[Marvel : Spoiling Spider-man] Chapter 81 - 85

"Peter, that Venom, did The Screen really give it to you?" Uncle Ben asked.
"Yes, I'm looking at it now." Peter looked at Venom crawling back and forth in front of him. He brought Venom to school and examined it with Gwen. At the same time, he asked Dr. Connors to help study whether it was true as The Screen said.
Gwen was a little scared at first, but Venom seemed to like Gwen and kept moving closer to her. Unless Peter stopped him, he would sneak up on Gwen whenever he got the chance.
Gwen touched it briefly and found that Venom seemed very docile and was delighted by the touch of her fingers, so she gradually let go of her fear.
After Peter finished talking to Uncle Ben on the phone, he looked at Gwen.
Because of the narrator's affirmation, Gwen's feelings for Peter were made clear, so Peter also tried to be with Gwen, and the two became closer and closer.
"Sorry, my uncle wants to know about Venom." Peter said to her apologetically.
"Yeah! I understand. My dad is always worried about me, too. By the way, my mom invited you to my house for dinner. She wants to see you in person." Gwen smiled at him tenderly and told him what her mother said. . .
[Peter brought Venom to Dr. Connors late at night, eager to uncover its mysteries. “What do you think this is?” he asked.]
[Connors peered at the creature under a microscope, his brow furrowing. “I’ve never seen anything like it. But I’m a physicist, not a biologist.”]
[“Can you test it now?” Peter pressed, leaning forward.]
[As Connors spoke, Venom slipped off the microscope and lunged toward Peter. Quick to react, Peter trapped it under a glass beaker. The slime flailed violently, trying to escape.]
["It seems to like you," Connors observed, his tone half-joking but laced with unease.]
["Why does it act like this?" Peter asked.]
["It’s a parasite,” Connors explained, his expression turning serious. “It requires a host to survive. And once it attaches to a host, it’s extremely difficult to remove. Be very careful, Peter. Don’t let it bond with you.”]
"Does Venom maintain its own consciousness when separated from the host?" Tony Stark mused as he watched The Screen.
“It’s clearly just a small part of the whole, yet it can independently seek a host,” Rhodes added, his expression grave.
Nick Fury also convened biologists from SHIELD to begin speculating on the characteristics of this thing.
[Peter returned home and heard a police report on the radio as soon as he entered the door, which also mentioned that another sandstorm had occurred nearby.]
[Peter immediately realized that it was Marko, and he immediately walked to the closet and reached out to take the Spider suit.]
[But his hand stopped halfway and he turned his gaze to the box below.]
[He opened the box, revealing the black Spider suit inside. He hesitated for only a second before deciding to put it on.]
[In the night sky, Peter, wearing a black suit, jumped down from the screen and began to move quickly towards the place where Marko appeared.]
[As he moved, he soon arrived at the door of the bank that had been robbed, and saw a car overturned outside the door.]
[The bank's door had been destroyed, and a lot of dollars were floating out. He glanced at the security guard lying on the ground, and saw a stream of fine sand flowing into the sewer.]
[At this time, Eddie also rushed to the scene in a taxi. He took out cash from his pocket and handed it to the driver, then ran over here with the camera.]
[Peter pulled out the railing of the sewer along with the cement next to it and threw it aside.]
[Eddie saw Peter wearing Venom Spider suit and exclaimed, "Wow! Man! Love the new outfit!"]
[Peter turned around and saw Eddie behind him. Eddie said excitedly, "This is exactly the exclusive news I need. Report it before Parker! Quick give some of that web action!"]
[Peter, wearing Venom, didn't care about Eddie. When he heard that Eddie wanted to take this opportunity to beat him, Peter unceremoniously used spider web to stick to Eddie's camera, and then threw it, and the camera smashed against the wall and shattered on the spot.]
[“See you chum!” Peter taunted him and jumped directly into the sewer. ]
[Eddie yelled at Peter, who had disappeared without a trace: "What the hell?!"]
[Seeing Spider-Man had disappeared without a trace, he was unwilling but helpless. He looked around, took out a small camera from his pocket and started taking pictures.]
