[Reborn as Son Goten] Chapter 201 - 205
Added 2025-01-03 01:00:02 +0000 UTCChapter 201: Goten vs. Whis
The roots of the Cosmic Tree had finally disappeared, bringing peace back to Earth. In the backyard of Bulma's house, Beerus and Whis stood, their expressions calm yet curious.
"Whis, did Goten and the others destroy the Cosmic Tree?" Beerus asked, his tone edged with anticipation.
"I'm not entirely sure," Whis replied, shaking his head lightly. Before they could continue their conversation, a familiar figure materialized in the yard.
It was Goten.
"Goten!" Beerus called out, a small smile playing on his lips. "How is it? Is the problem solved?"
“It’s been taken care of!” Goten replied confidently.
"Really? That’s fantastic!" Beerus said, visibly relieved.
In the Nest of Time, the Space-Time Patrol had returned, eager to report to the Supreme Kai of Time, Chronoa. They explained the events that had unfolded in the main timeline.
"The Ball of Time?" Chronoa asked, frowning as she tried to process the information.
"Yeah," Trunks confirmed, his voice filled with excitement. " Goten said his light ball could make me young again!"
"Rejuvenation?" Chronoa muttered, her fingers tapping thoughtfully against her chin. "Who is this Goten? How can he wield power over time itself?"
Determined to uncover the truth, Chronoa retreated to her office and pulled out the Book of Time. She began flipping through its pages, searching for any mention of Goten.
Three months passed quickly, and life settled into a peaceful rhythm. In just two days, Goten would head to Orange Star City High School to take his entrance examination. Passing it would secure his place at the school.
At home, Goten was busy completing a mock test Gohan had assigned. Thanks to copying Gohan's intellect earlier, he breezed through the questions effortlessly.
"I’m done, brother!" Goten announced, setting his paper aside.
"Alright," Gohan said, collecting the paper and carefully grading it. A satisfied smile spread across his face as he handed it back. "Not bad, Goten. You scored 99 points, but don’t let your guard down. The real test might be even tougher."
"I’ll do my best, brother!" Goten said with a grin.
After a moment, he added, "I’m heading out for a walk."
"Go ahead," Gohan said, nodding his approval.
Goten left the house, eager for some fresh air.
In the God of Destruction’s Realm, Goku, Vegeta, and Broly were immersed in intense training. Whis stood nearby, observing their progress with his usual calm demeanor.
Suddenly, a figure appeared in the distance. It was Goten.
"Goten!" Goku called out, halting his training as he recognized his son.
Whis turned to greet the new arrival, his serene expression unwavering. Goten walked toward him, his movements purposeful.
"Mr. Whis," Goten began, his tone serious. "I have a request."
"Oh? What kind of request?" Whis asked, intrigued.
"I want to fight you," Goten said firmly.
A flicker of surprise crossed Goku’s face, but he quickly composed himself, assuming it was a simple sparring match.
Whis, however, seemed to have anticipated this. "Very well," he replied, his tone light yet deliberate. "Let’s begin."
Without hesitation, Goten nodded. The atmosphere shifted as his energy surged, causing the ground beneath them to tremble. Cracks spread outward, and loose rocks began to levitate.
Goten’s golden aura flared as his hair lengthened and turned a radiant gold. His eyes gleamed with a piercing golden hue.
"Super Saiyan Six," Vegeta muttered, his voice tinged with awe. The sheer power radiating from Goten was overwhelming, shaking the entire realm.
Beerus emerged from his palace, his expression one of disbelief. "What’s going on here?" he demanded, his gaze fixed on Goten.
Goten let out a roar, his energy erupting further and scattering debris in all directions. Whis stood calmly, his staff raised as he prepared for the impending clash.
Goten vanished in an instant, reappearing in front of Whis with blinding speed. He launched a powerful punch, but Whis sidestepped effortlessly, catching Goten’s arm with one hand. The shockwave from the missed punch split the ground beneath them.
