Trip to Øland 2024
Added 2024-10-05 17:00:00 +0000 UTCThis summer went fairly calm and the only "big" trip that happened for me was one back to Øland in Sweden with my mom and twin for a few days. I managed to make some diary comic pages and only the trip home is missing.
The last day before leaving the little island we stopped at an old windmill and admired the gorgeous wooden beams. It rained almost the whole way home and all you drivers know that a gentle drizzle can be very cozy. This rain was not very gentle... At some point we had to drive 60km on the highway. Anything else would have been dangerous, the rain was that heavy. God.
The emergency lamp also started blinking again and after finding a mechanic in a panic, they told us it would be okay to continue driving if we just looked out for odd smells, smoke or noises. We made it home and found out later (when the car got checked properly) that all the fuss was about a break light not working.... So much stress for such a small thing.
Anyways, Øland is amazing, the nature is gorgeous. Go visit the place if you are in the area. Can highly recommend.
