More Beachgoer Sprites
Added 2023-08-11 15:59:01 +0000 UTCHello! Today's release expands on some of the sprites that I shared with you on Monday.

I shared some bikini babes earlier this week, as some NPCs that are designed to fill a beach resort area. Today I've expanded on that idea with a couple of hunky dudes in their swimming trunks.
Although-- I will admit that I cut some corners with this one π -- you might recognize these hairstyles from some other recent NPCs (bonus points if you know it without me linking to them!). I figured that you're never really gonna see these guys anywhere near each other, so it wouldn't hurt to repurpose these hairstyles. π
There's two more blank spaces on the sheet that I left open-- these sprites are super easy to edit (really it's just the existing TF base with some trunks)-- so I figured that you might want to copy some other heads onto these characters.
The guys with the swimming trunks were really easy to make, so to make today's release more substantial, I included the in-water versions too: for these guys and the swimsuit girls from Monday. It's another simple one (they use the swimming base that I shared a couple years ago) -- the idea is that you can have some NPCs floating in the water.
So-- with these two releases, I think that there's enough to give some life to a beach area in your game world.
I hope that these are useful for you!

By the way-- do you use Game Maker? I use it for making my own non-rpg games (mostly jam stuff, and Jubilee!)-- and over the past couple years I've improved a lot as a programmer. I'd be happy to share some function scripts or other such things that I've made for GM-- I just have no idea if anybody would be interested at all.
Nothing too fancy really, but I thought it might be worth mentioning: if there's any interest, please let me know in the comments.

That's it for now. Have a fantastic weekend-- I'll be back in a few days with something new. See you then.
Thanks!

I do use Gamemaker, I'd love to see any scripts you've written! Other people's code always intrigues me because we all have our own style to do the same thing.
