Reason for My May Hiatus + Life Update [Announcement]

Hello Undies,

While I know I don't NEED to explain why I had to take a brief hiatus, I still want to just so you all know what's been going on behind the scenes.

TLDR: Major family emergencies, mental heath, restructuring my life and thank you so much for supporting me.

If you follow me on socials (Twitter/Instagram) you may already know that my mom had a mini stroke where half of her body was partially paralyzed. She was hospitalized, but luckily seems to be making a more or less full recovery. Unfortunately, she is now more susceptible to having a full blown stroke and needs to be closely monitored.

I have kinda just been pushing myself through multiple family and personal emergencies the past few months-years. (friend/ family deaths, multiple family hospitalizations, taking care of my brother with special needs, breaking up from a long term relationship etc.) I finally reached my limit and had to choose to drop some responsibilities to take care of my family and my own mental health.

Luckily things seem to be calming down a bit and I've been working hard to make positive changes for myself long term. I recently got a new part time job for more stable income, I'm looking at apartments near work so I can finally have my own space again and I'm finally going out more since Covid began.

Hopefully all these changes will bring more stability to my life and allow me to recenter myself and give myself more time to do what I actually enjoy doing.

I'm rusty but excited to be making new art again, especially for Patreon! While I did lose a lot of Patrons while gone, I am BEYOND appreciative to the one that have stayed and continue to support me. It really does mean more than you'll ever know.

Also, I still owe Jock Tier Patrons a special thank you for May. So I'll be making 2 new exclusive sketches this month instead of 1! (And I'm working on finishing old WIPs and new drawings through the month)
