Ooookay, so the thing with the Cosmere as a whole is... you've really not actually touched on it, and what you have gotten has been out of order so lacking some of the context or set up to better notice the small details adding up. Right now, it is just background to things, it's not till near the end of Era-2 that it really starts going full force and becomesa major part of the story. I don't get the idea of Shallan's final revelation being rushed, given it really wasn't giving us much new, all the clues about what happened were there, this was just laying out the exact details, about the only real reveal that wasn't set up pretty clearly with small bits throughout was the reason this all went down, which adds it's own new layer of implications. There are still a lot of unanswered questions about her passed when you look at things. Same for the ending in Stormalot, we really did need some kind of pay off to finding it and getting to see what this place was, as well as set up for where things are going from here. It was a great little wind down from the big battle, payoff to the hunt for the city, and setting up things to go forward in Oathbringer without needing to start off with a bunch of housekeeping from the previous book. Now do you need anymore proof of Adolin being just.. the best? he killed Sadeus just cause the dude needed a killing. Whoooo! As to the other death.... how did Szeth die in your version? because there are two different ways that scene plays out, cause Sanderson edited it after the first publication when he realized parts of it don't make sense. For Lopin... keep in mind another remark that a lot of the Bridgemen looked like they were glowing slightly just before Kaladin arrived on scene.... Glad you liked this! It gets even better on a reread as you notice all the tiny things you missed the first time, and with greater context for the Cosmere as a whole!