Undeterred, Goten followed up with a knee strike, but Whis released his grip and dodged gracefully.
"Not bad," Whis remarked, his tone light yet approving. Letting go of his staff, he raised his hands in a defensive stance.
Goten charged forward, his fists flying at blinding speed. Their movements were so fast that to onlookers, it seemed as though they had hundreds of arms.
Whis countered with precision, his strikes landing occasionally to disrupt Goten’s rhythm. A well-timed blow to Goten’s abdomen sent him skidding back.
Gritting his teeth, Goten flared his aura once more and launched himself at Whis. This time, Whis struck first, delivering a powerful blow to Goten’s stomach. The force sent him hurtling into a nearby mountain, causing an explosion of debris.
Back on Earth, the immense energy of Super Saiyan Six was palpable. The Z Team, along with every warrior capable of sensing Ki, felt Goten’s overwhelming power.
"That energy…" Piccolo murmured, his expression grave.
Even Frieza, aboard his spaceship, felt the overwhelming presence. He clenched his fists, his face contorted with a mix of fear and anger. "A Saiyan stronger than Goku? Impossible!"
Chapter 202: Goten vs. Whis (Part 2)
In the King of the Gods Realm, Old Kai stood solemnly on a grassy plain, his face lined with concern.
"Goten, what on earth is he thinking? Challenging Whis like that!" Old Kai muttered, crossing his arms.
"Grand Kai, isn’t this just sparring?" Supreme Kai Shin asked, his tone uncertain.
Old Kai sighed heavily. "I don’t know. But if they go all out, the consequences could be catastrophic for the universe!"
"Catastrophic consequences?" Shin echoed, his eyes widening.
"Both of them are stronger than Lord Beerus. Do you think such a battle wouldn’t affect the universe?" Old Kai snapped.
Shin nodded reluctantly. "You’re right. It’s hard to imagine the scale of destruction they might cause."
Old Kai glanced at Shin, shaking his head in exasperation. He still couldn’t comprehend how Shin had become a Supreme Kai.
Back in the God of Destruction’s Realm, Goten stood tall as his Super Saiyan 6 form shimmered. However, realizing that this power wasn’t enough to defeat Whis, Goten let his body relax. His golden hair and eyes transformed, becoming a brilliant silver as a vast silver-white aura surrounded him.
This was Ultra Instinct perfected.
Whis narrowed his eyes, intrigued. "Ah, so you’re finally ready to reveal your true strength. Very well, let’s see what you’re truly capable of."
Without warning, Whis disappeared and reappeared before Goten, his movements faster than light. A beam of white energy surged from Whis’ hand, hurtling toward Goten. Reacting instinctively, Goten raised his arms to block, but the force sent him flying backward.
Before Goten could regain his footing, Whis was upon him, delivering a flurry of punches at speeds that seemed impossible to follow. Goten crossed his arms defensively, but each blow pushed him back further, his feet dragging across the ground.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
The relentless assault culminated in a devastating knee strike to Goten’s abdomen. The force propelled him backward, slamming him into a distant mountain. The collision sent a massive cloud of dust and debris into the air.
Whis raised his hand, unleashing a barrage of energy blasts that lit up the sky. Each blast hit the mountain with resounding booms, shaking the entire realm.
Amidst the chaos, Goten’s roar pierced through the air. His silver aura flared brilliantly, creating a shield that deflected the incoming energy waves.
"Ahhh!" Goten’s shout reverberated as he vanished in a flash of silver light, appearing directly in front of Whis. He launched a powerful punch, but Whis countered with a series of blows so fast that they appeared as a cascade of white streaks.
The battle intensified. Their fists and kicks collided with deafening force, each blow creating shockwaves that rippled through the realm. The sheer intensity of their fight was palpable, the air vibrating with their energy.
