Frog Week 1: Frog Tribe Characters

Hello! I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend. Today is the first day of 🐸 Frog Week!

Here's the plan: this week I'm going to have a new release every day with some new sprites as we build out the characters for the Frog Tribe. Like the previous beast tribes, the frogfolk will be a full set of eight unique NPC characters plus a unique champion character.

I'll share two new NPCs for the first four days of this week, and on Friday I'll finish up the series with the SV battler for the Frogmother, completing the tribe structure. And then I'll put them all together with the insects and rat-men into a Beast Tribes 2 patron-bonus expansion pack!

For today; here are the first two characters of the Frog Tribe:

Note that the sheet has empty space, that's so there will be room for the upcoming characters on the same sheet, so you can easily update it in your game project.

ALSO:

I used the 4th of July last week as an excuse to skip a release-- but I made use of that time; I was putting together the designs and animating the bases for the frog people to prep for this week's characters.

So today's post is going to include a bonus in addition to the first two NPCs-- this sheet has the animated frog base sprite, in a variety of colors. You can use them on their own as more generic nude NPCs, or you can build your own frogfolk on top of them.