"Peter... now that you are wearing Venom, will you break people's things like this?" George Stacy glanced at Peter, who had just arrived at the house and was a little restless.
"No! I...how could I?" Peter knew his own character very well. Even if Eddie was competing with him for his job, he would never do such a thing.
"The side effects of Venom have been eliminated by the Screen. Now I am asking Dr. Connors to study its properties to see if there is any difference from those in the Screen."
Peter explained to George Stacy that Venom was currently curled up in his trouser pocket.
"George, you scared him. You know Peter's character better than anyone else. How long have you been seeing him since the screen was broadcast?" Mrs. Stacy helped Peter out.
Then he placed a plate of fruit in front of Peter and smiled at him: "Don't mind it, George is just like this."
"That venom affected Peter. Didn't The Screen say that? It would amplify other people's evil thoughts. Even a very kind-hearted Peter would be affected..."
Gwen sat aside and defended Peter. George looked at his wife and couldn't help but sigh that girls can't be kept when they grow up. She hasn't even started her destiny yet, but she's already turned her elbow outward.
[In the sewer, Marko was walking along the railroad tracks carrying two bags of money, unaware that Peter was crawling on the ceiling behind him.]
[At this time, a train passed by, and the light shone on Peter, who was dressed in black. Marko turned back and looked up as if he had noticed something. At this moment, the light disappeared, and Peter disappeared into the darkness.]
[Marko stared at Peter's position for a few seconds, but didn't find anything suspicious, so he turned around and continued walking forward.]
[As soon as he turned around, Peter appeared in front of him, hanging upside down. The sudden appearance of the shadow startled Marko, and he took two steps back unconsciously.]
[“Flint Marko!” Marko reacted and immediately used his right hand to attack Peter. Peter dodged to the side, and Marko chased him and punched him.]
[Peter easily avoided it. Marko punched a hole in the wall. Peter jumped to the ceiling in front of him and stared at him.]
[“What do you want?” he asked Peter angrily.]
[“Remember Ben Parker? The old man you brutally shot to death?!!”]
Chapter 82: Sandman is washed away by water
[Peter's sharp words made Marko freeze for a moment, as though old memories had clawed their way back to the surface. His expression wavered, shifting between anger and something resembling regret.]
["What does any of this have to do with you?!" Marko roared, his voice tinged with frustration. Peter didn't answer, his piercing gaze locked on the man who had taken so much from him.]
[The rumble of an approaching train filled the sewer. Peter leaped to the other side of the tracks, firing a web to anchor himself before launching forward with incredible speed. With a shout—"He is everything to me!!!”]
[Then he fired a spider web at him. Marko subconsciously dodged it, but Peter's target was the train. He took advantage of the train's speed and his own strength to kick Marko hard.]
[Marko was kicked out before he could even react, and fell heavily onto the track below. The two bags of money in his hands also fell out of his hands and fell further down.]
[Marko, who was hit on the track, struggled to raise his upper body, and then saw Peter swinging on the spider web and kicking at him.]
[He immediately reacted by turning his legs into sand and stretching them out, pressing them against Peter's abdomen, intercepting Peter's attack, and then punching Peter with his backhand, sending him flying.]
[Peter fell on the track, and a train happened to come in front of him. Peter dodged it with a backflip at the critical moment.]
[Then he shot a spider web thread from below and went around Marko's back, kicking him hard to the side of the train and causing him to fall to the ground.]
[Peter rushed over and grabbed him by the back of his neck, pushing his head towards the speeding train.]
[Half of Marko's head was immediately worn away, and Marko screamed in pain.]
[The train passed completely, and most of Marko's head disappeared, revealing the sand inside. He half-knelt on the ground, gathered the sand with both hands and condensed his head again.]
[“It’s time for you to pay with blood! Marko Flint!” Peter yelled at him. While he was talking, Marko hit Peter in the back and knocked him onto the train passing behind.]
[Peter was hit by a train and lost control of his body and crashed into another train. Marko took the opportunity to punch him and Peter flew backwards and broke the window of the train.]
[But he immediately stood up after he fell to the ground and punched Marko in the face with a backswing punch, which immediately made a dent in his face.]