Far away in Universe 6, Vados paused mid-flight, her attention drawn to the immense energy emanating from their clash. Even she could feel the tremors of their battle.
In the Grand Zeno Palace, the Grand Priest watched the confrontation through his staff, his expression calm but curious.
"Goten…" he murmured, a flicker of surprise in his usually composed demeanor. "To think a mortal could match Whis in combat…"
Meanwhile, Goku, Vegeta, and Broly watched from a safe distance, their eyes wide with astonishment.
"That’s Goten?" Goku whispered, unable to believe what he was seeing.
Boom!
A massive explosion sent shockwaves tearing through the landscape. The resulting energy storm expanded outward, creating a dome of destruction. Above it, two figures continued their battle, their movements too fast for the naked eye.
With a thunderous impact, their fists collided, generating a storm so violent it shattered the space around them. Cracks in the void appeared, each one threatening to expand into a dimensional rift.
"A rift in another dimension!" Beerus exclaimed, his face paling. He knew the danger these cracks posed—they could swallow entire planets if left unchecked.
Goten’s eyes flicked toward the rift. With a determined expression, he pushed Whis back and channeled his energy. Using the power of time manipulation, he sealed the rift, restoring stability to the realm.
Whis paused, observing Goten’s actions with a faint smile. "Impressive," he said, before resuming his attack.
The two fighters clashed once more, their bodies blurring into streaks of silver light. From a distance, it looked like countless flashes were darting through the sky.
Bang! Boom!
Goten’s body plummeted like a meteor, crashing into the ground with a deafening thud. Dust and debris erupted, obscuring the battlefield.
As the dust settled, Goten rose from the massive crater, his breathing heavy but his resolve unshaken. A grin spread across his face as he charged at Whis, his body glowing with renewed energy.
Whis moved to intercept, the two engaging in another exchange of lightning-fast blows. Their Ki radiated outward, creating ripples in the fabric of space. Nearby, uninhabited planets crumbled to dust, unable to withstand the residual energy from their fight.
High above the God of Destruction’s Realm, Goten and Whis locked hands, their gazes intense as they pushed against each other with all their might. Their auras flared, creating waves of pressure that spread across the universe.
"Ahhh!" Goten roared, his strength surging as he managed to push Whis back slightly.
Whis exhaled slowly, his breathing labored. "You’ve grown strong, Goten," he admitted. "But this isn’t over yet."
Goten smirked, though he, too, was breathing heavily. He hadn’t expected Whis to be this powerful. Despite giving it his all, he still hadn’t managed to gain the upper hand.
Chapter 203: Super Saiyan VII Advancement Card
After a brief rest, Whis reappeared in front of Goten in a blink, his movements faster than light. Without hesitation, he launched a flurry of punches, each one traveling at unimaginable speed.
Goten reacted swiftly, dodging while countering with strikes of his own. Their movements blurred into countless silver flashes, lighting up the universe as the battle raged on. The violent storms caused by their clash swept outward, spreading across the cosmos.
In the God of Destruction’s Realm, Vegeta and Beerus stood on edge, their gazes fixed on the distant battlefield. Both men gritted their teeth in frustration.
"Once, the gap between us and Goten wasn’t this wide," Vegeta muttered, his pride stinging.
Beerus sighed heavily. "And now… in just a few years, he’s reached a level where he can fight Whis on equal footing. It’s infuriating." His voice held a tinge of jealousy.
Beerus had lived for hundreds of millions of years, yet his strength paled in comparison to Goten, who was only seventeen. The thought was almost unbearable.
BANG!
Goten was suddenly hurled backward, his body streaking across the void like a comet. Gritting his teeth, he clenched his fists and slowed his momentum, halting himself in midair.
"Ahhh!"
With a loud cry, Goten unleashed a barrage of energy blasts, hundreds of them firing from his hands in rapid succession. The glowing spheres streaked toward Whis like a meteor shower.
