The Zetsu Mail [October 2023 Edition]

Henlo! Welcome to the 8th edition of the spookiest monthly mail online!

My favorite months in the year are August through October (don't ask) so I'm a little sad that it's coming to a close soon. I don't have the four seasons where I live, but I suppose this constitutes summer through fall? At least we get to cap it all off with my favourite day of the year: October 31st.

Well, it's still a while away. I'll probably be streaming on YouTube on that day (GMT+8) so keep an eye out for that announcement! I actually did a spooky month last year if you weren't here for it, and the audios are still available to listen to on here! Just search through the 2022 Audios collection to find it.

Oh? What's a collection, you ask? If you haven't noticed, I've sorted allll of my posts here into neat little folders. I guess it's a Patreon feature they recently added. So now, all of my 2022 and 2023 audios are seperated into collections, and this will keep going every year. There's also the Exclusive Audio Archive, a fancy name for what's essentially...the archive of all my exclusive audios. The main reason it's there is not only to seperate the regular audios from the exclusive tier ones, but also to kind of retire them. After all, I'll be doing special audios from now on, so I won't be using the 'exclusive' term to describe them anymore.

Then of course we have collections for all the polls and monthly blog posts if you wanted to go through them, too. All in all, this makes it easier to go through my expanding audio and post list for your listening pleasure. Err, emphasis on the pleasure part. Tee-hee.

There's not too much I wanted to say this month! I'm recovering from my eye surgery well! If you didn't know, I've recently went to do an ICL surgery, which in layman's terms basically implants contact lenses inside of my eyes (my regular vision is genuinely terrible). It's a better (more expensive) alternative to lasik eye surgery, and it even takes less time to recover. Bad news is: it still takes a month at least. I've been needing to use 3 different types of eyedrops as medication. I take 10 drops per eye each day at set intervals. I can't do much physical work, I can't stare at a screen too long, I have to sleep on my back, and I have to wear sunglasses all the time (it's so dark indoors).

It's an interesting experience seeing as I've never undergone a major surgery before, so this is new for me. However, I should still be able to write and record for you guys, so hopefully you can be patient with me! I do apologise that last month's special audio had to be delayed due to personal scheduling issues, so I'll still be posting that....at some point....but I'll make it free so everyone can listen to it as compensation.

I hope you all have a great spook-tober, because I've got some fun characters coming with this month's audios. Ah, speaking of which...I suppose I have to announce the theme. I don't think I need to though, it's going to be the same every year.

Before I go, I want to know: Have you ever gone trick or treating? If so, what was your favorite memory of it? Personally, trick or treating culture never existed in my country so I never got to experience the tradition. But it looks like a lot of fun!
