Beast Tribe Heroes

So I noticed that we've passed the 300 patron mark. That seems like a milestone, so it gave me an idea to do something special...
My original plan for this week's patron updates was to release some kobold sprites. Animal-races have consistently been a popular patron request.
I've decided to expand on that idea. Instead of a regular patron update with a few sprites, I'm going to release a new character pack: announcing TIME FANTASY: BEAST TRIBES.
This is going to be another patron pack, similar to Lich Crusades or Mythical Monsters.
This pack will include a set of characters for five racial tribes: wolfmen, catmen, lizardmen, birdmen, and fishmen.
Each tribe will have a set of 8 characters: warriors and regular NPCs (even children), to populate tribal towns or villages. That's 40 character sprites that I have planned for this expansion!
On top of that, each tribe will have its own unique hero:
(You might recognize the bird hero from a previous free release-- I figured "why not" and added him in: this guy gave me the idea to include the bird tribe! Otherwise there'd just be four tribes. 😉)
Each of the five tribal heroes will have an emotion set and a SV battler.
This pack is going to be a lot bigger than I originally planned for this week's release-- but it'll be worth it! This is going to be huge, and it'll take the place of this week's two updates. I hope to have it finished before next weekend.
But until then... I can't leave you empty-handed! Here's a preview release: the five hero characters are finished (their regular walking sprites) and you can download them here today.

They may not fit in with the theme though they are a bit 'squid-like'. Also, this is completely unrelated, but any update on the battlebacks? So hyped for The Beast Tribes!
