Fiona is evolving in 2020.
Added 2020-01-02 23:02:09 +0000 UTC“Fiona” was created in my early years of trying to figure out hypnosis. It was at first just a pseudonym, but at times a character and an alter ego. Fiona has been a mix of everything.
Over the years, I’ve received a lot of emails from people expecting me to be the Fiona they hear in certain files. Sometimes, I am. Sometimes, not.
I wish to begin to convey the concept that while Fiona is my creation, I am not Fiona.
When I have attended a few in person hypno events as Fiona, I have felt out of place. It’s hard to connect with my entire archive expanding over many years now.
I want a degree of separation, not to disown my creation, but to have a reminder that behind Fiona is a real human. I’m sure that is not a surprise to many of my fans.
So let me introduce myself. I am K.C. Deeply. I am the woman who voices and creates as Fiona.
I’m going to be experimenting with separating myself from Fiona in my communications. I’m not sure how this is going to look, but also I’m excited by the concept of creating hypno content outside of the Fiona-box.
Fiona isn’t going anywhere. I might actually be able to dive more deeply into some roles with Fiona, once I can have my own personal distinction.
As K.C. Deeply, I want to make more creative and experimental hypno content. I need this distinction to break my own creative walls. The fantasy of Fiona and the personhood of myself are holding each other back in different ways.
I’m not sure what this change will look like yet; it will probably be pretty blurred for a while, but I’m curious to see the outcome.

E-hugs if wanted. In many ways we all have different roles and personna's for work, friends, close family, it must be extra hard for an actor to meet people who expect them to be their role. Similar with your situation I imagine.

She had a lot of success with Tiptree, but found it difficult to be accepted when she wrote under her own name. As a creative person, I inderstand we create characters and superimpose upon them a certain vibe with includes strengths and weakness which we may have in degrees. In all, the truth is always hidden.
