Membership Type

To better configure your online experience in the club, how would you feel if we added many toggles and a membership type that would allow you to use these toggles or not? There would be two types of toggles and they would only affect the multiplayer side of the game:

Casual toggles: for casual players, these toggles would allow you to not be affected by blindness, by gags, by deafness, by sensory deprivation, by blocking items, by items that stops you or slow you down when leaving a room, etc.

Hardcore toggles: these would be extra immersion options to give you more trouble: no safeword, no rescue maid, no chastity removal with the club Mistress, automatically be dragged to your owner room when beeped, etc.

These toggles would be available for you or not, depending on your membership type:

Casual member: The casual member would have access to all toggles, all the time, without restriction.

Regular member (default): The regular member would only have access to the hardcore toggles. All the casual toggles would be disabled and deactivated.

Hardcore member: The hardcore member wouldn’t have access to any toggle. All casual toggles would be deactivated, and all hardcore toggles would be activated, without any user control.

When you check someone’s profile, you will be able to see what kind of member they are and for how long they are using that membership type. For example: (Member type: Hardcore for 7 days).

In the management room, the club Mistress would allow you to change your membership type (maybe force a time delay between changes) and will explain the details of each membership type.

When you create an online chat room, you would be able to select (with check boxes) which type of members are accepted in that chat room, by default we would allow all membership types. Players that are not allowed in these chat rooms would not find them when they search or be able to join them.

How do you feel about that system? Thanks!

I don't think casual players would want to go hardcore. And it would be too easy for hardcore players to cheat and simply go in casual rooms. I'm not sure of the best solution here.

Bondage Projects

I think it would be better to instead block rooms, have room toggles that override the player toggles (to an extent.) Maybe some people like hardcore, but don’t want to be blocked from casual rooms.

Yeah, I'm not sure about locking rooms either. But if some players want to build "escape rooms" where you need to be restricted. Or players want to build a chill room simply to talk without any hardcore players, it's nice to give them the options. I'll think about it thanks :)

Bondage Projects

I don't like the idea of adding the option to "Block out" people under a different ruleset with a room toggle. I feel it'll just be enough giving every player their own options for their own toggles, without restricting room access. I know more than a few people who would completely black out the softcore settings entirely, and I know there's others in the club that would do the same in a heartbeat.

Yes, there no "permission level" right now, it's all or nothing. Maybe someday we'll expand that system. Thanks :)

Bondage Projects

Hard to complain about giving people options. But if I were making requests, I'd like to see layers to the permission system. Right now, Person K is either: "Can not pet my head while I'm in bondage", or "can instantly slap me with any restraint in the club, without me even knowing about it till after I'm restrained."

Aylea

Great! I'm glad you're having fun :)

Bondage Projects

Ah okay. I absolutely love the game though and can’t wait to see how it continues to progress

HEROXWAR113

Yes, it's mostly for roleplay.

Bondage Projects

So another thing I’ve noticed on the side I’m not sure if it’s a bug or just not implemented in yet. But the chloroform gag and the sleeping pill don’t work

HEROXWAR113

I'm not sure about a visitor status, players that create hardcore rooms would probably not want visitors snooping around, or they would allow casual players. Most rooms will probably be created for everyone though, if they want to be popular.

Bondage Projects

I'm thinking about something like that. Or maybe prevent the user from going back into hardcore for a while after leaving.

Bondage Projects

Suggestion: if you leave the hardcore mode, the changes will only take effect after 24 hours in order to prevent you from leaving it quickly.

Greendragon

What about a status of visitor? You can be interested to observe the game in a room that does not correspond to your personal mode and observing can sometimes be a first step before playing in a new mode. Also it prevents to separate players, because many players have friends with very different interests and game levels/modes. It would be annoying to be forced to beep someone who is in a public room you can't access, just because the mode of this room does not correspond to your personal mode.

Thanks! I don't think casual players would want to go hardcore though, that's a little extreme. I'll think about that one.

Bondage Projects

I like the idea of the toggles very much. However I do not like the room separation idea at all. Perhaps instead of hiding rooms, when you enter a room with a different mode than the one you have, that just temporarily you are placed into the same mode as the room...ie (you are a casual person and enter a hardcore room, you will become a hardcore until you leave)

CryptoGore68

Of course you will still be able to see your lover and owner. Yes, having an hardcore and casual mode will be too harsh for some and too soft for others, that's why everyone will be able to select the type of experience they prefer. Thanks :)

Bondage Projects

I agree with the 'hiding from one another'. Though, if you are going to make your owner and lovers able to see you nonetheless it wouldnt even be that bad...But! I would also be against the idea of such rooms. The idea with the toggles on the other side is really nice...It adds a bit 'risk' to the game...at least if you dont have too many 'soft' friends, hehe ~ ...For the 'casual' toggle I would think that the game as it is right now is casual enough..removing every kind of restriction from someone is just going to end up with some trolls or the shy people to never step over their own shadow. Always think about what this game is about and dont make it so it loses its foundation, being at a bondage club should lead to you being tied...or too intimidating to get tied and tie others instead ~

"When you create an online chat room, you would be able to select (with check boxes) which type of members are accepted in that chat room" How subs can get away from doms. How to separate lovers and how to truly screw your game. The modes are enough. It goes against the very inclusive nature of this game.