[Marko was hit so hard by the punch that he couldn't stop and crashed into the handle of the train, leaving another dent on his face.]
[Peter grabbed his neck and punched him again, knocking Marko off the track. Peter still held him tightly, and Marko fought back with all his might in the air.]
[Then his body hit the pipe, and Peter punched him hard from above. The pipe couldn't withstand the force and broke in two on the spot, and the two continued to fall down.]
[In the air, Peter's body adjustment ability was obviously higher than Marko's. He adjusted his body easily and kicked him again. Marko screamed and fell into the pool below.]
[Marko, who fell into the water, wanted to get up, but found that his body could no longer be condensed after being soaked in water. He looked at his arm without fingers in horror.]
[Peter in the back also saw this scene. He yelled and kicked Marko. Marko dodged in time, but Peter kicked the pipe.]
[The extremely thick sewer pipe immediately began to spray water. Marko looked at the pipe and had a bad premonition in his heart, and then his premonition came true.]
[Peter grabbed the pipe joint with both hands and began to exert force. Marko had just climbed up when he saw the nails on the pipe begin to burst out and water spurted out of it.]
[Marko's expression began to turn horrified.]
[As the nails popped out in large numbers, the pipe immediately broke into pieces, and a large amount of water gushed out from it, and Marko, who was in front of the pipe, was the first to be hit.]
[A large amount of water directly washed Marko away. He struggled in the water and popped his head out. Then he found that his whole body was constantly dissolving.]
[Peter watched as the sand on Marko's body was washed away by the current, until nothing was left.]
[He thought Marko was dead and said, "Rest in peace!!!"]
"Did Marko end like this? It seems like he's not that difficult to deal with after all." Tony sighed after seeing Peter deal with Marko. He thought it would be so difficult to deal with, but this is it?
"After Peter Parker put on Venom suit, his strength improved significantly. Compared with the previous battle with Marko, Peter Parker's strength clearly overwhelmed Marko in this battle."
"He showed no signs of being affected by attacks, and even when hit by a speeding train, he showed no damage. He was even able to adjust his body and fight back even after being hit so hard."
Tony nodded after listening to Jarvis' analysis. He was indeed much stronger. The previous Peter would never be able to fight back like nothing happened after being hit by a train.
[Peter came to an alley from the sewer, saw himself in the mirror, and fixed his hair.]
[While sorting out and thinking about what just happened, Peter's heart did not calm down after killing Marko, but became more turbulent. ]
[Back in the Apartment, the landlord Dykovich was cleaning the corridor. Seeing Peter coming back, he habitually said, "Rent!"]
[“Not now!” Peter replied calmly and walked straight to his room. Dykovich stopped sweeping the floor after hearing his words.]
[As he walked, he said, "Listen, this is a free country, but it's not a rent-free country!"]
[But Peter was very upset at this moment, "Don't mess with me!"]
[“You have to pay the rent!” Dykevich looked at him, and Ursula also walked out of the room and looked at the two of them.]
[Peter, who was trying to open the door, said to him angrily: "You want rent? Then you have to fix this damn door first!!!"]
[After yelling, Peter saw Ursula behind him. She was looking at Peter worriedly. Peter subconsciously avoided her gaze and opened the door and walked in. ]
[Dykovich looked at the angry Peter with a surprised look on his face. Ursula walked behind him, fearing that he would drive Peter out in anger.]
[“He’s never like this,” Urasu murmured. Her father nodded in agreement. "He’s a good tenant—must’ve had a rough day."]
"Oh... Venom seems to have affected me very much. I never say such things."
Gwen looked at how nervous Peter was in front of her parents and couldn't help but hold his hand. "It's okay. We know it now, and we know that this one is different."
Chief George glanced at the two people holding hands and silently shifted his gaze.
His wife smiled gently. She had a very good impression of Peter, and Gwen also liked him very much. Whether it was Gwen in the screen or Gwen in reality, they both liked Peter Parker.
What worried her was that The Screen said that the two of them could never be together, and she didn’t know whether they could finally be together.
[Peter returned to his room and immediately closed the balcony window. He felt that his behavior today was very wrong.]