Whis, unfazed, dodged effortlessly, weaving between the attacks with grace. As the barrage ceased, Goten wasted no time. He surged forward at superluminal speed, his fist striking so fast it created invisible ripples in space.
Despite Whis’ agility, Goten’s punch connected from behind, sending the angel reeling. Goten seized the moment, appearing in front of Whis and delivering a devastating blow to his abdomen with all his might.
Whis cried out as he was flung backward, his body glowing like a streak of light.
"Kamehameha!"
Clasping his hands together, Goten condensed a massive blue energy wave and unleashed it toward Whis. The blast tore through space, its brilliance lighting up the dark void. Whis raised his hands, creating a shield to block the attack.
"Ahhh!" Goten roared, pouring every ounce of his strength into the Kamehameha. The sheer force overwhelmed Whis, pushing him back until the energy wave detonated in a colossal explosion.
A massive blue storm swept across the cosmos, the shockwave spreading in all directions. When the smoke and debris finally cleared, Goten heard a familiar voice.
"Ding! Congratulations to the master for defeating Whis and obtaining the Super Saiyan VII Advancement Card."
The system's voice echoed in Goten’s mind.
"Master, would you like to use the Super Saiyan VII Advancement Card?"
"Use it!" Goten replied without hesitation.
"Yes!"
As the system confirmed, Goten felt an immense surge of power course through his body. His energy swelled, his aura shining brighter than ever before.
As the smoke dissipated, Whis’ figure emerged. His clothes were tattered, large holes torn through the fabric. Despite his appearance, he carried himself with composure.
Goten clenched his fists, ready to continue the fight. However, Whis raised a hand.
"No more," Whis said, his voice calm but firm. "I concede."
Hearing this, Goten let his energy subside, his body returning to its normal state.
The two fighters returned to the God of Destruction’s Realm. Whis retrieved his staff from the ground and, with a wave, restored his clothing.
"Whis actually lost," Beerus murmured, his disbelief evident.
"Yes, Lord Beerus," Whis confirmed. "Goten is the strongest mortal I have ever seen, and he’s only seventeen. His potential is limitless."
Beerus’ expression grew serious. "Strongest? If more mortals like Goten appear, I’ll be surpassed in no time."
Whis chuckled. "Lord Beerus, you worry too much. Besides, I’ll always be here to protect you."
"I don’t care," Beerus grumbled. "I want to get stronger."
"Very well, Lord Beerus," Whis said with a smile. "Starting tomorrow, you’ll train with Goku and the others."
Beerus nodded.
"Then, Lord Beerus, Dad, if there’s nothing else, I’ll head back to Earth," Goten said.
"Go ahead," Goku replied.
With a nod, Goten teleported away.
In the Grand Zeno Palace, the Grand Priest observed the battle’s conclusion through his staff. Seeing Goten’s victory, he sighed thoughtfully.
"A mortal with such strength…" he muttered, his gaze lingering on Goten’s image before turning to other matters.
Two days later, Goten took the entrance exam for Orange Star High School. He passed with flying colors and was officially admitted.
At Bulma’s house, Trunks threw an arm around Goten’s shoulder, grinning.
"Congratulations on getting into the same high school as me, Goten!"
"Don’t congratulate me," Goten replied, shrugging. "I don’t even want to study."
Trunks laughed. "You’re so different from your brother. Gohan’s a scholar now!"
"My brother is my brother. I’m me," Goten said, smirking.
"Fair enough. You definitely take after your dad more," Trunks teased.
As they talked, Marron descended from the sky, landing lightly before them.
"Brother Goten, Brother Trunks!" she called out.
Trunks smirked knowingly. "You’re here to see Goten, aren’t you?"
Marron’s cheeks flushed red. "No! I just wanted to know if Brother Goten passed the entrance exam for Orange Star High School!"
"He passed," Trunks said, grinning.
"Really? That’s wonderful!" Marron exclaimed. "Which class were you assigned to, Goten?"
