As with all of your videos, this has proved infinitely rewatchable. I am enjoying the e-pub of Line Goes Up and think this could also be a great e-pub candidate

this is really great

as a meltdowner, it was excellent. its impossible for me to imagine myself as someone who isnt aware of the cult so i'll defer to others on that

I really enjoy all your videos, to the point that I've watched the 50 Shades series multiple times, even though I have no interest in those movies; and I've watched Line Goes Up probably half a dozen times. And I really enjoyed this one, too. That said... I do feel like TIFA spends quite a lot of time, perhaps too much, belaboring the conspiracy theory and anti-logic mindset of the apes. After a while, yeah, I get it. They'll come up with any crazy nonsense to justify their preexisting conclusions. The doc seems clearly aimed at folks who already understand how that kind of thinking works and are on board with the fact that the apes are delusional. So reinforcing the point that they're delusional a couple of dozen times with slight variation feels... excessive.

I watched it when it went public on YouTube. As someone who was aware of the initial short squeeze, and then stopped paying attention entirely, this was full of all sorts of new stuff. And it's all sorts of depressing. You brought up sovereign citizens at one point, and the idea that the US government would bankrupt itself to pay infinity dollars to whoever happens to hold GameStop stock has real sovcit moon logic to it.

Amazing work! Really enjoyed the final iteration, you did a great job explaining some of the denser aspects of investing that I didn't really grasp in the earlier versions. (Also, I was one of the folks that bought a Cohendolences card from you at PAX -- thanks so much again for taking the time to chat with me and my friend. It's been a treat to learn about your filmmaking process and see it in action via these iterations.)
