Indeed that's what I had in mind! Someday I'd like to experiment with it, but it'll take some time before I find a doable solution :P

2024-06-16 02:38:26 +0000 UTCI don't know blender, but I think in this case you'd probably need to fake it without fluid sims. If you can hand animate the condom expansion to look good, a simple particle system can cover the rest just fine. You can simplify it further by starting with an opaque one so you don't have to worry about animating the "fake" fluid inside, if that works then the rest seems fairly straightforward beyond being more stuff to animate. At least this is the approach I'd take in a game engine. There might be less dumb approaches in blender; or reasons why this won't work in blender. It's also still a lot more work, which might be a non-starter with your schedule.

2024-06-15 23:48:08 +0000 UTCI wish that'd be possible! I'd make tons of animations like this :P Unfooooortunately cloth sims and fluid sims don't interact in blender 😭 Hopefuly I'll find a workaround some day
