Animated Melting Ice Block

Hello! Today's release is based on a patron request.

I love to make assets that can be used for puzzles and other interactive mechanics. I think it improves the potential for gameplay!

So when I saw this in the request thread, I had to go for it.

There are two animations here: the first animation is a melting animation (which can be reversed to re-form the ice).

The second animation is a variation with some cracks in the ice: it can work similarly, but I thought that it might make more sense if your game mechanics are about smashing the ice instead of melting it.

Both of these are a simple four-frame animation intended to use for the transition between the two states: fully-formed ice block and the water puddle are individual frames.

For the RPG Maker sheet: I've arranged this in a way that should make it easy to use in RPG Maker. The static full frames are on the top set of the sheet, and the bottom has the transition animation. The full frames are arranged in a way where you can switch to the animation set, 'spin' the sprite, and then switch back. I hope that makes sense.

For non-RPG Maker users, I've included a "general sheet" too, because the RM one has a lot of blank space on it. The size of the individual frames is a simple 16x32 (2 tiles high).

Also, a personal note: there was a significant death in my family this weekend, so I will be a busier than normal helping my mom throughout the next couple weeks. In addition to the expected grieving and sadness, there's a lot of practical stuff that needs to be dealt with.

Hopefully it doesn't really affect my regular posting schedule, but I just wanted to make a note in case something comes up and I miss a post or two this month.

Anyways, I plan to be back later in the week with something new from the request thread.

Thanks.
