Japanese Phonetics 30 now updated!

Good afternoon, Patrons. I hope this post finds all of you well!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've updated lesson 30, the episode which serves as a cheat sheet for most of the important points from lesson 5 to lesson 30. Since uploading the original lesson 30 approximately two years ago, I've since completely re-done several episodes from the series, such as lesson 12, the introduction to い-adjectives lesson, and lesson 13, the lesson on 平板 i-adjectives, among others. The current version of episode 30 now contains the important points from these remade lessons so that it matches the rest of the series' curriculum.

I had initially wanted to add native recordings for every point in this newer version of episode 30, but because there are so many points that I cover in the lesson, during the editing process I came to the conclusion that adding native recordings for everything would make the video feel quite fragmented and significantly hurt the general watchability. That said, I do have some quirks with my Japanese pronunciation, so please be aware of this while watching the lesson and check any of the original episodes I reference, which are listed in the top left corner of the screen and can be quickly accessed from the index page, if you'd like to hear high-quality native recordings for any of the points I cover.

In other news, I wanted to let everyone know that my health condition has improved dramatically since the last time I posted. I'm still getting bouts of dizziness here and there, but it's not nearly as severe as it used to be. The main factor seems to be a lack of exercise, and potentially a lack of certain minerals as well. I'm already back to a solid, working state, however, and I imagine I'll be back to 100% within a month.

Finally, I wanted to let everyone know that in the next Patreon update, my business partner JP and I will be making a big announcement with regards to future (new) content. If things go well, I should be able to make this announcement by the end of the week—stay tuned, JP and I are very excited about this!
