Helena's chauffeur looked really familiar. Perhaps one of the CEOs in the perpetuity wing? Baird Eagan? The one Mark's community is named after Lake Baird? Cobel seemed to recognize him and turned around. Also cowbell = Cobel?? I wonder if somehow Brienne ringing the cowbell coincided with her turning the car around? And Nat trying to get Ricken to write a Lumonized version of his book? Oh the parallels I could reference to show the many "translations" of scripture in the world. How the word has been twisted to serve greedy men. This show is so meta, even the "who is alive" when burnt onto your retina is a negative image. What's the mirror version of Who is Alive? Could it be "Am I Dead?". I get a feeling once the last episode airs , the series finale we will be able to go back and finally see all the clues. Like what was up with the miniature farm? Doesn't that conflict with Keir's commandment to not render his creations in miniature? Also did you notice ever picture Irv drew of Burt was precisely the same? Like a machine did it? Only his eyes changed or facial expression almost as each one were a frame of film. Weird huh?

My Lord the discussion about Dylan meeting his wife And the comparison to dementia broke me. I believe Steven has said before that he played college football and had a lot of concussions. Same deal with me. And despite the youthful face in my profile picture (I honestly have no idea how to change it) I’m 44 and played high school and college ball when awareness about concussions just wasn’t a thing. I am sure I played some games concussed too, as there are two which I clearly don’t remember much of. I’m loving the mystery of this of this show but the comparison of concussions or TBIs leading to a Severance-like state in old age, holy shit. Never occurred to me until now. And unfortunately it makes a lot of sense. I also had a grandmother who passed while suffering from dementia, towards the end she often mistook me for her brother. And my oldest aunt, my godmother, is almost 80 and suffering from Alzheimer’s. It is freaking ROUGH. Her short term memory is like 5 minutes long and growing up she was always one of the sharpest people I knew, carved out an incredible career for herself and is now reduced to a frail woman who repeats herself over and over again, and sometimes is mentally there but other times she talks like it’s the 1970s. Sorry all of those thoughts just came on at once and freaked me out and I had to express it. From the little I know, dementia often kicks in after one retires. Gotta keep the mind active by reading, or doing puzzles like Sudoku…. TV is the worst, apparently. Except maybe a show like Severance, in all seriousness, as it always keeps you guessing at the many mysteries. Steven please read a lot and do puzzles! I’m not a doctor but it killed me to see Nikki start crying and then followed up by a cut, I’m guessing more tears were edited out. Anyway this outro conversarion was a real eye opener. Thank you both you are amazing!
