Hello! Its photoset day!

Im finally officially home now back from Japan anddddd with a fever whoo.

My trip was very much equal parts wonderful and absolutely miserable for many different reasons....so so soooo many things went horribly wrong....... 🫠🫠🫠 if i ever wake up again at 3 am to absolutely oppressive sewage smell that doesnt go away it will be too early.

But yes ultimately i already want to go back despite the hardships that i will be venting to my therapist about. I was able to still enjoy myself and i just wish if i can go back i can avoid the things that made the previous trip bad.

Honestly my favorite part was just walking the cities with no real destination. I love just Sort of avoiding heavy tourist areas where I can to go into quieter spots and appreciate the nature and architecture. And boy does japan making walking everywhere so lovely.

Crazy a country that doesn't unceremoniously plow down their nature to build their metropolis. Crazy that in the middle of tokyo, you still find massive parks with ancient trees. Parks where you can hardly see the city and you definitely cant hear the bustle. It's just quiet. And they've left their trees for the most part everywhere on city roads providing shade and sound buffering gods i loved it.

The nature and the appreciation of it was definitely my favorite. And really special when we got to go to the countryside up a mountain on a buddhist pilgrimage hiking trail. That was the japan i really wanted to see.

Anyways! Im back home now a little bit worse for wear but also content. Weird times. Gotta kick this fever tho thats for sure.