"The third class," Goten replied.
"Me too!" Marron said excitedly.
"Well then," Trunks said, laughing. "I’ll leave you two to talk. I don’t want to be a third wheel."
Marron’s face turned even redder. "Trunks!"
"Trunks!" Goten yelled, glaring at his friend.
Trunks took off running. "Catch me if you can!"
"Don’t run!" Goten shouted, chasing after him.
Two days later, Goten arrived at Orange Star High School with a cross-body bag slung over his shoulder. His outstanding exam scores had already made an impression, and his homeroom teacher greeted him warmly.
"Goten-san, could you introduce yourself to the class?"
Goten nodded. "My name is Goten. I’m seventeen years old, and I enjoy practicing martial arts."
"Practicing martial arts?" The students murmured among themselves, intrigued by his introduction.
Marron, sitting among the students, leaned toward her classmates and whispered proudly, "Goten-nii is the strongest person in the universe!"
"The strongest in the universe?" one student asked skeptically. "Stronger than Mr. Satan?"
Chapter 204: Trunks Wants to Become Stronger
A male classmate in the classroom scoffed. "Better than Mr. Satan? That’s hard to believe."
Marron, her temper flaring, shot back, "If you doubt it, why don’t you find out for yourself?"
The boy shrugged nonchalantly, clearly unimpressed. Marron’s frustration was evident as she glared at him.
The homeroom teacher, sensing the tension, intervened. "Alright, Goten-san, please take a seat."
"Sure," Goten replied, nodding as he descended from the stage.
"Brother Goten, over here!" Marron called, waving enthusiastically.
Goten made his way to the seat beside Marron. As he sat down, a girl with long black hair leaned toward Marron with curiosity.
"Do you know him?" she asked, her tone intrigued.
"Of course!" Marron replied with pride. "Brother Goten’s father and my dad are best friends."
"Brother?" the girl echoed.
"Yep! My dad used to be a martial artist too," Marron added.
"That’s interesting," the girl remarked.
Marron turned to Goten with a smile. "Brother Goten, let me introduce my friend Yiran. She’s been my best friend since I joined this school."
"Hello," Goten greeted Yiran with a polite smile.
"Hi," Yiran replied, nodding shyly.
As Goten settled into his seat, Yiran smirked playfully at Marron. "You two seem close. Is there something going on between you?"
Marron’s cheeks flushed instantly. "No… no, we’re just friends!"
"Really?" Yiran teased before the start of class interrupted their conversation.
When the bell rang for the first break, Goten found himself surrounded by curious classmates eager to learn more about him.
"You like martial arts, right?" one boy asked. "Why not join our baseball club?"
"Thanks, but I’m not interested," Goten replied.
"What about the tennis club?" another asked.
"Nope," Goten said flatly.
"How about karate?" a third chimed in.
Still, Goten shook his head. "Not my thing."
The boy looked puzzled. "But you said you liked martial arts. Why not karate?"
"I practice the martial arts of the turtle school," Goten explained.
" the turtle school?" the boy asked, frowning in confusion. "What’s that?"
"You wouldn’t understand even if I explained," Goten said with a dismissive shrug.
The earlier boy, who had doubted Goten, smirked. "Marron said you’re the strongest in the universe. Is that true?"
"She was just exaggerating," Goten replied with a laugh.
Marron crossed her arms, annoyed. "I wasn’t exaggerating!"
The boy laughed smugly. "As if someone stronger than Mr. Satan exists."
Goten smiled, choosing not to engage. Marron, however, wasn’t as restrained. "What’s so great about Mr. Satan? His daughter married Goten’s brother!"
The classroom fell silent.
"Wait, you’re saying Mr. Satan’s daughter married Goten-san’s brother?" a girl asked in disbelief.
"That’s right," Marron said proudly. "Look it up if you don’t believe me. His brother’s name is Gohan, and he’s a scholar now."
