Patreon changes
Added 2022-08-12 03:39:32 +0000 UTCI think I'd like to change my Tiers soon, so I'm asking for your opinion.
I'd like to have only a single $5.00 Tier with all my content (personal and fanart), and get rid of the system with three different Tiers.
In the beginning I created two different tiers, one for fanart and one for personal art, and then a $8.00 Tier that combines them both. I did it because I know some people don't like fanart and don't wanna see it, and other people like fanart but don't care much for personal art.
But so far most of my patreons are subscribed to the Tier that combines them both anyway, so maybe it's better if I do it that way to make things easier.
The new Tier would be cheaper. Instead of charging $8.00 I'd charge $5.00. It feels like a more reasonable price for the content I'm offering.
Thoughts? Is it difficult for patreons to switch between Tiers?

I charge my tiers base on what project I'm working on. Like $1 for me to post NSFW artwork, it should be free but those art can't be in public post. $3 only for any artwork I make with variations. $5 for animation or any small game project I make and $10 for big game project or any project that suitable for that tier. But at the end, I just want everyone to be able to enjoy my creations. As in your case, $5 sounds like a good deal. You're still in early stage so experiment and changing tiers is normal to get the right amount for your work.

2022-08-12 17:50:03 +0000 UTCI think it'd be way easier for you to only have to focus on a single tier, rather than worrying if you've justified the price for a few specific channels, yeah. I can't really speak to the pricing but 5 bucks seems like a good spot to be in. You could always add in higher tiers later!

Se entiende que la gente tenga diferentes preferencias pero tecnicamente lo unico que tienen que hacer si no les gusta uno u el otro es nada mas buscar el que les interese mas. Ademas de que creo que Patreon te deja usar hashtags, asi que podrias usar eso para separarlos
