Mineral Ores for Mining
Added 2020-11-09 15:59:00 +0000 UTCHello! Today's release is something that a lot of people have been asking about for some time now.

There are two styles (rock and crystalline), and a few color varieties for each. You can use them however works best for you (I imagined them as: coal, tin, copper, gold, ruby, emerald, lapis or sapphire).
Each mineral has four images here: variations for use on either the wall or the floor, in either small or large clusters.
I'm releasing these with two color variations: I've previously explained in detail the problems with Time Fantasy's color scheme. The limitations on contrast are especially difficult when it comes to shiny or metallic materials like these, so my approach with these ores was to create them for general use first (matching the wider color range of the new tileset style), and then use that base and modify them to fit into the TF aesthetic.
As a result, you can choose whichever color scheme works best for you. I'll also likely be including these as a part of the new style's full release (whenever we get there...).
Here's a preview of how they look, on the different types of basic cave environments that already exist in the Time Fantasy assets:

They might not fit PERFECTLY in every setting-- that's because (in addition to the aforementioned color problems) my goal with these was flexibility, so that you can just layer them into any environment. Hopefully they work well enough, and you will find them useful!
Anyways -- here are the Downloads:
Time Fantasy Color Style:
- Mineral Ores Sheet - 16x16 - 100%
- Mineral Ores Sheet - 32x32 - RMVX
- Mineral Ores Sheet - 48x48- MV/MZ
Full Color Style:
- Mineral Ores Sheet - 16x16 - 100%
- Mineral Ores Sheet - 32x32 - RMVX
- Mineral Ores Sheet - 48x48- MV/MZ
As with all my tile add-ons, these are arranged in a simple regular grid so they can easily be added to any existing tileset.

And here are some links to previous releases that might be useful alongside these:

I'll be back later in the week with something new, probably from the request thread, on Thursday or Friday. See you then.
Thanks.
