I was sure... I was dead certain that it would be 'bad guy'. The title drop and synth-lick would've been the perfect transition. But I suspect even Todd knew that would have been too obvious and on-the-nose. 'Leave Me Alone' is the much better choice!

I always try and figure out what transition song he uses for the worst list. Thought it would be “Goodbyes” by Post Malone but “Leave Me Alone” by Flipp Dinero was so much better!

YES Thank you!!! I really abhorred Git Up, and something about its 'dance-step' lyrics and melody just pushed all the right 'wrong' buttons for me. (I thought Todd's #7 rant about genres would lead up to that song as the entry) But also, I never really grew up with country music so perhaps Todd's tolerance for R&B-fused-country cheese is way higher than mine.

Bro Country actually got me into country music so I quite like it, Knockin Boots is pretty weak as far as Bryan songs go though, say what you will about "One of them Nights" at least it's memorable, Knockin Boots is too listless and boring to stick around long.

OH SWEET JESUS THANK YOU FOR CALLING OUT "KNOCKING BOOTS." I heard that way too much this year due to a shitty workplace, but for a song that's all about sex, it's the most weirdly chaste and goofball thing, but in the most charmless, stupid, bland way.

I've always considered Marshmello kind of like EDM's version of elevator music. It's not so ear grating that you to fling yourself out of the nearest window in the short time it takes to go to your floor, but otherwise goes in one ear and out the other.

Spoilers… … DUH. #10: Yeah, it sounds like Maroon 5 to me too. The smugly sleazy attitude of their lyrics only furthers your point. In hindsight, Panic! at the Disco is actually becoming the new Imagine Dragons (big and loud sounding fake rock intended for sports events and movie trailers), while the Jo Bros. are the new Maroon 5. #9: I like the racially inclusive music video, but too bad the music isn’t quite as up with the times. #8: These types of artists have gotten so bland and indistinguishable to me I barely even notice. #7: Yes, yes, yes. Marshmello is like seriously the worst thing in music ever right now. He is literally a vacuum of creativity in the industry. I’m so sick of his influence and stream-pandering trickery. #6: Okay, is the Lil prefix an official title for SoundCloud rappers now? Like Sir, Miss, or Dr.? It may as well be. For all the originality SoundCloud should have unleashed upon the industry, we’ve sure gotten quite the onslaught of clones.

woah she's sweet but spoilers a little bit spoilers #10: The actual worst hit of the year, IMO. I hate everything about this. The sound, the content, just, everything is so gross. #9: I get the hate for this one but, I dunno, there was worse bro-country this year, even with the slim pickings. #8: I have literally no clue why he sounds like Jeremih with throat cancer. Everything else besides his voice is fine but his voice is What The Heck Happened. I don't think I've ever made it to the guitar solo of this song. #7: I love how Marshmello's drop basically interrupts the "YOU" in the chorus. Marshmello songs all sound the same. He's not sticking around through 2020, I suspect. #6: Baby by Baby ft. Baby the Baby. Lil Baby is accurately named because he always sounds like he's about to cry.
