend to be."

Tsuru added quietly, "But don’t get ahead of yourself, Sengoku. That kid has a long way to go before he’s ready for this chair."

Her words hung in the air, their weight undeniable.

Sengoku didn’t respond immediately. He simply stared at the scroll on the wall, a faint smile playing at his lips.

Chapter 300: Sanji’s Identity is Exposed, Luffy is Promoted to Vice Admiral

Zephyr looked at his two old friends, his expression blank.

"Are you two serious? By the time that brat Luffy becomes Fleet Admiral, we’ll all be old… or dead. There’s at least one more generation to step up before that happens."

Sengoku smirked, leaning back in his chair. "That’s just you. I plan to live past a hundred."

Zephyr groaned and slammed his hand on the table. "Will you stop it, Sengoku?! Even if, hypothetically, that kid becomes Fleet Admiral, how can you guarantee he’ll lead the Marines properly? That troublemaker has a history, and let’s not forget his colorful subordinates."

"What’s wrong with his subordinates?" Sengoku asked, genuinely puzzled. "Aside from the fact that he has a few… extra female crew members, everything seems fine to me."

Zephyr and Sengoku both turned toward Tsuru as she sighed, crossing her arms.

"You two have clearly forgotten something important," she said, her tone sharp. "Among his crew, there’s not only a Shichibukai but also the daughter of Kaido, one of the Four Emperors.

"And that’s not all," Tsuru added, her expression darkening. "That curly-browed kid… his identity has been uncovered. He’s the prince of the Germa Kingdom, declared dead by Judge years ago."

Tsuru expected her revelation to shock them. But to her dismay, Sengoku and Zephyr’s reactions were maddeningly indifferent.

Sengoku lazily flicked a piece of lint off his sleeve and replied, "Oh," in the calmest tone imaginable.

Zephyr took a slow sip of tea and, after a long pause, muttered, "Makes sense."

Tsuru’s eyebrow twitched. "Are you two serious?!"

"What’s the big deal?" Sengoku shrugged. "So he’s a prince. Honestly, I wouldn’t even be surprised if Luffy brought a Celestial Dragon onboard someday."

Zephyr nodded sagely. "Yeah. Compared to that, Boa Hancock—soon to be the ruler of a government-affiliated nation—is far more significant. And don’t get me started on Kaido’s daughter. What was Luffy thinking, bringing someone so dangerous onto his ship?"

Sengoku chuckled. "He’s your disciple, after all, Zephyr. It’s no surprise he’d do something reckless."

Zephyr’s expression darkened. "Excuse me?! Don’t forget, you’re the one who brought Hancock into the picture! If anything, this mess is your fault!"

Sengoku slammed his hand on the desk, his voice rising. "I’m the Fleet Admiral of the Marines, Zephyr! Watch your tone!"

Zephyr stood, his voice equally loud. "Fleet Admiral or not, you’re still the same fool who—"

Tsuru let out a long, exasperated sigh as the two men bickered. Taking a deep breath, she rose from her seat and strode toward the door.

"Tsuru, where are you going?" Sengoku called after her.

Tsuru paused at the doorway, turning back with a cold smile. "I’m going to call my future grandson-in-law and tell him to prepare to take your place. It’s clear the Marine’s future is doomed with you two idiots in charge."

With that, she left the room, slamming the door behind her.

Zephyr and Sengoku stared at the closed door, stunned.

"She’s joking… right?" Zephyr murmured.

Sengoku frowned, his tone uncertain. "Maybe? Probably…?"

The two exchanged a glance before Sengoku suddenly leapt from his seat. He shoved Zephyr aside, rummaged through the papers on his desk, and snatched up the Den Den Mushi.

Luffy, who was in the middle of a heated sparring match with Kalifa and Olivia, answered the call with mild annoyance.

"Yeah?"

"Luffy!" Sengoku barked. "I order you to head to Wano immediately! You’re now the Vice Admiral Base Commander of the G-66 Branch! Effective immediately!

"And remember, until I personally call you back, you’re not allowed to return to Marineford! Is that clear?!"

Before Luffy could respond, Sengoku slammed the receiver down with a satisfied grin.

Zephyr, slumped on the sofa, let out a heavy sigh and pulled a pack of cigarettes from his pocket.

"When did you start smoking?" Sengoku asked, his brow furrowing. "You know you’ve got asthma."

Zephyr lit a cigarette and took a deep drag, coughing violently before managing to reply. "It’s from that brat Luffy. Says it’s some kind of special herbal blend that’s good for my health. Smoking a few a day apparently helps."

Sengoku raised an eyebrow, skeptical.

Zephyr leaned back, exhaling a cloud of smoke as he stared at the ceiling. "You know… it’s crazy how fast time flies. In the blink of an eye, that kid’s already a Vice Admiral. When I was his age, I was still a clueless fool.

"As much as I hate to admit it… that boy might just be the future of the Marines."

For once, Sengoku didn’t argue. He leaned back in his chair, his gaze drifting to the scroll on the wall that read The Justice of the World.

"Maybe," Sengoku said quietly. "Just maybe."
