Omega Modern Expansion - Alien Planets!

Hello! Today I'm excited to share a special announcement with some pre-release preview assets!

Adventures on Alien Planets is an expansion set for the Omega Modern style.

It will include a few different small tilesets with some new biomes for alien worlds, plus a little collection of alien character sprites, and a set of new astronaut characters.

This was meant to be finished for today. :(

After last week's rocket ship add-on, I had a burst of inspiration and I was ready to jam out this entire pack over the course of this week.

Obviously that didn't happen-- the power outage was a major setback and I lost the entire weekend, which I'd planned to dedicate to working on this. So unfortunately there's no sweet surprise expansion drop, like I'd wanted.

I finished the complete set of new human characters. There's a squad of four astronauts. The set is doubled with alternate color variants, making for a total of eight new character sprites:

I'll also go ahead and share these ones: this is based on the Rocket ship platform tiles that I released last week-- the expansion here gives you more to work with.

Of course you can be sure that there'll be even more in the full tileset when it's ready.

The full pack will likely be finished for sometime next week-- when it's done, it'll follow the normal expansion release: there'll be a temporary download link for patrons and I'll publish the pack on my itch page.
