POP SONG REVIEW: "Break My Soul" vs. "Falling Back"

/edit Reuploading a bunch of things people caught, if it's not working at the moment just give it 15 minutes and it'll be back up

God, finally managed to finish a video. I have been suffering from the most crippling writer's block. I wanted to have this done two weeks ago. Well, at least it's finished. Check my errors, y'all!

POP SONG REVIEW: "Break My Soul" vs. "Falling Back"

Comments

Exactly Drake's attempt at House music is like what some music critics I follow said about MGK's "Tickets to my Downfall"-if some unknown up and coming artist pulled this crap they would've been laughed out of the room and not been given a free pass but because it's Drake it's somehow OK for him to phone it in.

I think the problem is that like with Mchine Gun Kelly's gentrification of pop punk, there's so much fantastic actual house music out there that's more worth listening to. Why listen to out of touch superstars trendchasing when acts like HAII, Hannah Peel, Kelly Lee Owens, Daniel Avery have been putting out fantastic music lately.

Might be due to my being chronically online, but public opinion of Drake has been going downhill for a long time. House music has always felt like a divisive genre in the sense that it's either great or completely heinous. Also... the true star of "Break My Soul" is Big Freedia! It wouldn't have been as successful without her sample imo.
