I don't give up. I see many artists here leaving the boat, but elsewhere it is the same. In the end, you only have two ways to pay. The traditional way with your credit card, bank card or with cryptocurrency. Even if the artists go elsewhere Bootsy, SubscribeStar, Fantia... The problem will remain the same: the hypocrisy.

The hypocrisy is blatant. Credit card companies refuse to let people pay for pages where there is sensitive content but it is possible to pay for Pixiv Premium where there is sensitive content on the site. Credit card companies continue to do business with Pixiv, knowing full well that Pixiv hosts and authorizes sensitive content.

The problem is not the credit card companies, the problem is Pixiv. Pixiv has played its game well to protect itself from the credit card companies but has failed to protect its artists and creators. If Pixiv really wanted to protect us, they would have warned us, given us a grace period, temporarily suspended our pages. No. That's not what Pixiv did.

Pixiv then pushes us to play the hypocritical game.

Pretend, as they pretend.

I am wondering what they should tell the credit card companies, when they wonder about the reason why people pay for a Pixiv Premium subscription.

So I'll stick with Fanbox too. I'll play the hypocrite game like Pixiv.

Pretend people aren't paying for sensitive content.

Let them pay for some SFW (Safe for work) images and that's it.

So no, I'm not going anywhere else. I'm staying. If companies just want to clear their conscience and stick their heads in the sand by just purging what is egregious then we'll just stop being egregious and pretend as they ask.
