2025-12-17 16:23:51 +0000 UTCThis is my first time watching but even I understood first time. Roger's fake wig hairs did not match crime scene DNA because they were snythetic hairs. Dexter then got his actual DNA and it was a match to the crime scenes. I do hope you realize that your specific DNA is not on government file unless you've committed a crime and were booked.

2025-12-12 08:26:12 +0000 UTCI too love 12 step and one thing I wish the show highlighted was the importance of Rita getting some al anon work done… because addiction is just the person who is an addict, it’s all of the support people around them that have been enabled it so it would’ve been a good opportunity to highlight that. One way we know she hasn’t done any 12 step work is because she feels like she can help him and she really needs to just help herself 👍

2025-12-10 02:23:13 +0000 UTCAs someone who’s been through a 12-step program and worked the steps multiple times, the diner scene with Lila and Dexter hits differently when you view Dexter as a real addict. Lila is actually saying the right things. When she tells him, “There’s no way I can possibly know what you’ve been through,” it perfectly reflects the truth of the rooms: everyone there has lived through their own hell, and you’re not uniquely broken or special in your suffering. The moment you accept that you belong there—truly accept it—is the moment you can actually start to heal. As the season progresses you'll realize Lila is a terrible sponsor but the diner scene was legitimate, and in a real meeting several men would have approached Dexter to offer kindness and support. It's an unwritten rule that men sponsor men and women sponsor women. Anyways I'm rambiling. If anyone is struggling reach out and def find a program! If does work if you put the effort in. One day at a time.
