Zola comic: First impressions
Added 2023-03-30 02:46:57 +0000 UTCHi everyone! Ok, so here's the first 2 pages, plus some colour sketches from page 3. I don't know if you want big written updates, so I'll write one anyway and if I get a lot of response I'll keep doing them. So at this point we know Zola is trying to escape but we don't know who is trying to capture her. Everything is supossed to look weird and artificial in this first area, for reasons you'll find out later. I updated Zola's colours last-minute to be a bit more visually interesting. I feel like adding black to the design also drives Zola's skin tone lighter in comparison. Since we haven't met her family yet I can work with this, I don't want to change her skin tone because I selected a dark colour that goes well with the cyberpunk palette I'm going for. Would character stat pages be something interesting that you would want to see? Are the backgrounds fine? I want them to be simple and quick unless it's something I can have 3D modeled. Secondly I'm a bit worried a few people will be turned off by the dialogue and story that isn't just "here's kinky sex" but I'm going to try my best for the sex to support the story, and the dialogue to contextualise the sex. Sound good? or? Update done, please give me feedback I want to make something you all love. Also thanks for upgrading your subscription, it gives me more time to work on this project.
