Three Draw Steel Encounters... But, Like, Codex

Hello humans! Djordi here. Willy gave you some Draw Steel encounters for Halloween that you could use to insert into your ongoing adventures or spin up new stories. Even though Halloween is over, it's BACK BABY, just like Jack Skellington.

Three new Draw Steel encounters are available in the Codex. These are the Codified versions of the Three Draw Steel Encounters Patreon post from Willy. You can add these encounters to your game by installing the Three Draw Steel Encounters module in the Codex (module code mcdm-getthesword). These encounters include:

• Race to the Sword, a combat encounter in which the heroes must retrieve an ancient sword in the woods before radenwight mercenaries do

• A Chase Through a Trap Riddled Swamp, a montage encounter hot on the heels of a villain trailing deeper into a treacherous and foggy bog

• Negotiation with a Thief, a negotiation encounter with a young pickpocket who has the deets about her employer that the heroes might be looking for

These encounters are part of our effort to standardize the way in which we Codify Draw Steel adventures, making sure everything carries over nicely from analog to digital form. Additionally, Codex version 0.0.629+15 is now available.

• New interface on the character sheet to make skill selection easy, and to flag duplicate skills being chosen.

• Improved interface for complications. We are starting to automate the complications!

• Fix to a bug where some triggered abilities such as Skin Like Castle Walls that were only meant to affect one target affected all targets.

• Many other bug fixes!

Downloading Modules

To download the module, you'll go to your Codex menu and select Download Module:

Then you can search for mcdm-getthesword, if the module isn't already sorted to the top of your list:
