Lo-Bit Full Asset Pack (Beta)

Hello! Today's post should be no surprise-- I've been promising to get this thing finished since last year. 😝

Here's a download with all of my lo-bit sprites and tiles: compiled together, re-organized, and optimized for use in RPGMaker.

Download:

Reminder: Your browser might not like zip files! If the download doesn't work, try copying the URL and pasting it directly into the address bar.

(As always, please let me know if you find any errors, especially with the alignment and formatting, so I can fix them before full release. I tested them in RPGmaker, but I could have missed something, I appreciate your help.)

I gotta admit that it's a lot of fun to put together these little example scenes with this style. 🀣

Also --

-- to make sure that this release has something new in it, (because I'm sharing it as today's patreon post and I don't want it to be a pure repeat of content)-- I've added a couple bonus window-skin graphics into the pack.

They're very simple (simple because that's the goal for the style) window-border assets with some arrows that can be used for UI, and they're designed to work with the lo-bit style.

They're based on the UI window that I made and used in Game Maker back when I was first testing and previewing the style... I may or may not have shared that somewhere along the way (hard to keep track with so much stuff!)-- so just to be extra sure that there's something new in today's download for patrons, I made a second variant with some gems in the corners. Fancy!

These are in the RPGmaker format, but I don't think it will be much of a problem for other engines to make use of them. If you have a suggestion for how best to arrange the sheet for general use, let me know and I'll work on that before publishing the final version of the pack.

I'm planning to put it up on my store page next week, but of course if we need to make changes or additions, there's no hard deadline.

Note: this pack is going to become one of the freebies for patrons. Because pretty much all of the content was previous released as regular patron releases (primarily during that lo-bit event week a couple summers ago), and it's all in the collection anyway -- there's no reason to lock the pack away. So we're gonna add this to the ever-growing list of packs that patrons get for free. 😝

... and I think that's it for today!

------

I'll be back in a few days with the second Monster Monday for our Summer of Monsters!

Have a fantastic weekend. Thanks!

PERFECT timing on this; just circled back around to my lobit SRPG mod project this morning.

I love that there's enough in this set to pretty much build a game. Coherent UI/palletes can be a weakness of mine, so I just might use this for a new project!