One boy quickly pulled out his phone and searched online. His jaw dropped when he saw the results. "She’s right. Mr. Satan’s daughter, Videl, is married to Gohan."
The doubting boy scoffed. "That doesn’t prove anything."
Marron rolled her eyes. "Did I mention Goten’s dad was once the champion of the World Martial Arts Tournament?"
Gasps filled the room.
"The World Martial Arts Tournament?" someone echoed.
"That’s right. And Goten even won the youth division once!" Marron said triumphantly.
The doubter paled, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. The implications of Goten’s lineage and accomplishments were sinking in.
"Alright, Marron, that’s enough," Goten said, trying to diffuse the attention.
"Why stop, Brother Goten? I haven’t even mentioned your grandfather or Master Roshi yet," Marron teased.
"Marron!" Goten exclaimed, exasperated.
"Fine, fine," Marron relented, but her grin didn’t fade.
Meanwhile, the doubting boy slunk back to his seat, clearly regretting his earlier remarks. Goten, however, found himself surrounded by an increasing number of female classmates.
"Wow, Goten is so handsome," one whispered.
"And he’s smart and athletic," another added.
Marron watched the scene unfold, jealousy bubbling beneath the surface. Before she could dwell on it further, a voice called from the doorway.
"Trunks-senpai!" a quiet girl with glasses exclaimed, her face lighting up.
Trunks strode confidently into the classroom, his presence commanding attention. As the heir to Capsule Corporation, Trunks was both famous and admired. His combination of wealth and charm made him a favorite among the students.
Trunks scanned the room, his gaze settling on Goten. "There you are," he said with a smirk.
"Senior Trunks, are you here for someone?" the girl asked shyly.
"Yeah, I’m here to see Goten," Trunks replied.
"Goten-san knows Trunks-senpai?" someone whispered.
"They must be close," another added.
Marron chuckled at their surprise. "They’ve been best friends since childhood."
The murmurs of astonishment grew louder.
Meanwhile, Goten walked over to meet Trunks. "What’s up, Trunks?"
"How’s your first day going?" Trunks asked.
"It’s fine, but I’d rather be training," Goten admitted.
Trunks nodded knowingly. "I feel the same way. But Goten, I want to get stronger."
"Stronger?" Goten asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah. Is there anything you can suggest?"
Goten thought for a moment before replying. "If you’re willing to put in the work, you could train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber."
Chapter 205: Calm
The day passed quickly. Goten’s exceptional skills and personality had made him the center of attention, and soon he was the talk of the school. Unable to train during the day due to his studies, Goten requested Bulma to build a gravity room for him, allowing him to train after school.
Time flew by, and a month passed in peace. During this time, Goten had become something of a celebrity at Orange Star High School. His popularity, however, didn’t sit well with a few jealous classmates. They went so far as to hire thugs to "teach him a lesson." The plan backfired spectacularly. Not only did Goten defeat the thugs, but he also turned the tables, having the gangsters target the very boys who hired them.
Meanwhile, Trunks followed Goten’s advice and entered the Spirit Time Chamber. Training for the equivalent of four years, Trunks achieved the transformation into Super Saiyan Blue, a feat that filled him with pride and determination.
One afternoon, Goten sat in the backyard of Trunks’ house, munching on a freshly washed apple. Trunks stood nearby, his energy exuding a newfound confidence.
"Goten," Trunks said, his tone eager, "I’ve finally done it. I can transform into Super Saiyan Blue, just like my father and the others. Can you teach me Uncle Goku’s Ultra Instinct?"
Goten took another bite of his apple before answering. "Ultra Instinct requires more than training—it’s about talent. Whis taught Uncle Vegeta the technique, but he couldn’t master it."
Trunks’ excitement dimmed slightly. "So, what should I do if I want to get even stronger?"
"If Ultra Instinct isn’t an option, you could learn Beerus’ God of Destruction techniques," Goten suggested casually.
