Reclaiming Our YouTube Channel (and stopping midroll ads)…
Added 2020-12-28 16:23:14 +0000 UTCHello Everybody, very soon K.C. (Fiona) and I will be deleting all the age restricted videos from our YouTube channel. This means that all the old Slave & HFO content will be finding a new home on our website in roughly a week or so.
Why are we doing this? Since August of this year our channel has been demonetized by YouTube. Originally we were planning to go through alternative monetization routes even if they are slower so we can maintain our entire video library. However, in November YouTube announced some changes to its terms of service which includes running ads on videos from channels that are not monetized through YouTube’s Partner program. Specifically we are concerned about midroll ads being placed on our videos which would ruin the experience. If we delete these videos we can re-apply to the YouTube Partner program and get back control of ad placement on our videos. This will help us avoid the worst case scenario of having 5 midroll ads put on a sleep hypnosis video by YouTube and us not being able to do anything about it.
We want to thank everybody here for all your support throughout this difficult year. Without your help the partial loss of income back in August would have been much harder to bear. We still plan on making the kind of content that was in the soon to be deleted videos, but that content will be on Patreon and our website, not YouTube anymore. Thank you again for your support and we hope you have a good 2021.

Total bulls*** that the slave and HFO videos that you guys posted are gone from YouTube. Glad I switched over to Patreon. Screw YouTube sometimes.

I didn't think YouTube was serious though, so I started watching, but I got scared to death when the first loud ad hit me. *-* Btw I also found you guys on YouTube. It's very sad that some of my old favourites will be gone from there...