[Suddenly he looked in the mirror and realized something, unbuttoned his collar, revealing Venom suit inside. He realized that it was Venom suit that was the problem, and quickly took it off and put it in the box.]
[Peter took a few steps back and stared at the box. He also realized how terrible Venom was.]
Chapter 83 Aunt May’s Teachings
["Flint Marko, the real murderer of Uncle Ben... He was killed last night." Peter told Aunt May about Marko. ]
[After hearing Peter's words, Aunt May couldn't help but say "Oh my god!" and then asked Peter what happened. ]
[“Spider-Man killed him!” Peter explained to her.]
[“Spider-Man? I don’t understand. Spider-Man doesn’t kill people. What happened?” Aunt May looked incredulous. She knew Spider-Man never killed anyone.]
[Faced with Aunt May's question, Peter hesitated but couldn't explain it clearly. ]
["I thought you would think... he deserved it, right?" Peter said to Aunt May with a forced smile. ]
["I don't think we have the power to decide a person's life or death!" Aunt May said with her head down. She thought Peter asked Spider-Man to help him get revenge. ]
[“But he killed Uncle Ben, Aunt May!” Peter looked at Aunt May in confusion. ]
[“Ben was important to all of us,” Aunt May said gently, her voice steady despite the emotion in her eyes. “But he wouldn’t want us to carry hatred in our hearts. Hatred is like a poison, Peter—it consumes you until you become something unrecognizable.”]
Harry looked at Aunt May's words in the screen and felt that she made a lot of sense. Himself in the screen was consumed by hatred, which was why he did what he did in the screen.
Today was the day he visited his dad. His dad Norman Osborn was tied to the bed and looked at Harry, "Don't blame Peter. He did nothing wrong. It's all my fault. I'm relieved to leave the company to you. You are my pride!"
Harry nodded and hugged his dad. His dad is still alive, which was the best reward for him. As he said when he lost his memory in the screen, he could give his life for Peter.
[On a bustling city street, Mary Jane exited a jazz bar. She had recently taken a job as a waitress and part-time singer to make ends meet after losing her Broadway role. The transition from stardom to service work had left her feeling adrift and disheartened.]
[Sitting on a public bench, she stared at her phone, Peter’s name on the screen. Her thumb hovered over the call button before she hesitated and instead dialed Harry’s number.]
[Harry was drawing at home. When he heard his cell phone ring, he walked over and picked it up. "Hello!"]
[“Hey! Harry, Its me. MJ.” Hearing Mary Jane’s voice, Harry smiled and greeted her. ]
[“I want to find someone to accompany me. Are you busy? Can I come to see you?”]
[“Of course! Come over here!” Facing Mary Jane’s question, Harry agreed without hesitation. ]
[“Okay, are you sure I won’t disturb you?”]
[“Of course, I’m fine now, come over!” After getting a definite reply, Mary Jane hung up the phone and prepared to go find Harry. ]
[“Bernard!” Harry shouted upstairs. ]
[“What can I do for you, Master?” Bernard walked out of the room. ]
[“We have guests coming to visit, could you please prepare some food?”]
[“A guest?” Bernard gave him a puzzled look. ]
["Yes! A guest!" Harry confirmed. ]
[But Bernard still didn't quite understand, "Is it a guest or a 'guest'?"]
[Harry urged him unhappily, "Stop asking so many questions and go prepare the food!"]
[“Right away, sir!” Bernard turned and walked out. Harry also shook his head slightly.]
"What does she mean? She find Harry instead of Peter?" Tony didn't quite understand Mary Jane's behavior.
"Maybe it's because she feels that it's hard for her to face Peter? She went from being a star to a bar singer, and this sense of disparity made her afraid to go find Spider-Man."
"It's also possible that their relationship has faded after the fight that day. At least Mary Jane's feelings for Peter Parker have faded."
Pepper was trying to guess Mary Jane's thoughts from a woman's perspective.
After Harry left, Norman looked at Mary Jane on the screen and couldn't help but sigh in his heart. Harry liked Mary Jane too much. He didn't know why Harry liked her so much?
He had just advised Harry, but Harry felt that Mary Jane was not that bad. Norman didn't say anything more to avoid destroying their father-son relationship.
