Fall Pine Trees

Hello! It's the first release of November! I have some new tile variations for you today.

These ones were inspired by the pine trees that I see in real life! Some of the pine trees around here have these patches of browning needles in the fall, and it makes for a really pretty look. It gave me the idea to put together these tile variations for today's patron release!

Although we think of pine trees as evergreen, a better description would be “semi-evergreen”. An individual needle stays on the tree for two to four years, depending on species and weather. As the needles age, they become less efficient at producing nutrients for the tree. Younger needles at branch tips cast more shade on them. The old needles finally turn brown and drop off; sometimes in copious quantities.

First off-- these tiles are based on the pine trees that I developed to use as the primary tree style for the Elements series. They were originally released with a Time Fantasy color scheme; so I have both styles available today:

Secondly; because these are an edit of existing tiles and therefore didn't really take too much time compared to most releases: I wanted to add a little bit extra to expand the release a bit. So I went ahead and made similar edits to some other tiles to match up with these.

Here are some world map versions made to match-- like the trees above, these are edits based on some tiles that I previously shared here on patreon.

Right now, these ones only have the Time Fantasy color version (this world map stuff hasn't been arranged yet into a proper Elements release).

Okay; that's it for today. I'll be back next week with something new from the request thread.

See you then. Have a good weekend.

Thanks!

Would you be able to do snowy ones, too?
