Profit Sharing
Added 2020-06-17 15:17:41 +0000 UTCHi everyone. Thanks to Patreon, the game generates some profit each month. Nothing huge and it fluctuates every month, but still enough to help me pay for my house. I’d like to share some of that profit with the contributors, but I’m not sure how. There’s so many of them and the amount of work is so different between them that trying to think of a fair way to do profit sharing is a nightmare.
Contributors, would you like to receive some US dollars for your hard work? You’ll need to put these amounts as a revenue when you do your taxes, but it could help to pay your bills. I’d like to give something in return. You can send me a private message if you prefer.
Everyone, do you know of an open source game or project that does profit sharing? If so, how do they do it? Is there a fair way to do that or it mostly creates feuds? I don’t want to create problems or start any fight between developers.