[Meanwhile, Peter sat in his rental room, torn between calling Mary Jane and confronting his growing guilt. He reached for the phone but hesitated, unable to find the right words. At that moment, his landlord, Mr. Dykovich, approached.]
[“Hey! Mr. Dykovich!” Peter greeted him. ]
[Dykovich held an orange in his hand and asked, "Want an orange?" Peter declined his offer and apologized to him.]
[“I’m sorry for what happened earlier. I shouldn’t have complained so loudly about the door. There’s nothing to be angry about.”]
[“It’s okay! But if you feel uneasy, you can buy me a pizza sometime! How about today?” Dykovich smiled and asked Peter to buy him a pizza, and Peter agreed without hesitation.]
[Then Dykovich pointed to the phone and asked, "What's the problem with the phone?"]
[Peter shook his head, "No! I'm just... I'm thinking about what to say!"]
[“If you’re calling a woman, here’s what you say,” Dykovich advised with exaggerated confidence. “‘You are an excellent woman, and I am an excellent man!’ Simple!”]
[After hearing what he said, Peter didn't know what to say, so Dykovich reassured him.]
[Ursula greeted Peter from behind, and Peter responded enthusiastically. Dykovich turned around and told her that Peter was on the phone with a woman.]
[Ursula immediately said, "You're calling Mary Jane? I think that's great..." Ursula was interrupted by her father before she could finish her words.]
[“What’s it to you? Go, go…” He pushed Ursula into the room and encouraged Peter to call Mary Jane. Ursula also encouraged him before closing the door.]
[Peter picked up the phone again after being encouraged. Ursula forgot to say goodbye to Peter, so he opened the door again, said goodbye to him, and then closed the door again.]
Dykovich looked at his daughter and couldn't understand why she liked Peter Parker so much. She didn't know Peter Parker's identity. On the surface, he was just a poor boy who couldn't even pay the rent.
"Dad! You don't understand." Urarsu smiled at him, but she also knew that it was impossible for her and Peter to be together. The popular Spider-Man was not something she could have a future now.
Whenever she thought of this, she felt sad, but fortunately, if Peter was happy, she would be happy too.
She would watch every newspaper article about Spider-Man fighting criminals, but it was a pity that Peter would no longer live in their building.
Chapter 84 Harry’s Memory Recovers
[Peter sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the box containing the Venom suit. His thoughts swirled in a chaotic storm, replaying the events of the past few days. He could feel the weight of Aunt May’s words about forgiveness and the creeping influence of the symbiote.]
[At Harry’s villa, Mary Jane arrived via the elevator. Harry greeted her warmly, his smile lighting up the room.]
["Are you hungry?" Harry asked with enthusiasm. Mary Jane nodded with a faint smile. "Yeah."]
[“Come on! Let’s make something together!” Harry gestured towards the kitchen, and Mary Jane followed, her mood lifting slightly.]
[Music played in the background as they prepared a meal. Harry asked loudly over the music, "Do you like chili?" Mary Jane grinned. "I love it!" she replied. The two began dancing around the kitchen, moving to the rhythm of the music.]
[Harry smiled and turned up the volume of the music. The two began to sway to the rhythm. Mary Jane even improvised a dance.]
[She walked towards Harry while dancing, and pulled Harry to join in the dance. Harry couldn't resist her temptation and danced with her.]
[It wasn't until Mary Jane smelled the burnt butter that Harry reacted and quickly poured the egg liquid in, with Mary Jane helping him.]
[“Well done!” Mary Jane said, giving Harry a playful nudge as he attempted to show off by flipping the eggs in the pan. Half of it ended up on the floor, and they burst into laughter.]
[Mary Jane exclaimed, then looked at the remaining half of the fried egg and smiled: "We can eat this part..."]
[At the dining table, Harry looked at Mary Jane and said, "You've been dreaming..."]
[“It’s just a trick to pass the long night!” Mary Jane read the script Harry had written, but couldn’t help laughing. ]
[Harry was also stunned by her smile and started laughing too.]
[“When did you write it?”]
[“Senior year…”]
[“Very touching!” Mary Jane praised. ]
[“So do you want to play this role?”]