"God of Destruction techniques?" Trunks asked, intrigued.
"In simpler terms, think of it as a destructive power similar to Ultra Instinct," Goten explained.
Trunks nodded thoughtfully. "That might be worth a try. By the way, my mom said Dad would be back today. Do you think your dad will return too?"
Goten grinned. "If Uncle Vegeta’s coming back, it’s a safe bet my dad will be here too."
As if on cue, a purple cube descended from the sky, landing gracefully in the yard. This was Whis’ transport block. The cube opened, and seven figures emerged: Beerus, Whis, Goku, Vegeta, Broly.
"Dad!" Trunks called, waving.
Vegeta nodded at his son. "Where’s Bulla?" he asked.
"She’s inside," Trunks replied.
Whis turned to Trunks. "And Bulma?"
"She’s at the company but should be back soon."
"Perfect," Whis said, smiling. "In that case, I’ll handle the food order. Lord Beerus, what would you like?"
Beerus immediately rattled off a long list of dishes. Whis then turned to Goku and the others.
"What about you all?"
Goku shrugged. "I’m fine with anything."
Broly nodded. "Same here."
Whis used an Earth phone to order a variety of meals. By the time the food arrived, Bulma had returned from work.
"Long time no see, Bulma," Whis greeted.
"Yes, it’s been a while," Bulma replied, her gaze shifting to Vegeta. He was playing with Bulla on the grass. Sensing her eyes on him, Vegeta quickly straightened up and moved to sit beside Goku.
"Vegeta?" Goku asked, confused by his friend’s sudden movement.
Vegeta avoided eye contact. He knew that every time he returned from training, Bulma would scold him for not spending enough time with their children. This time, he hoped to avoid the lecture altogether.
Bulma, however, approached with a knowing smile. "Relax, Vegeta. I won’t say anything about your training anymore."
"Really?" Vegeta asked, his expression brightening.
"Of course," Bulma said. "By the way, Trunks trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and can transform into Super Saiyan Blue now."
Vegeta’s eyes widened. "The Hyperbolic Time Chamber?"
"Yes, Dad," Trunks confirmed. "I trained there for four years."
"Four years? But isn’t it impossible to stay more than two years? The entrance closes after that," Vegeta said, frowning.
"It does," Trunks explained. "But I used a Super Saiyan 3 roar to create an exit "
"A roar?" Vegeta repeated.
"Yep, but you need to be at least Super Saiyan 3 to generate enough power," Trunks clarified. "Goten told me about it."
Vegeta turned to Goten, who stayed silent but gave a small nod.
Whis, sensing the conversation winding down, spoke up. "Shall we eat now?"
"Let’s do it!" Goku agreed enthusiastically.
The Saiyans wasted no time, devouring the food with astonishing speed. Plates were emptied in record time, much to the amusement of the others, who had grown used to their voracious appetites.
After finishing his meal, Goku stood up. "Lord Beerus, Whis, I’m heading home for a while. I haven’t been back in a long time."
"Go ahead," Whis said, nodding.
In a flash, Goku teleported himself and Goten back to their home.
At home, Chi-Chi greeted them with joy. "Goku! You’re back!"
"Grandpa!" Pan, now four years old, ran to Goku with excitement.
Goku scooped her up, smiling warmly. "You’ve grown, Pan."
Pan giggled and snuggled into her grandfather’s arms. "Grandpa, you’re not leaving again to train, right?"
"Uh…" Goku hesitated, scratching his nose.
"Goku," Chi-Chi said sternly, "Pan wants you here. You wouldn’t refuse her, would you?"
"Of course not," Goku said quickly. "I’ll stay home for a few days."
"Good," Chi-Chi said, though her tone softened slightly.
"Where’s Gohan?" Goku asked.
"He’s at work. Not everyone has the luxury of training all the time like you," Chi-Chi replied.
