Lo-Bit Troublemakers 4-Dir Sprites
Added 2023-04-21 15:00:06 +0000 UTCHello! I have something fun to share with you today!

Tor today's release, I was hoping to get more done with the Elements Caves Biomes for a bigger preview release. And I did get some stuff done-- but it's mostly just more terrain variations and expanding the sheet format-- in other words: nothing particularly flashy. I'll probably share a bigger preview when I get to making cooler object-layer tiles.
So instead, I'm going to share these with you today! I originally made these extended characters for my own use in a little project (in my game they are a pair of troublemakers!!), but I think that they might be useful to anybody using this style.
You'll recognize these characters from the original Lo-Bit release week. Originally they only had a single-direction idle animation, like most of the characters in that collection.
Today's sheet expands on these little troublemakers so they have full four-direction walking sprites (like the hero characters).
Downloads:
- Lo-Bit Troublemakers Full Sheet - 100% (16x16)
- Lo-Bit Troublemakers Full Sheet - 200% (32x32)
- Lo-Bit Troublemakers Full Sheet - 300% (48x48)
Note that there's plenty of empty room on the sheet! I'll be happy to fill it out with four-direction sheets of other Lo-Bit characters. Let me know which characters you would want to see!

Okay-- that's it for now!
I'll be back next week with something new. Maybe from the request thread, but I have some other ideas too... See you soon!
Thanks!

It depends on the tileset. In the Final Tower set, there's two types of walls-- the rocky ones can be tiles vertically. The mechanical walls most likely can't, because it's just a really complicated design. The ashlands cliff should tile vertically, it seems to look right in the preview screnshots. Thanks