[“I’m so honored to be in your play!” Mary Jane certainly wouldn’t refuse, and Harry immediately happy that she said yes! ]
[After putting down the script, Mary Jane looked at the wound on Harry's forehead and found that there was no scar at all. Then she reached out and touched the place where the wound was originally. ]
[Harry stared blankly at Mary Jane who was so close to him. Mary Jane also noticed that Harry was looking at her intently and couldn't help but kiss him.]
[After the kiss, Mary Jane realized what she had just done. She lowered her head and said, "Sorry!"]
[Harry immediately said: "Me too!"]
[She added, "I didn't mean to do that!"]
[“No, it’s okay, please forgive me!” Harry also knew that he had kissed Peter’s girlfriend. Was this considered cheating on his best friend? ]
[Mary Jane didn't dare to stay here any longer, so she stood up, started to walk out, and Harry immediately followed her.]
[“MJ! MJ! Please!” Harry didn’t know what Mary Jane meant and wanted her to stay, but Mary Jane was determined to leave.]
"Is she lacking love? Or what?" Everyone couldn't understand what Mary Jane was thinking. She flirted with Harry for no reason, then felt she was wrong and ran away.
The question is, what about Harry? Where does she put her boyfriend Peter? Kissing his best friend behind his back?
"Will they fight again because of Mary Jane?" Pepper was a little worried that after the two best friend had finally reconciled, they might ended up fighting again because of a woman named Mary Jane.
"Who knows! Peter Parker and Gwen's kiss can be said to be due to fans' requests, but what about her? She rekindled her old relationship with Harry for no apparent reason?" At this moment Tony deeply understood why The Screen said that Gwen was more suitable for Peter Parker.
Even the landlord's daughter Ursula is better than Mary Jane. She really likes Peter Parker, unlike Mary Jane who falls in love with everyone she meets.
For the first time, Harry felt that Mary Jane was a little strange. Although he was the one who she cheated on, but he was forced to betray his best friend. How could he go to see Peter now? He scratched his head involuntarily.
Uncle Ben had seen long ago that Mary Jane was not a woman who was easily satisfied, so he advised Peter not to be with Mary Jane. Fortunately, Peter let go of his feelings for Mary Jane, which made him feel a lot more relieved.
The people around the world who were watching also began to feel a little disgusted with Mary Jane. Mary Jane herself did not expect that she would do this in The Screen, and for a moment she did not know how to face Harry and Peter.
[After Harry and Mary Jane kissed, he felt restless inside and couldn't help but take off his coat and started to drink.]
[At this moment, a strange voice suddenly sounded around, "You forgot your mission!" Harry looked up at the portrait of Norman in front of him, and many images suddenly flashed through his mind. ]
[The sudden pain made Harry involuntarily avoid Norman's portrait. He turned his head and saw himself in the mirror. He seemed to hear Norman's voice calling him, "Harry!"]
[He looked at himself in the mirror and couldn't help but walk forward to touch himself. When his fingers touched the mirror, he remembered the scene when Norman died.]
[Also, he discovered that Peter was Spider-Man, and heard Norman’s roar: “Avenge me!!!”]
[He recalled the scene when he fought with Peter and hit his head. He couldn't help but cover his head, and the conversation with Peter after waking up in the hospital echoed in his mind.]
[Harry lowered his head in intense pain, and he remembered that he had vowed to make Spider-Man pay with blood. When he raised his head, the person in the mirror had changed from himself to Norman.]
[“Harry! Do you remember me?” Norman looked at him seriously. ]
[“Yes! Dad! I remember!” Harry’s eyes started to turn red. ]
[“I was right about her and Peter! I didn’t see anything wrong! You know you have to do something to make him suffer! Make him live a life worse than death!!!” Harry lowered his head slowly as he listened. ]
[“First, we have to attack his heart!” At this point, Norman’s voice has turned into that of the Green Goblin! ]
[Under the Green Goblin's instigation, Harry's eyes gradually became fierce.]
"Oh no! Harry! He remembered! Is he going to kill Peter again?" Aunt May exclaimed.
