My friends in Australia do not like it when it is written without the slashes, so I try to neutrally let people know from time to time. Again, I didnt mean to offend and to some people the use of the term is very heavy. Each experience is different to each person. I never meant to do any harm with this and I hope I did not offend anyone. Thank you for understanding and offering your perspective. I will not be replying to the conversation anymore, I do not wish to clog this lovely comic with a discussion or anything. Even if you go online and look it up, the versions that present it as a slur always have it not fully uppercase/all lowercase, so I don’t believe Mookie is doing anything wrong.
