I dare you guys to play the classic Peaky Blinders drinking game. When you watch an episode you drink what they drink when they drink it

Michael McGloughlin

Becky Lynch and Polly Grey are "The Man." Sadly, kids are still being recruited or used by gangs today. By the way, Peaky Blinders means peaked cap gentleman. The peaked caps they have razor blades in.

The name Peaky Blidners comes from the hats they wear. They keep razor blades in the brim, or "peak" of their hat, and they use them to take their enemies eyes out, or "blind" them.

Charlie

According to historians the name has to do with their attire. (yes the Peaky Blinders were real people) “peaky” refers to the flat caps they wore (the brim is called a peak) and “blinders” is slang that’s like another word for “dapper” or “drippy” as the kids say nowadays.

Loving your reactions and the love for the show.

The Peaky Blinders were a street gang based in Birmingham, England, which operated from the 1880s until the 1910s. The group consisted largely of young criminals from lower- to middle-class backgrounds. They engaged in robbery, violence, racketeering, illegal bookmaking, and control of gambling. Members wore signature outfits that typically included tailored jackets, lapelled overcoats, buttoned waistcoats, silk scarves, bell-bottom trousers, leather boots, and peaked flat caps. However, contrary to the television series of the same name, it is unlikely that they had razor blades sewn into these caps, instead gaining their name from the manner in which they wore them with the cap tilted so that the peak covered one eye. I think the name of Peaky Blinders comes from two things - their flat caps that they wear were called "peakys" at the time, and "blinder" was Birmingham slang for a well dressed or good looking man. When I first watched this without googling where the names came from though, I assumed the "Blinder" part of the gang name meant that they were renowned for using their razor blades to literally blind people by cutting their faces up. Still not sure which is true honestly, both interpretations could be historically accurate, which is interesting and terrifying at the same time hahah.

A popular theory is that the name originated from the gang's practice of stitching razor blades into the peaks of their trademark flat caps. Flat caps were often referred to as 'peakys' at the time

When Thomas & Inspector Campbell met at tea place to make deal (1x2). “For my sister, I already have dealt with that situation .” That’s really the only info you get that Thomas is gonna deal or send away Ada and Freddie.