"Harry can't hurt Peter, especially when he's wearing Venom Spider suit, but I can't think of how to stop this two borther from fighting each other." Uncle Ben frowned.
"It's because Peter is wearing Venom Spider suit that he can do bad things so easily! Don't forget that the screen said he would watch his best friend die." Aunt May was of course aware of Peter's abilities, but she was worried about another situation.
"Yes, Peter becomes evil when he puts on Venom. He can kill Marko and Harry! Then he regrets it after taking off Venom. This is a very reasonable situation!"
After Aunt May's reminder, Uncle Ben imagined this situation happening and couldn't help but sigh again. This was a situation he absolutely did not want to see.
Nick Fury also thought of this situation. Judging from the previous battle between Peter Parker and Harry, the two were equally matched when Peter Parker did not try his best.
But if he puts on Venom, the existing gap in strength between the two will widen again, and Peter Parker may be influenced by Venom and be ruthless to Harry, so the possibility of accidentally killing Harry is definitely there!
Chapter 85 Peter is broken up
[Mary Jane returned home, her face a mix of exhaustion and worry. As she entered the room, the phone’s incessant beeping caught her attention. She check on the answering machine, and Peter’s voice played through the answering machine.]
[“I want to talk to you about what happened last night. I don’t know what I was thinking. I know you just want to help me, but I... I don’t know how to say it. I want to see you!” Peter's voice was a blend of hope and guilt.]
[Mary Jane stepped closer to the phone, hesitant yet yearning to respond. Just as she reached for it, a strong hand clamped around her neck, lifting her off the ground. Her scream was cut short as she was slammed against the wall.]
[Under the dim light filtering through the window, Harry's face emerged, twisted with fury and malice. He stood atop the Goblin glider, his eyes glinting with vengeance. "If you want Peter to live, you’ll listen to me," he snarled.]
[Mary Jane looked at Harry with horror and strangeness. She had never thought that Harry had such a side.]
[The scene changes to Peter's door. Ursula walks over and knocks on Peter's door. Peter shouts "Come in!"]
[Ursula took a lot of effort to push the door open. After entering, she greeted Peter first. Peter was sitting on a chair looking at her. Ursula felt a little embarrassed for her rough action of opening the door.]
[After seeing Peter, Ursula couldn't stop showing joy on his face. ]
[At Peter's apartment, Ursula hesitated outside the door, clutching her hands nervously. Finally, she mustered the courage to knock.]
["Come in!" Peter's voice called from inside.]
[She pushed the door open with effort and stepped in, her usual shy demeanor evident. “Hey, Peter,” she greeted, her smile small but genuine.]
[Peter, sitting on a chair with a faraway look, turned to her. “Ursula... I’m sorry for snapping earlier,” he said apologetically.]
[“It’s okay. You’re a good person,” she replied, brushing off his concern. "Mary Jane called. She wants to talk to you."]
["Really?" Peter’s eyes lit up with a mix of hope and trepidation. He quickly stood, heading toward the phone Ursula pointed to. “Thank you,” he said earnestly.]
[As Ursula left the room, Peter picked up the phone. “Hi,” Mary Jane’s calm voice came through the receiver, steady but distant.]
["Oh! I'm so glad you called me, I've been..." Peter was interrupted by Mary Jane before he could finish his words. ]
[“Can we meet?” she asked abruptly, her tone carrying an unfamiliar edge.]
[“Of course. Where?” Peter asked eagerly.]
[“At the park bridge,” she replied. “I’ll see you there.”]
"This might be a trap!" Uncle Ben frowned. Harry grabbed Mary Jane and threatened her. There must be some ulterior motive.
Aunt May couldn't help but worry after hearing this. She was also afraid that Peter and Harry would fight and one of them would be killed by mistake.
Tony thought about it and guessed Harry's intention: "Harry might be forcing Mary Jane to break up with Peter Parker to make him feel depressed. This also just proves what the Green Goblin said, attack his heart first!"
[Peter arrived at the park with a bouquet of flowers in hand. He spotted Mary Jane standing on the bridge, her posture tense, her gaze distant. His heart ached as he approached her.]
[Peter praised Mary Jane from a distance before he even got close to her, saying, "You are so beautiful!" Then he walked up to her and showed her the peony in his hand.]
