The Baba Yaga's Hut

Hello! Today's SPOOKY release is based on some popular patron suggestions!

WOOOO SPOOOOKY!

(NOTE -- This is the release that I meant to make yesterday but got delayed-- I was able to spend this morning/afternoon on it and just finished it now; so I'm gonna publish it immediately! 😁 No need to delay until tomorrow.)

This is based on the witch's hut that I shared last week. When I saw this suggestion I immediately thought that it was a great idea for a Halloween release!

The design of the hut is slightly different than the original tiles: I pulled in the chimney so it made sense when the hut lifted off the ground. So if you're going to use this version just be aware that it's a little bit different. You could also potentially edit the original one by just copying this one over it.

This set has two main animations: first there's the animation of the hut lifting off of the ground; and then there's a four-frame animation for a walk cycle. Both animations are shown in the gif above (even tho the walk looks kinda janky because I was rushing the preview based on RPGMaker limitations LOL).

The charset is set up to work in RPGMaker (as well as general use, of course)-- but these are four-frame animations so I arranged the sheet in a special way:

The middle column contains both of the "idle" frames, in the down and standing positions.

The column on the left contains a four-frame animation that transitions between those two idles. The right column has a four-frame walk animation which is meant to repeat (down>left>right>up).

There are two versions of the sheet: with and without a semi-transparent shadow.

Here are the Downloads:

Reminder for RPGMaker users: These are arranged in character set format. Add a "!$" to the beginning of the filename, and the four-frame animation is designed to work with a "down>left>right>up" spinning motion.

I'll be back after the weekend with the usual end-of-month stuff on Halloween.

Be safe out there.

Thanks!