[Mary Jane looked at Peter anxiously. Peter also noticed that Mary Jane seemed not well, so he asked, "Are you okay?"]
[“No! I have to tell you something, Peter!” Peter didn’t know what was going on yet and looked at Mary Jane expectantly. ]
[“There’s a problem with the relationship between you and me.” Peter looked at her with confusion, not understanding what she meant for a moment.]
[“I don’t want to see you again!”]
[“What are you talking about?” Peter asked in disbelief. He couldn’t believe that Mary Jane was going to break up with him all of a sudden.]
[“I... I can’t do this anymore,” she continued, her voice breaking. “When I needed you, you weren’t there. I can’t stand it any longer.”]
[Although Mary Jane was coerced by Harry, this was also her true feelings, but she had always kept it in her heart.]
[“No! Please don’t say that! I know I’ve always been selfish, but I can do better, I can change!” Peter tried to keep Mary Jane’s heart with a sad face. ]
[“It’s not that simple!” Mary Jane said with a double meaning. ]
[“We love each other! I love you! We might have a problem, but when people have problems, they will find a way to solve them. Just talk it out!”]
[Mary Jane turned her head and covered her face, not knowing how to face Peter. Peter took out the ring from his pocket and said, "Look! Look!"]
[Mary Jane raised her head helplessly and sighed. Peter held the ring and expressed his expectations for the two of them, but the last hope in his heart was shattered by Mary Jane's words.]
[“I’m in love with someone else!” Mary Jane said and left, leaving Peter alone in a daze.]
[Harry watched Peter, who was standing on the bridge, walk away in despair from a distance, turned to look at Mary Jane who was walking by, and praised: "Well done!"]
"Harry succeeded. What's next? Harry, how are you going to take revenge on Spider-Man?" Nick Fury looked at Harry's smug smiling face with his one eye, guessing his next move.
"Alas... poor Peter Parker, being played around by others!" Hill sighed, lamenting how difficult it was for Peter Parker and how even his love life was full of twists and turns.
"A good plan on Harry part! Peter, you have to be more careful about the enemy's plots and don't let Gwen get hurt!" George Stacy put down the cutlery, wiped the corners of his mouth, and warned Peter seriously.
Peter nodded, indicating that he would be careful. At this time, Venom came out of his trouser pocket and jumped onto the table. Everyone was immediately startled. Venom turned around and then jumped onto Gwen.
Gwen stared blankly at Venom attaching to her chest, turning into a black spider pattern, and then there was no movement. She looked at Peter, "Peter?"
"I think it means it will protect you..." Peter carefully felt Venom's thoughts and found that it simply wanted to protect Gwen.
"Are you sure it won't hurt or affect Gwen?" George asked, picking up the dropped knife.
"Yeah!" Peter was very sure. George didn't say anything more after seeing this. After all, The Screen said that it would not have any impact anymore.
Gwen touched Venom on her chest, and Venom stretched out its tentacles and hugged her fingers and rubbed them, then retracted them.
[In the restaurant, Peter sat opposite Harry. He had no idea that Harry had recovered his memory and threatened Mary Jane to break up with him.]
[“She said she felt lonely, and I couldn’t help her! She had someone else.” Peter told Harry about Mary Jane’s breakup with him.]
[Harry exhaled, frowned and asked: "So how are you going to bear all this?"]
[“Not very good!” Peter sighed, admitting that he was very uncomfortable and in a very bad mood. ]
[Then to Harry: "Harry, I was going to propose to her!"]
[“Really?” Harry was a little surprised that there was such an unexpected surprise. ]
[“She’s had a hard time lately, regarding her career! I mean, being a singer and hostess in a jazz club is not the job she wants!”]
[“Singer? waitress? What are you talking about?” Peter looked at Harry in confusion. He didn’t know that Mary Jane had been fired.]
[“Uh... she was fired from the theatre; didn’t she tell you?” Harry was also surprised that Peter didn’t know about this. ]
[“She was fired? She was fired, and she told you? But she didn’t tell me?” Peter seemed to realize something and looked at Harry in confusion! ]
